The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 20th

Talk about 2 different things going on, today it's a bit extreme. On the one hand, we have a Moon/Mars conjunction in Capricorn which is all about getting motivated and active regarding a goal and making things happen. We should be busy, feel directed, in tune emotionally with the things we want to make happen and going for it. On the other hand, the Sun and Venus are active today from Sagittarius and they are, respectively, both in square to Neptune and Saturn in Pisces, ugh. So, we might be feeling the nostalgia or sadness around how different this Holiday season really is or there could be some boundary or drain going on regarding our adventure into the day. It could be we are really at the end of our rope with secrets and deceptions or if we head out to celebrate we could have to contend with someone or our own issues with alcohol or drugs. We could arrive with an open heart only to find someone is sick and can't participate as we had hoped. It could be we just really want to sleep or are surprised by how our energy is drained throughout the day or it could be there is something about a romance that is coming to the surface with issues to overcome. We could find our generosity of spirit is met with withdrawal and that could have nothing at all to do with us but is just a general reaction to this energy and the need to isolate, get space or rest. You know, I could give a ton of examples here but let's suffice it to say that there is just this really vigorous impulse to move, make things happen and express passions today that will have to do so overlapped by this malaise and so we'll want to try not to take it personally and pace ourselves. With Venus involved, especially this evening, it could feel as though love is cut off or shut down or the desire for pleasure and enjoyment is just out of reach. Again, not personal, just a wall in the flow of energy that could be rowed around but most likely will just delay gratification for a bit. Just a heads up, Venus struggles now for a bit, until she gets past these squares to Neptune and Saturn and moves into Capricorn late Wednesday morning, then her spirit lifts, the doors open up, and she gets her stride back.
