The DAILY ASTROLOGY Oct 2

The day before 5pm and the day after 5pm Eastern...so, Mercury is doing his thing today in Scorpio, bringing us into talks, short trips, sales, meetings, local activities, offers, or decisions that put us on the trail of the big changes going on, third party situations we are involved with, deeper understanding we are seeking, financial needs we are tackling, our sex life, reproductive life or divorce, or with mortality or birth. However, he is at odds with Mars in Leo and with Pluto in Aquarius, forming a T-Square that is ramping it all up in the first part of the day. This may create more friction, tension, frustration, action, passion, anger, issues with fire, sharp objects, weapons, the head, the blood, the arms, sexual organs/the reproductive part of the body, a sibling, neighbor, or vehicle, or with power, friends, groups, the internet, the air, or aspirations in the mix. On the upside, it is a harbinger of deep, active change and brings the ideas, talks or decisions that bring it or deal with it so if you are trying to overhaul something in your life it may get underway today or if you need this it may come your way!

Mercury's job in the T-Square peaks just before 5pm Eastern/2pm Pacific marking a bit of a turning point to all the crazy side of things and then Mars starts to work with Neptune. Since Neptune is in Mars's sign Aries it would seem to thread into all we have done or needed to do so far. This brings a more ardent, active flow to how we are getting into the mix and links it to our imagination, gets us inspired, or comes via our artistic talents, romantic side, spirituality, psychic abilities, research we do, or institutions we are involved with, and this is in flow.

Mercury will return later tonight in the story with news, talks, offers, or decisions that are now more in flow with our emotional needs or what is happening with family, at home, or our needs in real estate, renovations, moves, or with parents or roommates. Sweet. This is technically all that is happening today, but I do want to give you two heads up. Mars is continuing into tomorrow morning in his opposition to Pluto, perfecting this by 6:39am Eastern on Saturday, so there is still this major influence as we head to sleep tonight between us and another. Now that it is out of the peak of the T-Square it is really more about one-on-ones with others and these could go either way, although these energies are intense. Mars is pushing for the passion, action, reaction, or personal desire when it comes to love, the kids, creative ventures, dramas, entitlement issues, or fun, while Pluto is on the other side of this regarding the finances, power, control, sex, divorce, changes, or third parties, and what is going on with aspirations, freedoms, a group, friends, online, or about original projects in the mix.

The other heads up is that Venus is Stationed in the sky today and she is going Retrograde in the wee hours Saturday morning as well, Retrograding at 3:16am Eastern tomorrow. This can make today have this vibe that we are on the precipice of change with love or money, beauty or pleasure, our power, control, sex life, reproductive life, divorce, shared finances or outside financial influences, or third-party situations. We are to some extent since she shifts direction at that time tomorrow and we head into a do-over journey with here regarding these topics until the 25th and then with our one-on-one relationships in the second half of her Retrograde from the 25th until Nov 13th. So, if it feels like something is about to shift just hang in there, we'll talk a lot more about this tomorrow.
