Mercury is still Retrograde as we enter the month but that ends on the 3rd at 4am eastern. Mercury goes Direct now and begins to move us forward through the Shadow, allowing us to talk, meet or decide things that we’ve been processing over the Retrograde. We move forward through Taurus first, now through the 13th, and during this time are talking or deciding things about income, purchases, possessions, products, the things we build, our pleasures, values, or about how we are being valued. Do note that until the 9th Mercury is getting off the degree it went Direct upon and is tied to the fix star Algol so we may have more of a tendency to ‘lose our heads’ over something, so stop, think, rethink once more, before lobbing into things until we get to the 9th when it comes to these topics. Then on the 13th Mercury heads into Gemini where the pace will quicken and we’ll be looking at both sides of the story in our talks, meetings, sales, writing, offers, or decisions. By the 18th we exit the Shadow of the Retrograde and are entering into new territory with these topics, leaving any slow-downs or past intrigues behind. It’s a month of Eclipses! Here we go!!! On June 5th we have a FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE in Sagittarius. This is considered 3 times more powerful than a typical Full Moon and is about endings, achievements, breakthroughs, finalizations, or celebrations focused on travel, legal, political, religious, distance, adventure, educational, media, marketing, philosophical, wedding, or ceremonial matters. Key Trigger Days for this Eclipse are: May 8th, May 31st, June 1st, JUNE 5th, June 9th, and July 3rd. So, look for something culminating one way or the other with these topics around these dates.

Mercury then begins his Retrograde in the sign Cancer on the 18th and will remain in Retrograde through July 12th. We enter the Pre-Shadow on June 2nd and won’t be out of the Post-Shadow until July 26th. So, we start to get an idea of what we will be slowing down on or rethinking, reviewing, releasing, rekindling, or reworking with our home, real estate deals, moves, renovations, parents, roommates, or family as soon as June 2nd and through the pre-shadow period. We then head into the Retrograde period where we are actually returning to the past to give something another shot or releasing something current or reworking our situation currently going on with our home, real estate deals, moves, renovations, family, parents, or roommates. Then, once the Retrograde ends on July 12th we will be moving ahead again but it will take a couple weeks to get past the stuff we’ve already been involved in as we move forward. Remember Mercury Retrogrades are a do-over and a chance to talk about things or revisit agreements, sales, writing, interviews, offers, or decisions about it. It can also involve siblings, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, short trips, moves, or local activities about it.

To emphasize this focus of the Mercury Retrograde, we have the Sun entering this territory of home, real estate deals, moves, renovations, family, parents, and roommates on the 20th for a 30 day tour and the NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE about these topics kicking off on the 21st. Wow! So, the Sun puts a spotlight on you and your interests with these matters and may involve your name or title, image or brand, body or physical involvement, or personal needs in the story. It’s a time to show up and get more personally or physically involved in these interests. The Solar Eclipse is 3 times for powerful than a typical New Moon and is about launching forward into something brand new or helping you to take a current situation into a new direction or next level. You may eclipse out what is over or blocking this forward momentum as part of the story but it really is about a new beginning in some way. Key Trigger Dates for this Eclipse are: May 24th, June 17th, JUNE 21st, June 25th, or July 19th. Do note that you have 2 weeks of momentum here starting on the 21st to initiate or respond to new or next level opportunities in the area of home, family, parents, roommates, moves, renovations, or real estate deals.

The great inspiration, the great deception, the veil between worlds, the magic, the spell, the artistic, romantic or spiritual, the secrets, hidden agendas or spying, the institutions, or the dreams. Neptune is about these surreal and strange other-worldly matters and he is shifting gears this month, kicking off a Retrograde on the 23rd that will last until November 28th. So, around this time of the shift you may notice a new direction opening up about art, romance, spirituality, institutions, secrets, investigations, rest and recuperation, dreams, or research. Things may slow down a bit or you may decide it’s time to review, revisit something past here or release something or rework an ongoing situation, getting it figured out by the end of November. The 23rd as this powerful outer energy shifts gears can bring all kinds of powerful dreams or signs from the universe, secrets to the surface or inspiration and imagination to bear. It’s not a good time to imbibe substances or alcohol or do something devious since it will likely come back on you in a powerful way up ahead. Overall, it’s a do-over that helps you figure this stuff out in the months ahead.

Venus began her Retrograde on May 13th and spends the bulk of June in Retrograde so you are still in the do-over phase with love, income or beauty needs and what is happening about it via talks, meetings, sales, writing, interviews, offers, short trips, local activities, siblings, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, or decisions until the 25th. At this point the Venus Retrograde ends and you shift gears, ready to move forward again, having figured out what was needed to be reworked, released or rekindled over the past weeks or being done with any slow-down it caused you.

Two very powerful stories get underway at the end of June so I’m going to tell you what I can about both. First, Mars is entering his own sign, Aries, for the first time in a couple years on the 27th. In his own sign he is the most powerful he ever is, which means everyone will be feeling more passion, motivation, courage, anger, fighting spirit, and activity than they have in some time. This is GO TIME, big time and Mars is not going to make this happen in his typical 6+ weeks through a sign but over the next 6+ months! This is due to his upcoming Retrograde Sept 9-Nov 13th which will slow him down and then take him back over degrees he had recently crossed moving forward. Mars will not exit Aries until Jan 6th, 2021! This is really bringing heat to the fire and getting everyone active based on ego needs, their bodies, image, brand, name, title, or involvement in situations. Aries is a Cardinal sign which means it initiates action and leads so, yeah, so much is going to happen now. Do be careful with fire as we may remember this period as the world ablaze and it would be nice if that was figurative, not literal.

Second, the 2nd Jupiter/Pluto conjunction occurs 3 days later on the 30th. The first conjunction was on April 4th, we are now at the mid-point or turning point with this powerful merger of energies and the new beginning it is giving everyone through it’s combination of Pluto: destruction, rebirth, power, control, financial matters, sexual interests, reproduction, divorce, birth, death, obsessions, underground matters, the criminal world, jealousy, manipulations, purging of things, transformational possibilities, and third-party situations, and Jupiter: travel, distant, foreign, global, educational, media, marketing, legal, wedding, religious, political, or philosophical interests, and personal growth, happiness or prosperity. Something is shifting gears, we get over a hump, turn a corner, and take the next step in this setting the stage for this new beginning. The final conjunction of these planets will happen on Nov 12th at which point we will be on our way.

One last heads up; Mars will start to square Pluto as soon as July 21st and will build in intensity with this frictional square through Aug 29th, so the world stage is going to heat up considerably as things come to a head here and in our own personal life it may be this period that really is about our greatest push for what it is we are trying to achieve or our great challenge to overcome.
