Today is the biggest energy day of the month and it decided to start for me and James at 2:45am Eastern, waking us both up at nearly the same time, wiring, firing and then getting us up as the first of the energies began to move in the astrological sky. Next thing you know I was on my computer, he was making coffee, our animals were looking confused about it all, and so the day began, lol. Hope you guys got some sleep.
So, it's a big day for a few reasons; we have Venus and Mercury changing signs, we have Uranus beginning his Retrograde, and we have a New Moon in Virgo kicking in, all under the days umbrella. First, Venus moved into Scorpio at 4:07am Eastern and will now tour this sign in forward motion until Oct 3rd, in do-over Retrograde motion Oct 3-25, then take a break from Scorpio while Venus Retrogrades through Libra Oct 25-Nov 13th and then goes Direct Nov 13-Dec 4th through Libra. Venus then returns back to Scorpio in Direct motion Dec 4th, passing the Shadow of her Retrograde Dec 15th, and finally exiting Scorpio Jan 7th next year. During this time forward, backward and forward again in Scorpio we can get back to the intimacy and sexuality involved in our love life or release issues we are having here, we can go deeper into the changes and evolving story with our love life or lover, we can look into what is going on with loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, insurance, alimony, child support, a partner's money, or other financial matters as it pertains to our income, beautiful objects, how we are beautifying our life, or our enjoyment in life. It can also bring a period to go into do-over about any reproductive, divorce, or third-party matters, jealousy, possessiveness or obsessions, and look at how that is impacting love, money, beauty, or pleasures in our life. If we are having issues with any of the above it can be time to rework, release or revise things. Next, Mercury moves into Libra at 12:21pm Eastern today and will tour this sign until the 30th of the month. This can bring a more even-keeled, balanced time with the things we are thinking about, the way we are communicating, our choices in life, and our decisions about them. It is a window of time where we can talk, meet, look at writing, agreements, sales, offers, or decisions that involve a partner, the clients, a specialist, our attorneys or agents, competitors or opponents, or advocates, as we get in there one-on-one with others.
Next, Uranus Retrogrades at 2:27pm Eastern and will be taking us back over old territory through the sign Gemini with his energy now through Feb 8th. Uranus first entered Gemini for a preview last year, July 7-Nov 8, and then for the real transit through the sign starting back on April 26th this year to now tour here until May 22, 2033. Uranus in Gemini has been trying to shake us out of ruts, get us to think about things from a different perspective, bring out genius or inventiveness with our ideas, introduce new approaches to our choices in life, shake things up locally, through moves, or on short trips, bring some excitement or change involving our brothers, sisters, neighbors, or vehicles, strike a chord with original projects, our writing, interviews, auditions, proposals, or decisions, and more or less be the lightning strike that allows for something new to take root through the news we hear, our talks, meetings, or decisions in play during its 8 year tour of this sign (something that only occurs once every 84 years). So, during the Retrograde we can go back over what has occurred so far, revisit it, rework what needs attention, release what has run its course, and/or reassess things so we are ready to move forward again into what comes next starting next Feb 8th.
Finally, the Virgo New Moon kicks in tonight at 11:27pm Eastern and will open up 2 weeks of cosmic boost that can help us start something new or take current interests into that next chapter or new direction. The focus is on 1) our work; this can be a new job, the next level in a current job, a gig we are picking up on the side, work projects at home, what is going on with co-workers, or hired help, or any paperwork we are tending to now. 2) our health; 2 weeks to kickstart a new health regime, see improvements on health, take health in a new direction via new food choices, new workouts, new doctors, or new choices made by other healthcare professionals. 3) our animals; it could be a great time to adopt a pet, get into a new regime with the animals we already have, become involved with animal rescue, or start an animal charity. 4) our daily routine; getting organized, going holistic, organic, simplifying our life, or cleaning. 5) Services; we could seek out new services that could enhance our daily life, find new ways to be of service to others, or get some new approach or idea in motion regarding the services we already utilize.
