The DAILY ASTROLOGY April 17th

MONDAY APRIL 17th

We wrap up the last of our Pisces Moon energy this morning/afternoon with lovely alignments with Neptune, then entering a Void Moon period from 2:57pm-9:09pm Eastern, and then into Aries Moon and an opportunity alignment with Pluto in Aquarius. We also enter the Trigger Field for the upcoming Eclipse and the Mercury Retrograde Station today, so there's that, our day in a nutshell. So, while we have a strong Pisces Moon this morning through 2:57pm Eastern we can initiate when it comes to our artistic, romantic or spiritual interests, or our dreams, imagination or inspirational topics, or with rest, recuperation, research, or institutions. We then gather up all that we've set in motion and move it through the Void Moon period where we wrap it up, incubate on what comes next, strategize, or just take our hands off the wheel for a while to see what flowers from it. As we exit the Void and enter into Aries Moon, we feel revved back up and reinvigorated, ready to take charge, bring more passion to the table, come out swinging, or motivate, and this is in line with our financial, sexual, transformational, powerful, or third-party interests. It can help us align with friends, groups or causes about it, get online and see where that takes us, follow the astrology about it or focus on our charitable side in the story, or really make it about our aspirations tonight in these realms. So, the Trigger Field of the upcoming New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries moves into place today and is really felt from tonight onward as the Moon moves into Aries. We may start to feel as if we can take on the world and are ready to eclipse out whatever dares to stand in the way of what comes next so keep an eye on any ruthlessness or over-determination, plenty of time over the days ahead to take steps towards what comes next since the Eclipse is not perfected until 12:13am Eastern on Thursday! The positive of this energy is its ability to help us make moves towards our own interests or involving our own body, image, brand, name, title, needs, or initiative. This Eclipse energy will be on a critical degree, called the anaretic degree, the 29th degree of the sign, and holds way more power as all things of the sign converge at a peak, so combine that with Eclipse power and we are really, really going to be ready to act. Finally, we enter the Station of Mercury as he hits the 15th degree of Taurus and stops on it, readying to Retrograde on this degree on Friday at 4:35am Eastern. This means the rest of our week is about what we are thinking, saying, hearing, or deciding about the 15th degree of Taurus and this is going to shift on Friday, taking us back over old territory to reassess, release or rekindle things. As if this is not enough, Mercury stationing on the 15th degree of Taurus to Retrograde here on Friday means we spend the week on a critical degree with this as well! The 15th degree of the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius is considered the power degree and as the middle ground of the sign is where we figure out any issues with the sign and determine what we will do about them. Taurus is about our income situation, what is going on with any major purchases, what we are doing with possessions or products, what it is we are building, how our values are aligning, how we are being valued, and what we are experiencing as far as pleasures go in life. So, it would seem we are meant to give this a lot of thought this week starting today and get ready to head back over something here to get it right by May 15th when the Retrograde will end.
