The DAILY ASTROLOGY Oct 16

Mars and Saturn are harmonic today, an influence we should feel supporting our actions throughout our week ahead. Mars is about what we have going on with lovers, kids, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. It brings more passion, motivation, or activities. If angry with something here it can, under this influence, help us work through that as well. Saturn is about how we are mastering ourselves in the story, what is going on with our ambitions, the time and effort we are willing to commit to now, or how this is supported in some long-term way. Next, Venus Retrograde is active today, asking us to revisit something about love, income, a woman, beauty, or pleasure. This has the power to be transformational IF we are flexible about something tied to it. This involves news coming in, what is written, a talk, meeting, sale, short trip, local activity, or if there is anything with vehicles, siblings or neighbors in the mix, give and take! 

Next, we are now in Capricorn Moon energy, more goal-oriented, whether that is personal or professional, and more serious, ambitious, or dealing with authority. This is square to Neptune up until around 2pm Eastern/11am Pacific so we may not wish to be or do any of this until then because we are tired, lost in a fantasy, confused, or in other ways foggy. Perhaps we'd rather be into our artistic, romantic spiritual interests or perhaps we have to deal with institutions or research this morning, or for some a bit hung over, not feeling the best, or in other ways out of sorts. So, this should then lift once past the peak of it as we are pulled to more opportune energy with Venus Retrograde! So now we find our door opening with our do-over involving making something beautiful, the love in our life or lover, the kids, or that fun time we want to have, again with an ongoing or past situation and reworking of things or letting go in flow. 

Finally, it kinda looks like by the end of the day or into the wee hours the energy may mimic, a bit, how our day began with something testing us or perhaps feeling heavy, tired, or with a mindset of 'I'm done, so over it' kind of thing going on. So, perhaps early to bed is a good thing to lean into, we should get our spring in our step back tomorrow. A last note about this one, it's ok to be asked to look at how love and leadership or kindness and authority have played out together in our lives, especially if we were the ones in a place of authority. No harsh judgement, just a leaning into self-mastery with this combination as we take this by the hand between Feb 2026 and April of 2028.
