The DAILY ASTROLOGY June 13th

THURSDAY JUNE 13th

Between 1970 and 1975 the U.S. was experiencing a progressed Grand Cross in their chart (tension/friction/activator) from their 1) progressed Venus (money) in the 2nd house (money) opposing their 2) Part of Fortune (fortune) in the 8th house (other people's money/outside financial resources/power/third-parties), squaring Chiron (a wound) in the 4th house (the end of all matters/foundations), and squaring their Saturn (authority and endings) in the 10th house (authority and goals/status).

By Transit they were going through their once every 50 year Chiron Return (wounds) in the 4th house (the end of all matters/foundations) while at the start of this period Saturn (authority and endings) was moving from the anorectic/critical 29th degree (powerful activator) of Taurus (money), and Pluto (death and rebirth/power/outside financial resources) was moving from the anorectic/critical 29th degree (powerful activator) of Virgo (details, services, the US ruler of leadership, status and goals), both locking onto the U.S. Pluto (outside financial resources, power, death/rebirth) in their second house of money. By the end of this period Saturn (authority and endings) had made his once every 29 year motion across the U.S. Venus (money) while Pluto (death and rebirth/power/outside financial resources) was squaring the U.S. Venus (money) from Libra (allies and open enemies).

So, is it any wonder that in 1971 the U.S. got off of the gold standard and by 1975 they had established the petrodollar? This meant our money was no longer backed by gold but was linked to petroleum sales (the world had to buy it with U.S. dollars) and Saudi Arabia. This same pact meant that Saudi Arabia would invest its surplus oil revenues in U. S. Treasury bonds in exchange for the U.S. protecting them via our military. This meant the U.S. now had oil and a market for its debt, making the dollar the world reserve currency. On June 9th this year that pact ended, and our paper money is now afloat, backed by neither gold nor petroleum. This as Pluto (outside financial resources, power, death/rebirth) spends 2024 back and forth over the anorectic critical 29th degree of Capricorn (authority/endings) in the U.S. second house of money, reactivating the alignment from the 1970’s between Saturn and Pluto at this degree to the U.S. Pluto. Chiron (the wound) is in its next Chiron Return for the U.S. by transit, back in the position it was when the pact was made. While progressed Saturn (endings/authority) is on top of the U.S. Mars (actions/warring scenarios) in the U. S. 7th house of allies and open enemies and in Gemini (agreements and decisions) and semi-sextiling the U.S. Part of Fortune (fortunes) in the 8th house of other people’s money/financial resources and power. On this day the Sun (personal needs/how we shine) and Venus (money) were squaring Saturn (authority and endings) conjunct the U.S. Mars (actions/warring scenarios) and the U.S. progressed Saturn (noted above). It will be interesting to see what occurs between Sept 1st and Nov 16th this year as Jupiter (big things happening/foreign interests/legal matters/politics/media) transits across this degree pattern. This same time period is the very last time in our lifetimes when Pluto (power, financial matters, death and rebirth) will be in Capricorn (authority, commitments and endings) in the U.S. 2nd house of money. I wrote this out for you guys today as we are in a Virgo Moon (details, work, health, animals, paperwork, hired help, and co-workers) in square to Mercury (information) and opposing Saturn (authority, endings and commitments). Expect to focus on something with as much detail and challenge today.
