The DAILY ASTROLOGY July 22nd

MONDAY JULY 22nd                    

Thank you to everyone who sent me Birthday wishes yesterday, I love you guys. For those who called and haven't heard back from me yet, please give me time, I'm still grieving the loss of my Emma. The Sun entered Leo at 3:44am Eastern this morning and will be touring this sign over the next 30 days. This is our cue from the universe to start showing up and getting more involved in Leo topics. It can be a time to pursue our own interests here, promote ourselves and stand out in some way. Leo is the ruler of creative talents and ventures so we may want to embark on something here. Leo rules children, true love and lovers so we may find we are falling in love, sharing more love, the recipient of love, or doing more with or for the kids. Leo rules recreation so we might spend the next 30 days out on the boat, at the golf course, at summer parties, or other recreational pursuits. And finally, Leo rules drama and entitlement so perhaps we get swept up in a drama or two or need to deal with entitlement issues in some area of life. Today the Aquarius Moon is forming alignments with Jupiter and with Venus, both in good flow. So, we may feel like doing or trying something different, being spontaneous, inventive, or unique. We may feel like being with friends, in groups or online, pursuing original projects or aspirations. Jupiter opens up big talks, meetings, sales, writing, offers, or decisions that focus on our happiness, prosperity, growth, or something legal, educational, media, or travel in the mix. Venus opens up one-on-ones with others over love, income, beauty, or pleasure, again with the lover, kids, creativity, or recreation in store. I'm keeping the same prayer for a few more days because I am in need of it personally, I hope that is ok with everyone.

MONDAY the Sun moves into Leo where he will now travel over the next 30 days. This illuminates our desire to show up and get more involved in creative activities, recreational pursuits, with the kids, or with our love life/lover. It’s a good time to pursue our interests here, perhaps tie in our name or title, image or brand, body or identity, and shine. Today this involves friends, groups, gatherings, the internet, astrology, charities, or our own aspirations in the mix. Look at the love or money, power or control, financial or third-party side of these connections in the mix.

TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY are focused on the Pisces Moon energy and so we may feel more inspired or there could be boundary issues, surreal situations, more intense dreams, signs or visions, more going on with institutions, research, investigations, addictions, secrets, or our artistic, romantic or spiritual life. TUESDAY this tests us and pushes us a bit more in active ways through talks or meetings, short trips, sales, writing, moves, local activities, or with siblings, neighbors, vehicles, or electronics in the mix. With Jupiter onboard we may be dealing with something big here or involving the law, media, education, travel, political, ceremonial, or religious in the mix. WEDNESDAY it is more serious, responsible, about the time in the story, authority figures, something ending, new beginnings, commitments, or goals.

THURSDAY begins quite a long story as Mercury moves into Virgo at 6:42pm Eastern. Mercury in Virgo is interested in the details of a story, the fine minutia, lists, plans, the work we need to do, our health or routines, our animals, paperwork, hired help, or co-workers. Mercury here will help us to come up with ideas, get into talks or meetings, interview or audition, sign agreements, focus on sales, write, or make choices in these areas of life. Why is it a long story? Because Mercury will move us forward here until August 5th at which point Mercury Retrograde begins in this sign. From the 5-14 of August Mercury takes us back in a do-over about these topics. Mercury Retrograde then backs into Leo from Aug 14-28 and the do-over moves to Leo topics (we'll talk about that closer to the time). Mercury goes Direct on Aug 28 in Leo and then re-enters Virgo on Sept 9th and will finally exit on Sept 26th. So we're really being given time to figure something out about work or health, our animals, paperwork, hired help, or co-workers!

FRIDAY we are asked to be flexible. First, we have Venus in adjustment mode with Saturn, then Mercury in Adjustment mode with Pluto. So, when it comes to the love or money, the kids or lover, the creative outlets or recreational pursuits, the beauty or pleasures, we need some give and take due to whatever is going on with institutions, authority figures, artistic interests, romance, spirituality, addictions, boundaries, or secrets. And when it comes to news, talks, meetings, short trips, writing, sales, or decisions about work, health, hired help, paperwork, co-workers, or the animals, the give and take involves friends, groups, the internet, astrology, charities, gatherings, or aspirations in the mix.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY then focus on Taurus Moon and our pleasures, the things we are building, our values, how we are being valued, our income, purchases, products, or possessions. SATURDAY this is under frictional alignments so we may have something to deal with involving a friend, group, gathering, power, control, jealousy, sex, finances, triangles, lovers, kids, creative ventures, dramas, or recreational pursuits that tests us a bit in the story or adds to it and means we are juggling a lot. SUNDAY opens up opportunity to recuperate, do the research, deal with the institution, get into the artistic side of things, connect romantically, or spiritually, in flow.

It's a powerful day and it's my Birthday although it's too sad around here to feel much like celebrating. We have reached the peak of our Full Moon in Capricorn, it perfected at 6:17am Eastern this morning, so a big part of our day is about what has reached its zenith with personal goals, career, status, or authority figures. We have flow today when it comes to research, artistry, romance, spirituality, dealing with addictions, secrets, boundary issues, or institutions. We have fresh starts when it comes to financial matters, sexual interests, the purging of things, transforming situations, going deeper, or third-party situations. Mars in his new placement in Gemini is helping us to actively or passionately express ourselves, to make plans that we will act upon, to talk, meet, take short trips, write, make sales, or decisions that get things going. Mercury brings a wild card through Uranus at some point today via news, a talk, meeting, sale, writing, or decision involving a lover, kid, creative venture, or recreational pursuit that means being spontaneous or dealing with a last-minute change or surprise involving the internet, friends, income, purchases, or possessions. And finally, Venus and Jupiter are connecting today for opportunities for love or money, beauty or pleasure, and something big. The DAILY ASTROLOGY July 20th

SATURDAY JULY 20th                      

Thank you for all the positive energy and prayers, James is recovering from the accident, and we buried our dear Emma, the sweetest angel of a dog I've ever had the privilege to know, cloaked with all of the positive energy you sent me. As the ruthless energy of Mars/Uranus/Algol has certainly hit many of us, including President Trump, President Biden and the CrowdStrike global tech outage as examples, it hit me as Mars, still in tight orb to Algol/Uranus, left the point and hit the 28th degree, activating our charts directly. This unfortunately is an example of how knowing the astrology and having warned James about how bad it was in the weeks leading up to it still did not mean it could be escaped. He could not have foreseen someone veering into his lane and having to go off road on the mountainside. His truck is totaled but he is going to be ok as his arm and head wounds heal, so we are very grateful for this. From what I have gathered from an eyewitness and James is that as James was about to hit the tree it was Emma who leaped into his lap being crushed by the steering wheel and possibly saving James from a worse outcome. For those of you trying to reach me, please be patient with me, this is a heartbreaking time as the loss of Emma is hitting me very hard, she would have had her 4th Birthday in October so she went to Heaven far too soon and she was loved beyond measure at our home. I will do a makeup show for the August Monthly Show as soon as I can, ditto the Weekly Show. Your continued prayers are enough though and really do reach me and help me in my sadness so thank you.

Today Mars finally leaves Taurus and moves into Gemini, breaking his connection to this dangerous combination. This occurs at 4:43pm Eastern so we do still have to contend with Uranus on Algol until Aug 7th but at least Mars, the activator, will have moved on. We will want to be careful with our necks and throats, social scenarios/gatherings, our possessions, money, and purchases, as well as with accidents, anger, sharp objects, fire, electricity, and sudden, shocking scenarios until Uranus has moved on as of Aug 7th. Once Mars moves into Gemini this afternoon he will lock onto Pluto at zero degrees of Aquarius and form an alignment between them that is in play the rest of today and tomorrow, perfecting just before midnight tomorrow night so this is truly powerful energy to transform something, to dig deeper and make changes that are profound, to speak something into being that has the potential to evolve a storyline tremendously. So use your words wisely.

With Mars in Gemini we shift gears with our passions, fighting spirit, anger, and actions, now in the sign of the mind, our talks, meetings, sales, writing, short trips, and local activities. It is also the territory of siblings, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, flirtations, ideas, offers, moves, agreements, and decisions so we'll have more going on here as well. While we have more energy behind making things happen in these areas there is also more energy around potential combativeness, fired up desires, and our reactive nature. When Venus is in Gemini our words might be very charming or alluring, when Mercury is in Gemini our words might be quickly flowing and with dual purpose, but with Mars in Gemini words are sharper, more action-oriented and perhaps geared up to confront so keep it in mind when getting into dialogue with others over the weeks ahead. Yes, we can now use this force to get our ideas across, pitch our projects, speak words of motivation but we'll want to keep a handle on pushing buttons and with aggressions or accidents on the road with this one. Mars is in Gemini until Sept 4th.

We also have the Capricorn Moon working with Saturn today which should help with our ambitions, time, effort, responsibilities, or commitments. This can be about personal goals, career, status, or dealing with authority figures. It can involve artistic, romantic or spiritual needs, or research and institutions. We are building to the Full Moon in Capricorn which peaks at 6:17am Eastern/3:17am Pacific tomorrow morning. This means many of us will experience this Full Moon climax today/tonight in the build-up, others will experience it tomorrow, some both days. This is a powerful Full Moon at the critical 29th degree of Capricorn which brings more dynamic to what is climaxing or culminating. It is tied into Neptune at the 29th degree of Pisces and to Pluto just 1 degree away at zero degrees of Aquarius. It is also in alignment to Mars at zero degrees of Gemini and to Uranus on Algol at the 26th degree of Taurus. So, we have things coming to a head today into tomorrow involving personal goals, status, fame, career, responsibilities, limits, endings, commitments, time, or authority figures and it is big. We may be wrapping something up or marking an ending, or we may be achieving or celebrating something.

 It's the last day of Mars on Uranus and Algol, after today Uranus and Algol will continue to be combined through August 7th but the fired-up activator from Mars will have moved on. So, one last day of me telling you to be extra cautious with the neck and throat, with crowds and the internet, with money, possessions, and purchases, with sharp objects, blood, fire, electricity, anger, or weapons, take care. TODAY we wrap up the last of the Scorpio Moon energy, so we are focused on financial, sexual, purgative, transformational, or third-party interests. This harmonizes with the Sun so is in flow with how we are involved at home, with moves, renovations, real estate deals, with family, parents, roommates, or on an emotional level. This harmonizes with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces so we are in flow with research, institutions, the artistic, romantic, or spiritual needs in the equation, putting in time, tackling responsibilities, getting ambitious, or utilizing our imagination. And it sits opposite Mars and Uranus on Algol, pushing or testing us with others to do more or be in the moment about some of the crazy stuff we've seen going on with these topics over the weekend and through today. At 9:25pm Eastern the Moon then moves into Sagittarius and shifts our focus to travel or distant situations, legal or educational pursuits, media or marketing ideas, ceremonies, religion, or politics. There is flow here tonight regarding social or online interests, financial influences, power, sex, or third-parties in the mix, doors open.
