The DAILY ASTROLOGY July 20th

SATURDAY JULY 20th                      

Thank you for all the positive energy and prayers, James is recovering from the accident, and we buried our dear Emma, the sweetest angel of a dog I've ever had the privilege to know, cloaked with all of the positive energy you sent me. As the ruthless energy of Mars/Uranus/Algol has certainly hit many of us, including President Trump, President Biden and the CrowdStrike global tech outage as examples, it hit me as Mars, still in tight orb to Algol/Uranus, left the point and hit the 28th degree, activating our charts directly. This unfortunately is an example of how knowing the astrology and having warned James about how bad it was in the weeks leading up to it still did not mean it could be escaped. He could not have foreseen someone veering into his lane and having to go off road on the mountainside. His truck is totaled but he is going to be ok as his arm and head wounds heal, so we are very grateful for this. From what I have gathered from an eyewitness and James is that as James was about to hit the tree it was Emma who leaped into his lap being crushed by the steering wheel and possibly saving James from a worse outcome. For those of you trying to reach me, please be patient with me, this is a heartbreaking time as the loss of Emma is hitting me very hard, she would have had her 4th Birthday in October so she went to Heaven far too soon and she was loved beyond measure at our home. I will do a makeup show for the August Monthly Show as soon as I can, ditto the Weekly Show. Today Mars finally leaves Taurus and moves into Gemini, breaking his connection to this dangerous combination. This occurs at 4:43pm Eastern so we do still have to contend with Uranus on Algol until Aug 7th but at least Mars, the activator, will have moved on. We will want to be careful with our necks and throats, social scenarios/gatherings, our possessions, money, and purchases, as well as with accidents, anger, sharp objects, fire, electricity, and sudden, shocking scenarios until Uranus has moved on as of Aug 7th. Once Mars moves into Gemini this afternoon he will lock onto Pluto at zero degrees of Aquarius and form an alignment between them that is in play the rest of today and tomorrow, perfecting just before midnight tomorrow night so this is truly powerful energy to transform something, to dig deeper and make changes that are profound, to speak something into being that has the potential to evolve a storyline tremendously. So use your words wisely.

With Mars in Gemini we shift gears with our passions, fighting spirit, anger, and actions, now in the sign of the mind, our talks, meetings, sales, writing, short trips, and local activities. It is also the territory of siblings, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, flirtations, ideas, offers, moves, agreements, and decisions so we'll have more going on here as well. While we have more energy behind making things happen in these areas there is also more energy around potential combativeness, fired up desires, and our reactive nature. When Venus is in Gemini our words might be very charming or alluring, when Mercury is in Gemini our words might be quickly flowing and with dual purpose, but with Mars in Gemini words are sharper, more action-oriented and perhaps geared up to confront so keep it in mind when getting into dialogue with others over the weeks ahead. Yes, we can now use this force to get our ideas across, pitch our projects, speak words of motivation but we'll want to keep a handle on pushing buttons and with aggressions or accidents on the road with this one. Mars is in Gemini until Sept 4th.

We also have the Capricorn Moon working with Saturn today which should help with our ambitions, time, effort, responsibilities, or commitments. This can be about personal goals, career, status, or dealing with authority figures. It can involve artistic, romantic or spiritual needs, or research and institutions. We are building to the Full Moon in Capricorn which peaks at 6:17am Eastern/3:17am Pacific tomorrow morning. This means many of us will experience this Full Moon climax today/tonight in the build-up, others will experience it tomorrow, some both days. This is a powerful Full Moon at the critical 29th degree of Capricorn which brings more dynamic to what is climaxing or culminating. It is tied into Neptune at the 29th degree of Pisces and to Pluto just 1 degree away at zero degrees of Aquarius. It is also in alignment to Mars at zero degrees of Gemini and to Uranus on Algol at the 26th degree of Taurus. So, we have things coming to a head today into tomorrow involving personal goals, status, fame, career, responsibilities, limits, endings, commitments, time, or authority figures and it is big. We may be wrapping something up or marking an ending, or we may be achieving or celebrating something.
