The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 11th

Mercury crowns the day today so expect a day of short trips or local activities, more talks, meetings, writing, or sales, or more going on with ideas, flirtations, moves, vehicles, neighbors, or siblings. Now, in the first part of the day Mercury is active in Scorpio and forming a harmonic flow with Neptune in Pisces. Mercury first made this alignment back on Oct 28th/29th, then hit it again in do-over mode during the Mercury Retrograde on Nov 19th, and here we are at the final alignment in forward motion today. So, there is this strong emotional tow behind our words and decisions and things should come together regarding financial, intimate, imaginative, third party, institutional, research, artistic, romantic, or spiritual interests, and tie back into that story thread that began Oct 28th/29th. This is a great alignment for writers and idea people out there and the muse or for expressing romantic ideals or for having messages or insights from a higher source come through or for coming up with the right information through digging into that research, or around getting news from a hospital or other institution, working out jealousy, possessiveness, or any major changes going on intimately, or meeting with an institution about a financial need, you get the idea, look at the combinations.

Then, at 5:40pm Eastern Mercury moves into Sagittarius where he will tour until Jan 1st. So, think back to Oct 29th. Mercury first entered Sagittarius this year on that day, and we all began the journey through talks, news, meetings, sales, writing, offers, and decisions that focused on legal needs, travel plans, distant situations, media or marketing pursuits, ceremonies, our happiness, prosperity, or growth, or our religious, political, or philosophical ideals. But Mercury just got started speaking up or making choices around these topics when his Retrograde began on Nov 9th and backed through Sagittarius from the 9th through the 18th of that month. We had to reassess or slow down or you get into do-over modality with these topics. This means that today through Dec 17th we are again moving forward and through the Shadow (the degrees we had to backtrack over) and get to have another go at these themes. We will then exit the Shadow on the 17th and finish up our tour of Sagittarius with fresh, new options with these matters until Jan 1st. I'm thinking Friday and Saturday will be the big days for the second chance with these topics in the Shadow phase, but we'll see.

Finally, Virgo Moon is square the Sun until 3:52pm Eastern and then moves into an opportunity alignment with Jupiter for the rest of the day. This means we are  emotionally driven to get the work done, to clean or organize, to focus on health or animals, or what's going on with co-workers or hired help but in the first part of the day it may be at odds with the big plans we have or our travel needs, distant situations, legal agreements, media interests, educational pursuits, ceremonies, religion, or politics. Once past the square to the Sun we should then find flow not only with these topics but with what is going on at home, with a move, renovation, or real estate deal, or with family, emotional needs, parents, or roommates in the mix. So, that seems like a lot but just divide the day into two categories of conversation or choices and hit the ground running!
