I think this week is going to be about how we feel about our artistic interests, romantic entanglements, spiritual interests, institutions, or research needs, or it may steer us near issues such as addictions, bad habits, deceptions, boundary issues, secrets, water or chemical issues, or karmic matters. Here’s how it breaks down. First, Mercury Retrograded in this territory the day before the week begins so we are in our first full week of rethinking these topics, going back to the past to rekindle something or exiting a current situation or reworking an ongoing scenario to get it right. The breakdowns, mix-ups or miscommunications associated with Mercury Retrograde are keeping us on our toes about it as we go. 

On MONDAY the Sage Moon squares Neptune, ruler of the territory and topics that Mercury is revisiting, pushing us to deal with our physical involvement in the situation or with personal needs, or with what is going on with our body, image, brand, name, title, or interests in any travel scenarios, distant situations, educational pursuits, media ventures, legal needs, ceremonies, religious experience, or political agendas in the mix.

By TUESDAY the Sun heads into this territory of artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, addictive, deceptive, secretive, investigational, or research interests where he will now travel for the next 30 days. This spotlights us and again asks us to show up, make it personal or about our body, image, brand, name, title, or involvement in these matters. Mars, newly into Capricorn, meets with the Moon today so we also feel lots of motivation to do something about our personal goals, career needs or a boss, parent, director, judge, mentor, or other authority figure.

WEDNESDAY the Moon meets with Jupiter and Pluto here to again address personal goals, career or authority figures, but now about growth opportunities or those travel, legal, educational, media, marketing, ceremonial, religious, or political needs, as well as the financial, sexual, divorce, mortality, or third-party equation in the mix. The Moon also sextiles Neptune, opening a door of opportunity between these goals, career interests or authority figures and the artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, investigational, or research needs.

THURSDAY Mars is again active about personal goals, career interests or authority figures and this has two parts. First, he fires you up as he squares Chiron which brings up vulnerabilities or wounds of a personal or physical nature in the mix. Second, he then connects with Uranus for something possible with income, purchases, possessions, or products and your original projects, friends, groups, the internet, astrology, charities, or gatherings. At the same time, Jupiter is meeting with Neptune for a very big alignment that is bringing the background story into it’s next chapter of opportunity, again with personal goals, career or authority figures and the travel, educational, distant, media, marketing, legal, ceremonial, religious, or political interests, and with the artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, research, or investigational interests. As the Moon heads into Aquarius it may give you some ‘off’ energy with a friend, group, the internet, or gatherings as it pertains to your income, purchases, possessions, or products, but, this moves into much better alignment tomorrow.

FRIDAY the Mars energy may continue to fire you up to make things happen with the goals, career or authority figures and what is possible with income, purchases or possessions, it is still in an opportunity alignment. And, as I noted, things should feel a lot better today with friends, groups, the internet, astrology, charities, gatherings, or aspirations, especially where love, income or beauty are concerned.

SATURDAY then brings the Sun in Pisces into alignment with Uranus in Taurus so we are showing up and getting physically involved or it is about our personal interests, body, brand, name, title, or desires when it comes to those artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, addictive, secretive, deceptive, investigational, or research matters, and how this flows with income, purchases, possessions, or products and our friends, groups, gatherings, or online interests. This is an opportunity so it should be open.

SUNDAY is then the New Moon in Pisces so we get a cosmic boost to move into something new or take current interests into that next chapter for the next 2 weeks and again the focus is on art, film, music, poetry, painting, concerts, theater, dance, romance, prayer, mediation, yoga, magic, psychic abilities, spas, retreats, hospitals, other institutions, addictions, bad habits, secrets, deceptions, water or chemical issues, investigations, or the research. Flanking either side of this New Moon are opportunities to income, purchases, possessions, or products and the friends, groups, internet, astrology, charities, or gatherings, and to what you do about the goals, career or authority figure in the mix. Venus is heading into Libra on the 6th where she’ll tour the rest of the month so we will turn to partners, clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, competitors, or other key relationships when looking for love or income, pleasure or beauty, or focusing on women, ways to smooth things out or attract the good stuff in life, sweet. You may want to note that August gives us forward motion with these relationships over Venus themes but she will enter her Shadow phase with them in the first 9 days of September and then return to these people for her do-over in her retrograde Oct 31-Nov 16 so pace yourself, we move ahead now, then slow down, review, release, rekindle, or rework up ahead. 

Uranus is going to kick off his Retrograde this month on the 7th, taking us back over the degrees he has introduced us to in Taurus between now and Nov 6th. He will then back out of Taurus until next March. So, this is about us getting a bit of a breather from any of the erratic ups and downs that have been impacting income, purchases, possessions, or products, as well as giving us a do-over phase if we are ready to exit something here, return to a past interest or rework an ongoing one. Look for sudden shake-ups or exciting opportunities as the energy shifts gears today.

We have a New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 11th in Leo. This means we are getting a rather powerful boost forward into something brand new or helping us move current situations into that next chapter over these next 2 weeks and the focus is on lovers, kids, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. You may find you can now eclipse out what is blocking forward movement as well. Keep in mind that Mercury is still in Retrograde motion about these matters as this begins so past people, issues, opportunities, and situations are part of the story at present and you may wish to make final decisions until after this is over on the 19th when Mercury goes Direct. At this point you can be in total forward movement and bring along that past or ongoing scenario in it’s new incarnation or start something totally different. Do guard against mix-ups, miscommunications or malfunctioning equipment on the day Mercury goes Direct.

Up until the 12th of the month Mars is Retrograding in Aquarius so we may also be going back to past friends, groups, online interests, astrology, charities, gatherings, or aspirations during this period to motivate about something or work out a passion or anger issue. We may also be reworking something ongoing or seeing some exiting in current scenarios. 

Then on the 12th Mars takes his Retrograde into Capricorn so at this point we shift our focus to past personal goals, our career, fame, reputation, status, leadership abilities, or dealings with authority types like a boss, parent, director, teacher, judge, or mentor. From now through the 27th Mars is giving us a do-over here. Again, we may revisit past people, issues, opportunities, or ideas to rekindle, release or rework things regarding our actions, passions or anger. We may revisit something ongoing for the same purpose or we may see someone exiting the stage for the duration of the Retrograde or for good so keep it loose. Once Mars goes Direct on the 27th we’ll be ready to start moving whatever we figured out forward again.

The last week of August may start to get us more interested in showing up to do or pursue the work, to organize and tend to the details, to focus on our health or animals, to sign paperwork, or to get busy with co-workers or hired help. The Sun is heading into this territory on the 23rd for a 30-day cycle and it will spotlight these areas. It’s our cue to start showing up and getting more personally or physically involved in these matters so a good time to interview for the job, start the diet, see the doctor, adopt the pet, get out there and walk the dog, clean the basement out, detail the car, you get the idea.

Finally, there is a Full Moon on the 26th that is bringing things to a head with our art, film, music, or other muse-related interests, with our spirituality, prayers, meditation, or yoga, with our magical interests or psychic abilities, with messages from beyond or dreams, with addictions or bad habits, with secrets or deceptions, hospitals or other institutions, romantic interludes or clandestine romance, with karmic situations and people, or with research, strategies or investigations. At this point we may have breakthroughs, celebrate or achieve here or we may wrap up projects or mark endings.

ARIES:
Relationships are highlighted after the 6th and for the rest of the month so make a conscious choice to focus in on partners, clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, competitors, advocates, or other key players. You have Venus going for you here which is a great thing for love or income interests with these people or for making it about a woman, women as a whole or any beauty interests you may have. Venus may also help you smooth out issues with these players if you have them or help you enjoy what is going on more now.

Uranus has been showing you a bit of what his exciting, shocking, changing, reawakening ways are going to be like when it comes to your income, purchases, possessions, or products these last months and now on the 7th he is going to Retrograde and start heading back towards your sign. That means from now until Nov 6th you can get a bit of a break from the ups and downs in these areas or you can use it to go back and deal with an issue, rework something current or rekindle an opportunity here. Look to the past for clues or if you feel like exiting a situation or are waiting for someone else to exit it may occur now as well. Once Uranus gets to your sign on Nov 6th he’ll take you back over any personal or physical revamping from then until March 6th next year and then he’ll leave Aries for another 84 years as he moves back in to focus on your income, purchases, products, or possessions through 2026.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 11th may be the thing you have been waiting for as it holds lots of power to launch you into something brand new or help you take current interests to the next level when it comes to love, lovers, kids, creative ventures, and/or fun. You’ll have a 2-week window of momentum and may be able to eclipse out what is over or blocks that could be in the way of this fresh start if need be, so be proactive about what you’d like to pursue here. Now, here is the interesting part; Mercury is still Retrograde in these areas as this begins and will be until the 19th so you may be starting out towards that next chapter while engaging past lovers, creative projects, recreational pursuits, interests with kids, or you may be reworking that current scenario or exiting something as you get started. Once Mercury goes Direct on the 19th its all forward go for you so if you are bringing an ongoing or past scenario into a new incarnation this is when you launch, if you are leaving it behind the new opens up now. Do guard against typical Mercury Retrograde glitches on the day the energy shifts gears such as mix-ups, breakdowns, malfunctioning electronics or mechanicals, or miscommunications.

Mars is Retrograding through your social and aspirational zone up until the 12th which means you may be slowed down with friends, group activities, online interests, astrology, charities, gatherings, aspirations, or original projects during this period or you may be honed in on past people, ideas or situations as you readdress actions, passions or anger here. You may also be releasing something here during this period if you are over it or rekindling things that still spark interest. On the 12th Mars will continue his Retrograde but now he is backing into Capricorn so you will now be heading back over career matters, personal goals or situations with the boss, parent, judge, or other higher-up type to exit, return to past situations or rework/rekindle ongoing or past scenarios. Again, passions, anger or actions are up for a do-over here. Take care on the day the energy shifts between signs for more potential for mix-ups or malfunctions and ditto when Mars Retrograde ends on the 27th. At this point you’ll be ready to start moving forward with or without that career situation, goal or authority figure.

The Sun kicks off a 30-day cycle starting on the 23rd which will put a spotlight on your involvement with work, health or animals. At this point you should start getting more personally or physically in doing or pursuing the work, tackling chores, cleaning, organizing, getting busy with co-workers or hired help, showing up for your health, or doing more with the animals. You do shine now in these areas and can take the lead and make it about your interests so be proactive.

Finally, there is a Full Moon on the 26th that will see a big culmination of something tied to art, film, music, or other artistic interests, a romance, karmic situation, spiritual practice, hospital, other institution, secret, deception, addiction, bad habit, the research, or investigation. August may be your month when it comes to work, health or animal interests, Taurus. Venus is heading into this territory on the 6th and will tour here the rest of the month helping you attract the income flow, share or attract the love, focus on women, or make it about beauty. So get in there with your job or work around the home, focus on co-workers or hired help, get organizing, clean, tackle paperwork, and definitely find enjoyable ways to get healthy or connect with animals. Uranus has been touring your sign the last couple months for the first time in your life so you’ve been adjusting to this higher electrical energy resonating with your body as well as learning how it wants you to reinvent yourself via your body, image, brand, name, title, or the way you are showing up for personal or physical interests. Uranus wants to shake you out of any complacency in life and reawaken your unique, visionary side. Now, on the 7th, Uranus Retrogrades so from now until Nov 6th things may lighten up a bit as you catch up to any changes or it may be a period when you go back over anything that still needs releasing, reworking or rekindling. Do watch for mix-ups or mechanical/electronic malfunctions on the day the energy goes Direct and if you are signing contracts or agreements, try to wait until after the 19th so you don’t tie issues into this new start. If you have to sign it before this so you don’t miss out on the opportunity then give yourself some wiggle room since something will likely change up ahead.

Mars is also Retrograde this month and focused on your career, personal goals or a boss, parent, judge, or other authority type until the 12th. This may mean they or it have been missing in action lately or you have been going back to past people, issues, situations, or opportunities to rekindle, release or rework things.
