The DAILY ASTROLOGY June 29

It's a really BIG day! We reach a peak point with something, feel the urge to slow down and start going back into the past/current scenarios for a do-over, and launch into one of the biggest growth cycles of joy we get in our lifetime! Here is how it breaks down: 1) The Moon is in Capricorn and is building to a Full Moon climax tonight, peaking by 7:57pm Eastern. Emotions run higher under this energy, and we are at the culmination of our personal goals, career interests, fame, status, reputation, or dealings with higher-ups such as a parent, boss, judge, mentor, or other such authority figure. So, at some point today we should see how far we've come via a big achievement, wrap up, breakthrough, ending, or celebration, depending on what we've been working towards or events outside our control. This is square Neptune as we build so there can be something hard to pinpoint on a personal or physical level or we could feel drained or it could be pushing us regarding our feelings of sadness, nostalgia, or where we are in a karmic cycle with a story. This Full Moon also squares Saturn which picks up from the point it culminates and runs through tomorrow morning at 7:51am Eastern, again pushing or testing us personally or physically in the mix. This one could be about our energy level or lack thereof or about the time and effort, commitments, responsibilities, or goals in the mix. The takeaway with this is we shouldn't push ourself too hard in the first 24 hours of this Full Moon, it is testing our reserve a bit one way or the other. Wrap it up, mark the ending, achieve goals, celebrate, but we should leave some wiggle room for ourselves! 2) At 1:36pm Eastern Mercury Retrogrades in Cancer. We will move from 26 degrees of the sign back to 16 degrees before it finally goes Direct again on July 23rd, then passing its Shadow phase by August 7th. Over these weeks we are in do-over mode. It's time to slow down and reassess some things regarding our emotional needs, early childhood, family, parent, or roommate, or it's time to reassess something about our home, move, renovations, or real estate deals. Could we go back to something past? Is there something unsaid, better said, agreed upon, or decided? Could we rework a current scenario? Is it time to take a break and allow things to simmer or catch up? Is it time to exit altogether or allow for someone/something else to exit? Is something broken that needs a new part or reconstruction? We have 3 1/2 weeks to figure it out. Keep an eye out for mix-ups, miscommunications or malfunctioning items tied to these themes, here we go! 3) At 10:52pm Pacific tonight/1:52am Eastern tomorrow in the wee hours of the morning Jupiter enters Leo. I'm putting it into today's list of things to watch for because you may very well feel it if you are up later tonight and technically it is getting underway for some of you. So, Jupiter is the planet of personal growth, our beliefs, our higher knowledge and wisdom, our generosity, travel, happiness, and prosperity, along with our media, politics, religion, and law. It is taking all of this into Leo where we are fierce, courageous, entitled, dramatic, and will be focusing it all on our love life/lover, children, recreational pursuits, and/or creative talents/projects over the year plus ahead. It is time to go big or go home as they say although we will need to watch out for being over the top or expanding too fast or past our ability to keep up. Otherwise, this year can bring all kinds of hope and good things with our love life, creative outlets, kids, and recreational pursuits if we lean into these matters. MONDAY we wake in Capricorn Moon energy and it is building to a Full Moon peak by 7:57pm Eastern. This means our day is more emotionally charged as we see our personal or professional goals cresting in some way or we see something big occurring with a our reputation, fame, status, or a parent, boss, mentor, or other authority figure. This is about how we’ve put in time and effort, been responsible, got real about endings or commitments, mastered certain things in life, or been ambitious over the past 6 months now coming to a peak. To that end we will likely experience big endings, achievements or celebrations around these themes today. This particular Full Moon is book-ended by squares from Neptune and Saturn, both in Aries, so we may be seeing something test us a bit on a personal or physical level regarding karmic cycles in the mix or we may be pushing ourselves harder on a personal or physical level as this thing climaxes. In the midst of all of this, and no lessor a thing today, we have Mercury Retrograde kicking in at 1:36pm Eastern. Oy! So, we are now slowing down a bit to reassess where we are, what we want, and what is possible with our home, any moves, renovations, or real estate deals, with our parents, history, ancestry, or family, or with roommates, foundations, or emotional needs. Back to the past we go to either review, rekindle, release, or rework something ongoing or we can also reassess the current scenarios here. Retrogrades are notorious for bringing mix-ups, miscommunications or malfunctioning electronics/mechanicals tied to the themes of the sign it is in so we need to double check facts and figures, take our time figuring out any agreements, be cognizant of the issues on the property or with family, and take our time with our feelings about things. It is a DO-OVER! What stays, what goes, what can be reworked? We have from now until Mercury goes Direct on July 23rd at 6:58pm Eastern.

MONDAY/TUESDAY depending on your time zone, JUPITER is entering Leo. So, this kicks in at 10:52pm Pacific on MONDAY night/1:52am Eastern on TUESDAY morning. Either way, when we wake on TUESDAY we are in Jupiter in Leo mode. So, think back, Jupiter last toured Leo July 2014-Aug 2015. Times before where Jupiter toured Leo were Aug 2002-Aug 2003, Aug 1990-Sept 1991, Sept 1978-Sept 1979, and Sept 1966-Oct 1967. You may see a pattern of growth in areas associated with children, true love/lovers, creative ventures, recreational pursuits, or a really big drama or two. Over the year ahead, until July 26, 2027, we will be experiencing more of this type of thing. Jupiter asks us, ‘Are we happy?’, ‘Are we prosperous?’ and ‘Can we take this thing bigger?’ in these areas of life. We may see Jupiter themes enter the story as ways to get there. So we may travel more towards the big things going on with kids, lovers, creativity, or fun. We may experience long-distance scenarios about it. Foreign interests or import/export may play a part. We may focus more on the media, marketing, publishing, or broadcasting side of the story, or lean into higher education whether that means we are furthering our own education or teaching or sharing our wisdom. We may see more going on with graduations, weddings, or other ceremonies in the mix, or we may find our religious, philosophical or political interests are charging up the big stories with lovers, kids, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. So, pay attention to the past timeframes for clues and pay attention to what is starting to come on board for these opportunities in the weeks and months ahead. WEDNESDAY both Mercury Retrograde and Jupiter are engaging us in conversations, offers, sales, writing, or decisions up until around 5pm Eastern so we should be able to get into one-on-ones with others in big ways in these realms. Mercury Retrograde brings the do-over side to things going on at home, with moves, renovations, real estate deals, parents, roommates, or family into the story, while Jupiter brings the big things with creative ventures, lovers, kids, or recreational pursuits into it. Aquarius Moon kicks in at 3:33pm Eastern and will then move into a trine with both Mars and Uranus in Gemini. So, we should feel more social or like pursuing original projects, online interests, astrology, charities, or causes. This brings more motivation and action, along with surprises or new ways of approaching things through talks, news, meetings, sales, offers, or decisions in the mix. Pay attention to what comes up in this second part of the day since it is tied closely to the Friday/Saturday energy.

THURSDAY, besides asking for a bit of give and take on a personal or physical level at home or with family, we are in flow with our Aquarius Moon energy. Again, we can lean into friends, groups, online pursuits, astrology, charities, or gatherings. This can be deeper or focused on the things we are digging into or changing, and it brings us into flow when it comes to our own needs or involvement. FRIDAY does not bring a straight line to things so plan on the day not going exactly as you planned and going with the flow where you can. There is something special going on one-on-one with another regarding true love, the kids, a creative endeavor, money, or recreational pursuit, and this kicks in early in the day. Mars is moving to cojoin Uranus at 11:08pm Pacific tonight/tomorrow morning at 2:08am Eastern so we are likely to pick up on this today in the build-up as well as experience it on SATURDAY as it perfects. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was from the summer of 1941 to the summer of 1949 giving the collective (Uranus) the upheaval of WWII. By the Fall of 1943 Mars had moved to conjoin Uranus here and we were full tilt into combative forces with Italy and Japan, with the two planets together making decisions involving the collective, shock and awe, sudden changes, groups of people (Uranus), and war, violence, and our actions/reactions (Mars). If we go back to the Uranus in Gemini cycle before this one, we find ourselves in the summer of 1858 through the winter of 1866 with the first Mars/Uranus conjunction here in the Spring of 1859 and of course it did its thing again with the Civil War. Going back to the Gemini in Uranus cycle before that one we find it commenced in the Summer of 1774 until the Spring of 1782, with Mars conjoining Uranus here the first time in June 1774 and of course we had the Revolutionary War in its wake. Why is this combo so significant in the United States chart? Because Gemini rules the US house of allies and open enemies. As we head into our celebrations of the country’s 250th birthday starting today we are heading straight into the first spark of this configuration again. Something kicks up a notch now and we will see where this takes us over the course of Uranus in Gemini between now and May, 2033 but during this first activation of Mars, we watch now through mid-July while Mars traverses Gemini. To that end do be careful out and about, around fire, fireworks, weapons, sharp objects, electricity, groups of people, the military, police, angry folks, and/or out on the road. Now for the positive side of this configuration, Mars sparks our passions, motivates action and helps us make things happen, while Uranus is genius, visionary, social, and about changes. Together in Gemini we are now moving into this with a focus on our ideas, writing, sales, talks, offers, and decisions. We may find all kinds of interesting things opening up to us in the future based on what we come up with now.

SATURDAY we are in our first full day of the Mars/Uranus conjunction so everything I wrote for Friday is also in play today. The Pisces Moon is square both Mars and Uranus early today so we may be somewhat in a fog or we may feel lost, drunk, impaired, strange, drained, or sad in the morning today. This could be a case of something hidden coming to light or something nostalgic that tugs on our hearts, or something vast with the oceans, but most likely is us paying the price for too much ‘celebration’ the night before, easy does it. I think we should feel this lift a bit as we reach the afternoon. Mars is also moving to active the planet Neptune today, perfecting by 8:44pm Eastern. This is an opportunity to bring the imagination, inspiration, karmic balance, or anything artistic, romantic, or spiritual into the story through opportunities that open up. Happy Birthday to the United States of America, you are a glorious experiment in humanity!

SUNDAY the solar energy is harmonious giving us more potential at home or with family or around patriotic interests. Mars meets with Pluto in the morning. This is harmonious and should bring powerful moments with friends, groups, gatherings, or celebrations and the things we are doing locally or through short trips, with writing, speeches, talks, or meetings, our sales, offers, or decisions, or with siblings, neighbors, or our moves. For those who move in the Darkness and would harness this dark combination of energy, may the path before you be tamped by the prayers of the Light, that no harm comes and no fowl thing is set in play. MONDAY. Uranus moves into Gemini, the first time in this sign since last touring here between 1941-1949. Uranus brings a shake-up, a reinvention, more excitement, more shocking moments, more sudden changes, more genius, and reinvention into the sign that rules the mind, our communities, our talks, meetings, and sales, our writing, what we do with siblings, neighbors, or moves, our short trips or transportations, and where we are diplomatic or dualistic. Get ready for a wild ride! Friends, groups or gatherings may play into it, the collective, rebellion or revolution may play into it, and we are now in the year of preview with this energy from today through November 7th. It will then return next year towards the end of April 2026 and stay until May of 2033. Pay attention to where you are being called or with what is happening around you at the first of the week and again between Friday and Sunday when Uranus gets active for clues about where it is to start for you. Venus is active today and in a good mood so she may bring news or decisions about love or money, beauty or pleasure, that are powerful. There may also be news, talks or decisions involving the kids, lover, creative project, or recreational pursuit that are in flow.

TUESDAY we want to be flexible when it comes to travel plans or situations brewing at a distance. There can also be a need for give and take regarding a wedding, graduation or other ceremony, any legal or educational interests, or the media or marketing needs of the day. 

WEDNESDAY we continue doing our part to stay malleable in situations but today it hinges more on personal goals, a parent, boss or other authority figure or a career related need. If we can keep our cool and go with whatever transpires up until around 4pm Eastern the day should then turn a corner and ease up quite a bit. We are officially building to the Full Moon climax tomorrow as soon as we get up this morning so emotions do run a bit higher today as we get closer to that peak experience.

THURSDAY the Full Moon in Capricorn culminates around 4:37pm Eastern so we should have reached that goal, wrapped that project, marked any endings, or head into that celebration by then. Again it is about personal goals or ambitions, status, fame or reputation, the career, or a boss, parent, judge, mentor, or other such authority figure where we see these climactic moments. Mars is proactive and helpful in making things happen via hired help, co-workers, cleaning, organizing, the work itself, any health needs, or what’s going on with the animals in the story as we build to the Full Moon peak. FRIDAY looks like one of those great days to socialize, spend time with friends, get online and connect, join or attend a group function, or head out to the party. Of course, that doesn’t mean there can’t be a crazy scenario out there what with the new Uranus in Gemini energy and how we are all feeling out how to resonate with it, but overall, for most this looks promising.

SATURDAY we are still focused on our friends, groups, online interests, or aspirations but today it threads in and out with love or money, beauty or pleasure, in flow, sweet! Mars is asking for some give and take today at some point so expect some quick fix-up or work around regarding work, health or animals, or the people you hire, work with or sign documents with today. Saturn is stopped in the astrological sky readying to Retrograde so we may feel like there is something quite serious going on with us on a personal or physical level today as we feel the energy build to this shift.

SUNDAY  at 12:07am Eastern (that’s Saturday night at 9:07pm Pacific time) Saturn Retrogrades. We’ve been moving forward with lots of tests, ambitions, or serious personal or physical matters, with Saturn in Aries since May 25th this year and now with the Retrograde kicking in we can slow down a bit, catch up with whatever has transpired and figure out where we might need to refine, release or rework something. Saturn will give us until Sept 1st in Aries before taking the Retrograde back into Pisces to finish off so use this Aries period to readdress any commitments, endings, supportive structures, time, or ambitions regarding what you are passionate about, angry about, motivated about, or what is going on with who you are, your name, title, brand, image, body, or personal needs. We have two periods where we can take advantage of the New Moon’s power to move things forward for us this month. The first 10 days are still in Cancer New Moon and therefore can help us launch into something new or take our current interests forward in new directions regarding our home or a move, any renovations or real estate deals, or with a parent, roommate, our history, or the family. Then, starting on the 24th and over the last 8 days of the month we have New Moon energy in Leo. This can help us launch forward with our love life or something with a lover, a creative endeavor or recreational pursuit, something with a child or for children, or anything tackling dramas or entitlements. This Leo New Moon is really interesting because the Sun will have moved into Leo on the 22nd for a 30-day tour, giving us more personal draw or physical involvement in these themes, while Mercury will start his Retrograde in Leo at 12:45am Eastern on the 18th and be in Retrograde through August 11th. This slows us down a bit, brings the past back around, allows for a do-over with past or current situations, or any exits that need to take place with lovers, kids, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. So, expect the second part of July to get really interesting in these realms as we move forward while in a do-over.

Venus will spend much of the month in the sign Gemini. Entering this sign at 11:31am Eastern on the 4th and remaining here until 11:57pm Eastern on the 30th. Here she brings a focus on the love or money, or on beauty or pleasure. In Gemini she likes to balance at least 2 things at once, talk about it, get out there locally about it, write about it, make the sales, flirt, look at both sides of a story, debate it, perhaps move regarding it, involve siblings or neighbors, or the transportation involved. So, we may find lots more going on nearby or on these short trips or moves about true love or income interests, or we may hear from someone, run into them out and about, or make that sale regarding her interests this month. Although this is overall a very lovely influence, do note that between the 20th and 23rd this month Venus will move into a frictional T-Square as she squares Mars and the Karmic South Node in Virgo and the North Node of Destiny in Pisces. On the one hand it may bring some fated love or money scenario into play but on the other it could spark anger and loss so do be careful with these handful of days. It would seem that work, health or animal matters may play into it or something about criticism, the people we work with or hire, or paperwork could play a part. At the core of this moment is a decision to fall back into what has always been there but perhaps has been outgrown in some way or to leap into the new.

Now for the biggest news of the month, Uranus moves into Gemini on the 7th for the first time since last touring here between 1941-1949. So, while Venus is doing her part to smooth things out or attract the love, money, beauty, or pleasure to this Gemini field, Uranus is now arrived to shake things up, bring more excitement and spontaneity, involve friends, groups, or gatherings, shake us out of ruts or shock us, bring sudden changes, involve big tech, AI, the internet, or revolutionary moments. Again, this plays out locally or on short trips or moves, with siblings or neighbors, with ideas, talks, meetings, sales, or writing, in agreements, negotiations, interviews, or auditions, or with offers or decisions. Uranus gives us a preview this year, moving through Gemini from July 7th until November 7th, then returns next year on April 26th and stays until May 22, 2033. So, we’ll be working with this new energy combination for some time up ahead. Pay attention to what changes, gets more exciting, brings genius into your life, suddenly or unexpectedly exits, or helps you awaken during this first 4-month preview since you’ll then have lots going on here starting next April and over the following 7 years. And do keep in mind, Uranus is like lightning, it strikes quickly and out of the blue and then is gone so if you get a genius idea, an out of the blue offer, or come up with a new invention make sure to write it down or take action on it if it is something that feels right for you since it may be lost in the ongoing movement if you don’t. The same goes for opportunities that may arise locally or in nearby places, through moves or neighbors or siblings, or with your writing, sales or agreements.

The Moon moves into Capricorn in the morning of the 9th and will culminate in a Capricorn Full Moon here by 4:37pm Eastern on the 10th. So, these 2 days we will feel things building to a crescendo around personal goals, achievements, career matters, reputation, fame, or status, or with a boss, parent, judge, mentor, teacher, director, or other such authority figure. Things are wrapping up or ending here or they are achieved, celebrated or recognized as we reach the height of the energy for the year. Do note that this Full Moon is blessed with opportunities involving the work, health or animal needs in the mix or with paperwork, co-workers or hired help on board, as well as with what is going on with income, purchases, products, or possessions in the story, so aim high!

Saturn and Neptune have been taking us on a new journey through the sign Aries over the past few months, bringing more personal or physical tests, asking us to master some new level of proficiency, focusing on what we really are becoming in a new chapter of life as a person, asking us to dream big but be real about what steps those dreams require to make them a reality, and more or less pushing us in ways we’ve not really been used to at all. So, in the month of July both planets will Retrograde and some of this will ease. Chiron has been touring Aries for years and at the end of July it will also Retrograde, easing up on the changes and allowing us to go back over things to reassess. The Retrograde periods will allow us to take a breather, go back and look at what all has transpired, fix or finesse and fine-tune things, and ready ourselves for the next round when they go Direct again. Neptune Retrogrades on July 4th at 5:34pm Eastern and will be in Retrograde motion in this sign until Oct 22nd. During this period we should look at where we are artistically, spiritually or romantically on a personal or physical level, how our psychic abilities have been enhanced, our dreams more significant or magical moments have been playing out, where we are with bad habits, addictions, secrets, or deceptions, if we still need to have anything done at a hospital or other institution, where we are with recuperative needs, or if there is any research we could go back over regarding our body, image, brand, name, title, or needs. Saturn will Retrograde at 12:07am Eastern on the 13th and remain in Retrograde through Aries until Sept 1st. Take this time to go inward, focus on your own needs via commitments, things that have ended, structures that do or do not support and what you want to do about them, rules or regulations, how a boss, parent or other authority figure has recently impacted who you are now going to be, or any ambitions you have seen shift and what you can reassess here. Again, look at where you are physically or with your name, title, image, brand, or identity and what you would like to do about any of it over this period ahead. Also, take a look at rekindling or releasing any passions, working on any old angers, and looking at how your actions have led you to where you are and what you would like to rework, release or rekindle now about it. And finally, Chiron Retrogrades on the 30th at 10:42am Eastern and will be in Retrograde until 9:38am Eastern on January 2nd, 2026. This gives us time to catch up on old wounds or vulnerabilities and get better closure, release, rework, or retrieve something in our do-over here on a personal or physical level.

Venus heads into Cancer at 11:57pm Eastern on the 30th where she will now tour until Aug 25th. So, we won’t get a lot of time with her this month, pretty much experiencing her on the 31st, but she is going to really hone in on her interests in Cancer for most of August so we should note what she brings late on the 30th or into the 31st. Venus is about love or money, beauty or pleasure and she wants to smooth things out, attract this good stuff and enjoy herself so in Cancer it will be about the home or family, emotional interests, history, antiques, or ancestry, any real estate deals, moves, or renovations, or the parents or roommates. It should be a lovely influence where we can lean into the love in these areas or attract the income we need, beautify our spaces or bring beautiful objects into the home, and just enjoy ourselves more here.

The Sagittarius moon is square to both Saturn and Neptune today until 7pm Eastern/4pm Pacific so this part of the day is about pushing ourselves harder or dealing with tests when it comes to our growth, happiness or prosperity. This may involve what is going on at institutions, with artistry, our spirituality, our romantic life, retreat, water, boundaries, or with rest or research. In the midst of this energy, we have Mercury sextiling Mars at 12:28pm Eastern/9:28am Pacific which opens up an opportunity to hear news, get invitations, talk, write, meet, take a short trip, or make decisions that are tied to action in an opportune way. This is focused on home, moves, family, emotional needs, real estate deals, parents, roommates, renovations, or history and what is going on with purchases, possessions, income, or products. Doors open. At 7:08pm Eastern/4:08pm Pacific the Moon moves into Capricorn where it immediately gets a boost of energy building up to its Full Moon peak 2 hours later at 9:08pm Eastern/6:08pm Pacific. At this point we are hitting a climactic peak with or about a partner, client, specialist, representative, opponent, competitor, advocate, or other key relationship or something is culminating around balance, justice, or higher esthetics in our lives. It's time for wrap-ups, breakthroughs, endings, achievements, or celebrations as the energy hits its highpoint at 1 degrees of Capricorn. Next month, on July 21st, we will have a rare 2nd Full Moon in Capricorn, at that time at the 29th degree, so if you don't quite reach what you want at this one do note that a second opportunity or second chapter to this story will reach its zenith then. So, on the one hand, the Sun is in square to Neptune while the Moon is in square to Saturn, both Neptune and Saturn in Pisces, so part of the day pushes or tests us physically, personally and/or emotionally regarding a short trip, our writing, an interview, a talk, meeting, sale, something big or over the top, legal, political, educational, media, ceremonial, distant, religious, or regarding a sibling, neighbor, vehicle, or electronic. There could be something unseen in the mix or we could be tired or drained, or someone could be hard to reach, or it could involve an authority figure, institution, addiction, or the research in the story, or tip around an artistic, romantic, or spiritual need. Lord get us past these freaking squares! On the other hand, by 4:51pm Eastern the Sun then moves into Cancer where it will flow with all of this stuff and turn our attention to the home, family, emotional needs, or a move, renovation, real estate deal, parent, or roommate. Here we are showing up and involved regarding our own needs, and here we shine. The Sun will now tour Cancer over the next 30 days, bringing some special blessings our way.
