The DAILY ASTROLOGY Oct 19

Hello Monday! Today Venus Retrograde moves into the rays of the Sun which can mean we feel less able to see her, that she withholds love, income, beauty, or pleasures, that she is combust and therefore burned away-these are the ancient explanations. However, I have my own interpretation of this combo, and it is that she is illuminated and in the care of the Sun-my interpretation of it. This is for 10 days starting today, with a peak this coming Friday the 23rd.

So, what would it mean to be in the care of the Sun? I would say it means a lot of what goes on depends on how we are showing up, getting involved, making sure we are emanating love, beauty and joy, or working towards income needs, and how we are keeping the faith that what we are doing will find its path without the need to see it in the moment. It also would mean our faith in Divinity matters right now when it comes to her themes. Since this is in Scorpio, we may need to dig a bit deeper to find it or we may need to be open to transformative moments on an emotional level around it. And of course we need to remember the Retrograde is about releasing, rekindling, reworking, or reassessing her themes.

Today this is pushing us (we are trying to climb or move a mountain or two around it) or testing us (there's an obstacle or frustration around it) as Venus Retrograde squares Pluto. So, there is something more to the story today, involving third parties, power, control, sex, finances, divorce, mortality, reproduction, or changes, and it may play out via friends, groups, online, about original projects, freedoms, aspirations, or causes.

The rest of what is going on today outside of Venus and her intricacies, should bring us into flow with our aspirations, original projects, friends, groups, astrology, charities, AI, or online interests as they pertain to our ideas, talks, meetings, sales, writing, offers, or decisions, our own sense of foundation and self-mastery, our ambitions, and the actions engaging the lover, kids, drama, creativity, or fun. This is all in flow, however with this last one-lovers, kids, creativity, drama, or fun, if there is anger underneath anything it could come up to the surface to be dealt with so try to avoid confrontational people or dangerous places and lean into the passionate and motivating action side of Mars here.
