Well, guys, it's the last full day of Mercury Retrograde! Mercury will go Direct at 4am Eastern/1am Pacific Friday morning (late tonight if you stay up that long) so when we wake tomorrow, we'll be back into forward motion. Therefore, today could be a bit crazy or at least into tonight as Mercury is at a stop and shifting position. Be aware of what is going on with your money or possessions, you wouldn't want to misplace your purse or wallet, or cash a check made out to the wrong amount, also keep an eye on your purchases or products, as this is occurring in Taurus. It could also revolve around something you are building or want to build, your pleasures, values, or how you are being valued where things get glitchy in this final shift. Today Cancer Moon meets with Uranus in Taurus for an opportunity, so we have some excitement, spontaneity, innovation, or social energy around what is going on with these Mercury Retrograde topics (income, purchases, possessions, or products) and a door that is open to us via our home, real estate deals, family, or roommate interests in the mix. Mercury is still Retrograde as we enter the month but that ends on the 3rd at 4am eastern. Mercury goes Direct now and begins to move us forward through the Shadow, allowing us to talk, meet or decide things that we’ve been processing over the Retrograde. We move forward through Taurus first, now through the 13th, and during this time are talking or deciding things about income, purchases, possessions, products, the things we build, our pleasures, values, or about how we are being valued. Do note that until the 9th Mercury is getting off the degree it went Direct upon and is tied to the fix star Algol so we may have more of a tendency to ‘lose our heads’ over something, so stop, think, rethink once more, before lobbing into things until we get to the 9th when it comes to these topics. Then on the 13th Mercury heads into Gemini where the pace will quicken and we’ll be looking at both sides of the story in our talks, meetings, sales, writing, offers, or decisions. By the 18th we exit the Shadow of the Retrograde and are entering into new territory with these topics, leaving any slow-downs or past intrigues behind. ZOE MOON ASTROLOGY DAILY HOROSCOPE MAY 22

 

SUNDAY MAY 22 

We have 3 different things going on today. First, we are in frictional territory with the Pisces Moon squaring Mercury Retrograde and the Sun in Gemini early in the day. So, we are dealing with something hard to pinpoint or foggy or strange or tiring, or perhaps we are wanting to rest, recuperate, get inspired, or focus on artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, or research needs, and then there is this do-over matter that is coming in from the Mercury Retrograde asking us to show up for it and get involved. This would present as news, talks, meetings, sales, or writing scenarios, or with siblings, neighbors, moves, vehicles, electronics, short trips, or local activities we need to tackle. For most this should be done after 3pm eastern, fingers crossed. Next, we have Mars in Pisces getting fired up and actively ready to make things happen as it meets with Pluto, the planet of transformation, in Capricorn, the sign of ambitions, and this is about the opportunity alignment they form. So, I'd say that whatever this malaise is in the early part of the day is definitely behind us and we are on fire making a go at things. This can help purge, get into situations underground, work towards more empowerment, make changes, and evolve what's going on, so, set goals by all means. This can bring in third-parties, focus on financial interests or pull you towards more intimate needs as well. Finally, at 9:15pm Eastern Mercury Retrograde exits Gemini and backs into Taurus where it will now be spending the rest of it's time in your do-over, now until June 3rd. So, we shift our rethink to our possessions, objects of affection, purchases, products, income, the things we are building or want to build, pleasures, values, and how we are being valued in situations. It's time to reassess things or be open to the past coming back around in some way here or to reworking an ongoing situation or to let something go. We have a little over 11 days to figure it out here so slow down and give it some time to be revealed. Do watch for mix-ups, miscommunications or malfunctioning electronics or mechanicals associated with these topics since there can be some screwy moments in these areas now. So, as an example, you may lose something of yours and this leads to looking everywhere and this leads to some thought about what this object meant to you and this is what you are supposed to figure out during this period but on the same note, it could be that an item you lost before this part of the Retrograde began could return to you. Other examples could be an old income-making opportunity comes back around or you decide you really aren't into what you are doing to make a living anymore during this period. Another example could be that you had wanted to purchase a certain item but for some reason it wasn't possible but now all of a sudden you find that it is available again to purchase. Another example might be that you have been putting up with not being valued in a certain situation and this period allows you to discover what you are going to do about it. These Mercury Retrogrades can be a nuisance but they do seem to help us figure certain things out, so be conscious of what is transpiring around you. Since you are advised to hold off on new things during a Mercury Retrograde period you would want to try to hold off on anything new appearing as a purchase, income situation or decision about your possessions or products until after June 3rd, and if you want to be completely free of any glitches, until the Shadow phase is over on June 18th but feel ok with these things arriving from the past, coming back around or as part of a do-over in a current situation. Sometimes we have no choice but to accept an offer because to let it go would be too unfortunate, if that is the case try to leave yourself some wiggle room in negotiations, contracts, or protect yourself if this is about purchases for you by getting the warranty and keeping receipts since something is likely to change up ahead.

We have 2 major events this week and they both occur on Tuesday! Let’s take a look.

MONDAY is about adjustments that form a Finger of God or Yod, both names for this configuration. It is pointing at emotional needs with lovers, children, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits so this is where the crux of the matter resides. The issues or needs that are in need of some kind of adaptation or flexibility are around secrets, addictions, deceptions, artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, or research themes, any legal agreements, travel plans, media ventures, educational pursuits, or ceremonial matters, and any third party, power, control, financial, sexual, divorce, or third-party goals or dealings with authority figures. So, as example, you want to figure out the thing with the lover or child you might need to get real about an addiction or tackle a secret, sign or reevaluate legal documents about it, and work out the third-party situation, just look at the combinations to get where you need to deal with things.

TUESDAY is our big day. First, Mercury Retrogrades at 7:47am Eastern. This is a doozie since it’s in Mercury’s sign, Gemini. We now slow down a bit and revisit old ideas, get into talks, meetings, sales, writing, interviews, offers, or decisions, or reconnections with siblings, neighbors, vehicles, moves, electronics, short trips, or local activities, that allow us to reassess ongoing situations or the past in some way. Now through May 22nd Mercury is Retrograde in Gemini. On the 22nd it moves the Retrograde into Taurus until Mercury goes Direct on June 3rd. We’ll talk about the second part of this when we are there. Double checking facts and figures, watching out for mix-ups, miscommunications, or mechanical/electronic malfunctioning is part of the do-over so be vigilant about this and if you can wait for final decisions on things without losing out on opportunities, until the Retrograde is over or even until we are past the Shadow of the Retrograde June 18th, then you run less risk of having issues associated with these slow-downs and mix-ups tied to it moving forward. Next, Jupiter enters Aries for the first time since mid-2010 through mid-2011. Jupiter wants to go big, adventure, seek happiness, growth, or prosperity, and in Aries he’s raring to go, passionate, angry, motivated, or active about it, in pursuit of personal interests. This can get you fired up to go big with something personal, physical, about your body, image, brand, name, title, or needs, and it can bring legal, travel, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political influences to what you are doing. Jupiter will travel through Aries now through Oct 28th at which point he will Retrograde back into Pisces for any last unfinished business there through Dec 20th. Jupiter will then be back in Aries Dec 20th of this year until May 16th, 2023. So, let’s make the most of round one.

WEDNESDAY is focused on work, health or animals, or perhaps co-workers, paperwork, or hired help. There should be opportunity to get busy with at least one other person today regarding your needs here and harmonics around your involvement with income, purchases, possessions, or products in the mix.

THURSDAY and FRIDAY then focus on relationships, so connections with partners, clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, or other key people. This is in flow with talks, meetings, interviews, offers, sales, writing, or decisions on THURSDAY, as well as bringing focus on love, income, beauty, or pleasure at some point with another. FRIDAY it puts you in flow with more serious ambitions or goals and any online, social or aspirational interests.

SATURDAY is asking for an adjustment with Mercury Retrograde and your needs with a financial, sexual, reproductive, mortality, divorce, or third-party matter so expect to rethink past or ongoing situations via your talks, the news coming in or decisions about it.
