 Venus is moving into Libra on the 6th of August at 3:13pm Eastern and will be touring here until September 10th. Over these weeks ahead she will be doing her part to help us enjoy our relationships more. She rules this sign and so is quite comfortable here and she is bringing love or income flow (or both) to our one-on-one connections while here. Look for more balance, beauty, joy, pleasure, income, love, or fun with partners, clients, specialists, representatives, advocates, or the like. She may even help us smooth out issues with opponents. This is Venus on a more sophisticated level, leaning into higher esthetics. Enjoy!

Mercury heads into Leo on the 9th at 12:28pm and will be zipping through this sign over the next 2 weeks, exiting on the 25th. Mercury rules the things we are thinking and talking about, our meetings, sales, and writing, as well as our offers and decisions. In Leo we are going to feel a bit more entitled, royal or dramatic, but definitely wanting to lean into creative ideas, creative projects, love, lovers, kids, or recreational pursuits. So, meet about it, talk about it, field offers, sign agreements, write it up, sell it, make choices, here we go! It’s interesting to note that it’s been 12 years since Mercury got to do this in league with Jupiter, also in Leo. This means things could be quite optimistic, generous, expansive, prosperous, or happy as we go into them. It could also bring Jupiter themes into our talks, meetings, sales, writing, offers, or choices about kids, creative projects, fun, or true love. So, look at media, marketing, publishing, or broadcasting, any teaching or learning, travel or distant influences, legal contracts, ceremonies, or beliefs in the story.This is in orb for most of the transit but at its peak on the 15th.

That’s not all that is going on in Leo this month. We have a New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 12th at 20 degrees of Leo, kicking in at 1:37pm Eastern and in play for 2 weeks ahead! This is 3 times more powerful than a typical New Moon so expect very big potential around anything brand new or taking current interests into new opportunities, chapters or directions. Again, the focus is on true love, lovers, children, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. This can help us to 'eclipse' out whatever is in the way of moving forward into the new or next chapter, so, for example, we may need to eclipse out an old habit or way of being loving to move forward with true love or perhaps there is an old school level or building we are done with so it is eclipsed out to make way for new learning experiences, or we are eclipsing out the pitching of the creative project because during these 2 weeks we land a deal for them, you get the idea. What steps can we take to move the ball forward or pick up on something new?!

Mars moves into Cancer on the 11th at 4:30am Eastern and will tour this sign until September 27th. Now, Mars is not too keen on being in Cancer. He wants to make things happen, like yesterday, but Cancer says, ‘Well, hey bud, how do you feel about that?'. It’s like being propositioned by someone who is fired up and ardent and saying, “Oh, yeah, sure we can make out, but first I’m dropping you down at the bottom of the lake, I’ll wait for you on shore, run.’ Or something like that, Mars has to move through the emotions, the water energy, to get what he wants. So don’t get frustrated, there is still a whole lot we can accomplish and especially at home, with property, real estate deals, moves, or renovations, or with family, parents, or roommates. We should just take our time, ask how we are feeling about it, and then get it going. On the challenging side of Mars here we should be more careful with matches/fire on the home front, take care about explosive fights that pop off within the family or at home, and try not to be too accident prone here. On the positive, we are more passionate and emotional, so we might want to close the curtains and enjoy.

The Sun moves into Virgo on the 22nd for a 30-day tour. This puts a spotlight on the details in our life, it brings us more closely into what makes us healthy or not, what work we need to do or pursue, how we are showing up with or for co-workers or hired help, if we need to put our John Hancock on some paperwork or clear the clutter out. It can get us more active and involved with our animals as well. This is a good time to simplify, be of service to others or clean the stage around us. We should make an effort over these 4 weeks to really get in there and take care of these things as we have more vital life energy harnessed here. Mercury will join in, starting on the 25th at 7:04am Eastern and tour here until September 10th. This can help us with our ideas about work, health, animals, paperwork, hired help, or co- workers. It can bring more talks or meetings about it, more writing, agreements, offers, or sales about it. And it can get us busier locally or on short trips about it! Make the most of these two influences.

At 9:18pm Pacific on the 27th /12:18am Eastern on the 28th our Full Moon Lunar Eclipse comes to its climax. This is a very powerful culmination on the 4th degree of Pisces. Again, Eclipses are thought to be 3 times more powerful than a typical New or Full Moon and this one is a doozie! The Moon moves into Pisces at 3:04pm Eastern on the 27th and will begin to build so we may experience this peak any time after that on the 27th or on the 28th or both days. It is about big things ending, achieved or celebrated as the energy is at its zenith. The focus is on karmic cycles that are finally done, past life romance that is climaxing in some way, a film, the music, painting, or other artistic pursuit that is now at its height. It could be about something big going on with prayer, meditation, yoga, or other spiritual practices, or about signs and visions, dreams or psychic moments that are culminating. It could also be about a secret coming out, a hidden enemy, or deception that has reached its peak, or a bad habit, self- sabotaging tendency or addiction that is climaxing. It could involve big things occurring in or on the ocean, with chemicals, big pharma, or poisons. It could also be the end of a period of recuperation or rehabilitation, isolation or boundary issues, something with research, or an institution that is reached its peak. Whatever it is for you it can feel very powerful as things wrap up, come through, end, or are celebrated and achieved here. Do note that tied to this particular Full Moon Eclipse are squares from both the Moon and Sun to the planet Uranus so we may have some really unexpected or shocking news, a talk or decision tied to all of this in the mix. It is also interesting to note that this particular Eclipse is conjunct the fixed star Fomalhaut which is the royal star of the archangel Gabriel. It adds more power to the moment and may bring really big news as Gabriel is associated with being the messenger, and may involve a leader around this time, or focus on Israel since Gabriel is the guardian angel of Israel, or both. For our own influences this star is associated with success and profound spiritual insight so it’s going to be quite the end of the month!

Finally, we have a meet-up between Jupiter and Saturn on the last day of the month, the 31st, and it is harmonic! So, Jupiter is allowing us to find our flow through any legal, travel, distant, educational, media, marketing, publishing, ceremonial, religious, or political arenas tied to the kids, our love life, a lover, our creative projects, or recreational pursuits. Saturn is bringing solid, long-term, responsible, authoritative, or ambitious energy on a personal or physical level in the story. It can also help with good endings, structures that support, time or effort, and what is going on with us personally, on a physical level, with our name, title, image, brand, body, or needs in the story.
