Zoe Moon Astrology OCTOBER MONTHLY Horoscopes

What a month ahead! We have a whole lot going on in the Scorpio area of our chart, a whole lot going on in the Libra zone, a whole lot with Venus at the helm, as well as a few other highlights. Let’s take a look.

Venus is Stationing in Scorpio as we move into October and will Retrograde on the 3rd. So, we are feeling on the precipice with anything related to love or lovers, income, vanity, beauty, or pleasures as things slowdown from the 1st-3rd in the Station and then take us on a journey to revisit, revise, release, rekindle, or rework things during the Retrograde. Retrograde is a 2-parter which will start out in Scorpio from the 3rd-25th, and then back into Libra from the 25th-Nov 13th. Venus will then go Direct Nov 13th in Libra and start moving us forward again, re-entering Scorpio in Direct motion again on Dec 4th. We will then move forward with these Scorpio themes again from Dec 4th-Jan 7th. It’s a crazy long story for Venus so let’s take a look at what it means. Scorpio is about our sex life, any jealousies, control issues, possessiveness, any deep or profound changes, how we are evolving the story, our reproductive life, hormonal matters, mortality, a birth, divorce, the financial assets or resources, or third-party situations. The Retrograde will be our cue to slow down in these realms to revisit love or money or what is going on with beauty or pleasure here and either return to the past, rework the current or let go of something. Let’s look at the Libra part of the Venus Retrograde in a moment.

Next, on the 4th of October Mercury enters the Shadow of his upcoming Retrograde in Scorpio. Do you see a trend here?! The fast moving planets are called our personal planets because they tend to impact our day to day life in more personal ways, Venus with love or money, beauty or pleasure, Mercury with our mind, talks, and choices. So we may start to pick up on news or ideas, have talks or meetings, write about it or focus on sales, short trips, moves, or local activities in the Scorpio realm that we will be revisiting or releasing up ahead. Again, this would be about loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, insurance, alimony, child support, a partner’s money, or other financial resource, or about our sex life, reproductive needs, divorce, or third-party interests.

By the 24th, at 3:13am Eastern, Mercury Retrogrades. So, we are now in official do-over mode with our talks, meetings, offers, sales, writing, or decisions about finances, sex, reproduction, divorce, or third parties. There may be mix-ups, miscommunications or malfunctioning items tied to these topics during the Retrograde so double check facts and figures, try to stay in flux, but do make the most of revisiting, releasing, or reworking things in these arenas. Mercury will go Direct on Nov 13th (same day Venus goes Direct) and we will be moving forward with choices then based on what we figured out during this do-over. This forward motion will run from Nov 13th- Dec 6th and then Mercury will exit Scorpio, so that is our timeframe. It is really interesting to note that both Mercury and Venus will go Direct on Nov 13th so whatever we are figuring out, we should have the skinny on it by then.

On the 23rd the Sun moves into Scorpio and will tour this sign over the next 30 days. This puts a spotlight on the financial matters, sex life, reproductive needs, divorce, or third party situations. It really draws us into these themes and asks us to pursue our needs, get busy physically about it, make it personal, promote ourselves, stand out, and shine. So plan on added energy in these realms starting now.

On the 15th Pluto, ruler of Scorpio, goes Direct at 10:41pm Eastern, ending months of slowdowns and do-over in the sign Aquarius. There is more to this but I thought I would put it in the Scorpio section since it does impact how much of our life may be shifting gears this month in the realm of finances, sex, reproduction, divorce, mortality, birth, or third-party situations. Now in Direct motion Pluto wants to get in there and move these themes forward as well as getting us back into deeper changes we should now be ready to make. Some of this may play out online and some with friends or associates, some around original projects, aspirations or freedoms, some with astrology, charities, science, AI, or gatherings. So, watch the shift on this day and start moving ahead with what you can, we have until May 8th next year before Pluto Retrogrades again.

Ok, now for what is going on in the Libra part of our chart. Libra is about relationships, balance, justice, and higher esthetics. So when it comes to the Libra phase of the Venus Retrograde that starts Oct 25th at 5:10am Eastern, we can assume it will put us in touch with partners, clients, specialists, representatives, opponents, competitors, advocates, or other important relationships for a do-over. We will revisit the love, income, beauty, or pleasure with these folks or revisit where we are with balance, justice, or higher esthetics to rework, release or rekindle things here from Oct 25th-Nov 13th in the Retrograde. At this point we will rehash some things or let them go, fix some things or get better closure. Again we will need to be aware that we are in flux, we may feel differently once the energy is Direct again so go slow, feel things out, more will be clear after Nov 13th.

On the 10th we have a NEW MOON in Libra that kicks in at 11:50am Eastern and will be in play over the next 2 weeks, until the end of the day on the 26th. This is our cosmic boost period that can help us launch into something new with a partner, our clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, competitors, or advocates or start a new relationship. It can also give us that boost to start something new with our needs for balance, justice or higher esthetics. If not starting something new in these arenas, we can equally get that nice boost with our current situations, helping us take them into what comes next. Since Libra is ruled by Venus and Venus is undergoing a Retrograde through Scorpio and Libra, we may need to release something past or present or rekindle or rework something with love or money, beauty or pleasure as part of this New Moon momentum in our relationship zone.

That’s it for the Libra part of our chart, a month to connect one-on-one with these relationships, seek balance, enjoy higher esthetics, or pursue justice, with lots of forward momentum from the New Moon and a do-over where we release, rekindle or rework something about love or income needs, beauty or pleasure with these folks.

Our Full Moon this month is in Taurus. It begins to build at 7:35pm Eastern on the 25th and culminates by 12:12am Eastern on the 26th. It’s likely most will experience it on the 25th, but some will have their experience on the 26th and some both days. Taurus is about the things we are building and our pleasures in life. It is about our values, how we are valued or how we value others. It is about our income, purchases, possessions, or products. And it may be about a Taurus in our life. This is where we have reached the apex of energy for the year and will be either wrapping something up and marking an ending or achieving, having breakthroughs or celebrating. This is a rather intense Full Moon for a couple reasons. One, the ruler of Taurus is Venus and she is Retrograde. So there is this vibe of do-over, of letting go or reworking things in some way around love or money, beauty or pleasure, and any one-on-ones with others about it as it pertains to what is culminating with income, purchases, products, possessions, the things we build, our pleasures, or a Taurus. The other, is that this Full Moon is square to Pluto. The Moon will square Pluto by 12:45am Eastern, the Sun by 8:12am Eastern, so the squares are tight and significant. This is about more dynamic involved around change, sex, finances, reproduction, divorce, or third parties in the mix. It may play out with friends, groups, online, or around aspirations or freedoms involved. So, we will either be pushing through this with more intention or tested by it in some way. Again, it would seem most will experience this in the build-up to the Full Moon on the 25th, while some will have it in play on the 26th or both days. Examples could be you need to deal with insurance or a loan or some other financial matter as it pertains to your possessions (a car, home, etc.), or perhaps you are getting some handle on your 401k as it pertains to your income. Perhaps there is something coming to a head with the divorce and shared assets or with a gifted possession and that sexy attraction, you get the idea.

Finally, Halloween… Happy Halloween. This year we are in Cancer Moon at the start and Leo Moon at the end. The Cancer Moon energy is clinging to home or spending time at someone else’s home, or it may involve family or roommates, or an emotional tie. There are a lot of positive talks, meet-ups or offers around this today. Venus is square up until 6pm Eastern so we may not find that great looking costume or have issues with image, a partner, the money, or love in the story up until then. It shouldn’t be monumental, but it is there. The Moon goes Void at this point, at 6pm Eastern and will be in the Void Moon until 12:18am Eastern on the 1st, or that would be 3pm-9:18pm Pacific on the 31st. We then move into Leo Moon, which is harmonizing with Neptune, adding quite the fun, fantasy vibe to the night or making it more surreal as the veil is thinning and the spiritual realm is in flow to what we are doing. On a personal note, I would say to everyone, with the battle between Good and Evil heating up on the world stage recently, I would highly suggest that if you are planning on participating in this Holiday that you do a prayer of protection before diving in. It really wouldn’t hurt for us all to send out prayers of love and light tonight. I wish everyone well!
