Zoe Moon’s MAY MONTHLY Horoscopes
Starting on the last day of April at 3:02pm Eastern and revving up until peak on May 1st at 1:23pm Eastern we are building to the Full Moon in Scorpio. So, we enter the month with things climaxing financially, in our sex life, with a divorce, in a power struggle or way we are being empowered, mortality, births, or with any third-party scenarios. We can bring things to a close or aim high and achieve or celebrate what we’ve been building towards in these areas of life. There’s a need to be personally or physically flexible at this time and we also have a supportive Venus/Saturn alignment tightly imposed on this Full Moon which may help us make commitments, put in time, sever ties, or get ambitious regarding love or money in the story. It could also be we are focused on something serious with a woman that lends to part of this story. Because Mercury passes over Chiron in Aries on this day, the 1st, we may hear news or make decisions about personal or physical wounds, vulnerabilities, and/or healing possibilities as part of this peak experience, so yeah, it's a powerful Full Moon period.
Mercury moves into Taurus on the 2nd at 10:57pm and will tour this sign until May 17th. So, we only have a little over 2 weeks with this influence and should make the most of it. Mercury unlocks news, brings talks or meetings, focuses on writing, agreements or sales, any interviews or auditions, gets us into short trips or local activities, helps us multitask, brings out our flirt, brings offers or decisions, or involves siblings, neighbors or transportation. In Taurus it slows down a bit and turns all of this towards income scenarios, any purchases, our possessions, or products. Expect the first week in to figure out any obstacles and push through, while the second week should bring some rather big opportunities.
By the 16th we have a New Moon in Taurus, kicking in at 4:01pm Eastern. This opens up a powerful cosmic boost forward over the next 2 weeks in the arena of income, purchases, possessions, and products. This boost can help us launch into some new opportunities in these areas or help us move things forward in current scenarios with a bit more momentum behind. It should give us more potential through news, talks, meetings, offers, or decisions getting this started since Mercury plays a part. Be proactive!
On May 16th and 17th we may want to keep in mind that Mars will be passing over Chiron in Aries. This brings our actions, anger or passions into merger with wounds or vulnerabilities, healing, or spiritual guru energy around teaching or healing. It is personal, physical, active, and requires a bit of grace. Do not pick fights over this weekend, it will hurt. Be careful with sharp objects, weapons, fire, and/or being more accident prone. Lean into the positive and use the active energy to conscientiously focus on healing, perhaps through yoga, meditation, prayer, or other mindful activities.
By the 18th Mars moves into Taurus at 6:25pm Eastern. This is the first time in a couple years since we’ve experienced this transit and it should fire us up, get our passions flowing, spark our motivation, and help us to make things happen when it comes to income, purchases, possessions, or products. Mars will be here now for about 6 weeks, until June 28th but it may be the first 2 weeks that are the strongest thanks to the added momentum of the New Moon boosting the potential in the same zone so dive right in! Do keep in mind that Mars is in his Detriment in Taurus, let’s face it, Mars wants things done yesterday, Taurus slows us down and is stubborn about it, so we may have to pour our heart and soul into making it happen or bring more energy to the table, and definitely we will want to be patient and endure, but this can really get us where we’re going so stay the course. Also, when it comes to passions, Mars is always about it and in Taurus will spark sensuality so enjoy.
Pluto has been moving us slowly forward since mid-October last year when it comes to our personal empowerment, the changes in our lives, deeper understanding, our financial scenarios, any focus on our own mortality, reproductive needs, our sex lives, divorce, or third-party situations. We’ve seen some of this through with friends or in groups, online, with original projects or with our aspirations over these months. Now, on the 6th of May, Pluto Retrogrades. This kicks in at 11:34am Eastern and will be taking us back over any of these themes now through Oct 15th. We will review, release, rekindle, or rework things between the 5th and 3rd degrees of Aquarius so if you have planets there or in any of the fixed signs; Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius, you may have a more powerful reassessment.
On the 17th Mercury enters Gemini at 6:26am Eastern and will tour this sign until June 1st. This is Mercury’s sign and he loves it here! This makes the last couple weeks of May more likely to speed up quite a bit when it comes to talks or meetings, sales, writing, or agreements, interviews or auditions, multi-tasking or diplomacy, and/or with siblings, neighbors, moves, or vehicles. We all see both sides of the equation with Mercury in Gemini so check out both and figure out where you want to go. The Sun then moves into Gemini on the 20th at 8:37pm Eastern and will tour here over the next 30 days. This puts a spotlight on all of these themes and draws us more personally or physically into them. It is time to pursue our own interests here, to stand out and shine.
On the 18th Venus moves into the sign Cancer and will tour here until June 13th. This period is a lovely one for beautifying the home, purchasing real estate in a beautiful local, earning from home, renovations, real estate, or family business, enjoying one’s home or family life more, spending time with a love interest at home or perhaps getting an Airbnb with your loved one for a nice getaway. Venus wants to smooth out issues, attract the love or money, or focus on beauty or pleasures and in Cancer that lands right on the home, family, parents, roommates, moves, renovations, or real estate deals. We may value something about history during this transit or purchase antiques or enjoy following our ancestry back through time. Emotions are more loving, nurturing and sentimental as well or seeking that vibe. Venus will meet with many energies, first Mars in an opportunity right away on the 19th, but more seriously needing to deal with some obstacle or test as she squares both Neptune and Saturn in Aries, before she lands in a glorious conjunction with Jupiter so plan to give it some time and effort and to feel your way through any fog before getting that amazing once every 12 year boost into the big deal she wants to be here.
The Moon enters Sagittarius on the morning of the 30th and begins to build so that by 4:45am Eastern in the early morning of the 31st we have a Full Moon in Sagittarius. This means we may experience the Full Moon climax on Saturday the 30th or on Sunday the 31st or both. We should see things peak regarding any Sagittarius themes now so look to culminations with any travel plans, foreign interests, distant situations, global matters, the law, higher education, any media or marketing needs, a wedding, graduation or other ceremony, or anything religious, political or philosophical. We wrap it up, finalize it, have our breakthroughs, mark our endings, achieve our goals, or celebrate in these arenas now.
