The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 12th

Yay, we are out of all of those squares from yesterday and into some positive flow today. Venus and Mars Retrograde are engaged with each other so we may revisit past passions or anger or activities with another regarding love, the kids, creative ventures, recreational pursuits, dramas, friends, money, gatherings, or the internet. Some of us may have got an early jump on this in the build-up last night but the rest of us will be into it this morning.

Mercury Retrograde is building to its opportunity with Venus which perfects around 11:45pm Pacific tonight/2:45am Eastern tomorrow in the wee hours. So again, we may pick up on this in the build-up tonight or experience it first thing tomorrow morning, but it should add opportunity for news, talks, ideas, or decisions that let us release, rekindle or rework something involving travel, distance, legal, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political in the story, doors open.

Taurus Moon keeps us consistent with income needs, values, how we are being valued, purchases, gifts, possessions, or products today and is in flow with Saturn in Pisces. This helps give us the support we need with artistic, romantic or spiritual interests in the mix or with institutions, recuperative needs or research around the story. There is a time today when we will want to be flexible regarding our own involvement or needs in the mix, this perfects around 10:34pm Eastern/7:34pm Pacific so keep it in mind. We have a fixed T-square today between the Moon in Taurus, Venus and Pluto in Aquarius, and Mars Retrograde in Leo so the energy is frictional, tense, testing, and/or stubborn, but it is also tenacious, active, and going to get us in there regarding what we value, how we are valued, our income, purchases or possessions, the love, beauty or pleasure in the mix, any outside financial needs, sexual attractions, or third-party influences, dealing with births, death, or divorce, friends, groups, or the internet, and our do-over regarding a Leo, love life/lover, the kids, dramas, entitlement issues, or fun. Did I forget anything, lol?! It's hard to believe that Christmas Eve is 2 weeks from today! I never want Christmas to be over, lol. Today gives us lots of energy towards getting things done, be they Holiday-oriented or not. Aries Moon is still holding sway getting us physically moving or focused on our bodies, image, brand, name, or title, or it is giving us that spark regarding our personal interests. It is in flow with both Jupiter and the Sun so generosity and being front and center are called for today. Look for big news or ideas, expansive talks, meetings or offers, something big with a sibling, neighbor, move, the vehicles, or electronics, or with our writing, agreements, or decisions. This puts us into the story via travel plans that open up or a visit from afar, we may find we can learn or teach something today or that we are feeling a bit more optimistic about our world. Or, if there is something about ceremonies, media, politics, or religion that intrigues us we can follow that course in flow as well today. Yay, we're back in Aries Moon! I don't know about you but the weepy side of the Pisces Moon had me the past couple days and I'm happy to be out of it. So, we are back into getting active and pursuing our own interests today, sweet. It should be noted that with Mars Retrograde in Leo and Mars ruling Aries, we will likely find that some of that will involve the past or ongoing story around lovers, kids, Leos, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. Here we are revising, rekindling, releasing, or reworking things. The alignments are in positive flow today as the Moon moves to connect with Pluto, Venus, Mars Retrograde, and Mercury Retrograde, all in harmonics or opportunity alignments so we should get a lot moving. Pluto and Venus are in Aquarius so it may involve powerful things around love, money, beauty, intimacy, death, birth, divorce, and how its playing out with friends, groups, gatherings, online, or about our aspirations. Mars Retrograde we already noted, and Mercury Retrograde opens up talks, offers, or decisions regarding past or ongoing do-over moments around travel, distant, legal, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political themes. We should feel supported today regarding institutions, artistry, spirituality, romance, or research, and how it pertains to our goals, status, authority figures, values, money, purchases, or possessions.

THURSDAY night into FRIDAY morning (it could express either day) Mercury Retrograde is active with Venus. So, we may hear from someone or run into them or return to an old idea or topic involving travel or distance, legal or educational, media or ceremonial, or religious or political matters to revise, review, release, or rework it. This hinges on an opportunity involving love, income, beauty, pleasure, social scenarios, online pursuits, or personal aspirations, doors open. 

FRIDAY we wrap up Taurus Moon energy by 12:22pm Eastern and this is in flow this morning so wrap up income needs, purchases, or what is going on with possessions, gifts, or products. Gemini Moon then takes over at 12:22pm Eastern, forming an opportunity with the Mars Retrograde. This means we have good flow when it comes to talks, news, or meetings, sales, writing, or offers, and our revisiting, releasing, or reworking of something with a lover, the kids, a creative venture, Leo, or recreational pursuit. Mercury Retrograde is also on tap today so news, talks or decisions with another over what stays, what goes, what returns, or what can be reworked around travel or distant, legal or educational, media or ceremonial, or religious or political themes is possible.

SATURDAY morning might start out slow thanks to Saturn in square so if you feel like you need to stay in or go back to bed, eh, might as well. We should start to come out of it the further from 10:30am Eastern we get and by the afternoon we get a nice boost from Jupiter which lifts us up. This can buoy our enthusiasm, generosity, growth potential, happiness, or prosperity point, or give us a sense of adventure for the rest of the day, again via conversations, short trips, local activities, news or offers, flirtations, or ideas.

SATURDAY night into SUNDAY we are building and then reaching the peak of our FULL MOON in Gemini. This culminates by 4:02am Eastern Sunday morning at the 23rd degree of the sign so it is bringing really big or important news, offers, talks, or meetings, sales, writing, negotiations, or mediations, short trips, local activities, or moves, or something with a brother, sister, neighbor, vehicle, or electronic to a peak moment. We may find that this communication, commerce, or community climax is about something wrapping up or ending or is about a celebration or achievement. Hidden matters and secrets will come out over the course of these 2 days tied to this big moment so don't be doing anything in the shadows that you don't want to be known!

SUNDAY will continue to be focused on this epic peak but by 2:21pm Eastern the moon moves into Cancer and we will shift some of our focus to home or family matters, any emotional needs, or what is going on with roommates, parents, moves, renovations, history, antiques, or real estate deals. Some give and take is indicated here around financial, intimate, or third-party influences. Finally, on Sunday at 3:56pm Eastern Mercury Retrograde ends! Mercury goes Direct at this point and whatever we have been reassessing regarding travel, legal, distant, media, educational, ceremonial, religious, or political themes is done and we should now be ready to start moving forward again towards what comes next. We will be in the Shadow of the Retrograde until Jan 3rd, meaning we are moving forward again with ideas, talks, news, offers, or decisions about these topics but will be moving forward with what we reassessed during the Retrograde until we get past this date and then into new opportunities after this date. Keep it in mind when planning!

The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 8

First of all, my apologies for missing yesterday's post! I am blaming it on Neptune stationing Direct, lol. Arg. So let me touch on what occurred for us yesterday first. Venus moved into Aquarius yesterday morning and will tour here until Jan 3rd. Her presence in Aquarius is a freeing agent when it comes to love, income, beauty, and pleasures. It is a period when we may be more social in these areas of life, where friends, groups, or gatherings play a bigger part, where we may find these things online, be more inventive or original, or more of a maverick, in the quirky zone, or spontaneous. As noted, Neptune ended his months of Retrograde and went Direct yesterday as well. So, we are now in forward motion again when it comes to film, music, painting, poetry, or romance, as well as with magic, spirituality, psychic abilities, and dreams, with any motion towards tackling addictions, dealing with secrets, or with karmic cycles, or with investigations, research, or institutions. It's time again to tune into our intuition and imagination and move towards what comes next in these arenas. Neptune will be Direct in Pisces until March 30th at which point he moves into Aries in Direct motion.

Ok, so what is going on today? The morning looks a bit flip-floppy or perhaps we have a lot on our plate and get into a bit of everything or say to heck with it and go back to bed for a while, lol. There is a lot going on in our heads or with news, talks or decisions tied into it so let's pace ourselves. Topics to consider; short trips, writing, sales, siblings, ceremonies, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, travel plans, distant situations, legal needs, media ventures, educational pursuits, politics, religion, institutions, research, sleep, secrets, addictions, artistic needs, romance, or spirituality. Pretty much everything but the kitchen sink this morning, should we just go back to bed?! Not to worry, it shifts into lovely flow and opportunity after we get past this busy-brain free-for-all morning. The rest of the day we find our groove as social opportunities open up or ways to feel valued come our way or we find online interests opportune or the potential for earning, spending, gift giving, or getting busy with our possessions is part of the potential, and the artistic, romantic or spiritual finds its flow again. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 6th

No surprise that under the Mercury Retrograde Midpoint during my show time last night that I could not go live, seeing that after over a decade of doing my show there it will be ending with Blog Talk Radio by Jan 31st as they are closing their doors. I got the now familiar prerecorded 'Blog Talk is having technical issues' message when I tried to call in, so, I will be doing the Show this morning at 11am Eastern/8am Pacific (assuming it works) for anyone who would like to listen live: https://www.blogtalkradio.com/zoemoon or you can check back here this afternoon for the link once it is posted: https://zoemoonastrology.blogspot.com I will be covering Venus heading into Aquarius over the weeks ahead as well as Neptune going Direct in Pisces for each sign. Please note again, my show will be moving to a new location as yet to be determined but I will give you the heads up as soon as I figure it out.

Now, for today! Mars is stopped in the sky awaiting the kick-off of his Retrograde motion that begins at 6:33pm Eastern/3:33pm Pacific today. So, during this 'before the Retrograde occurs period' we may feel anticipatory, held in place awaiting action of some sort or it may give us a pissy feeling like we want to snap at someone, or we could feel a bit backed up regarding our passions until this occurs. Once Mars Retrogrades, we begin a 2-part story to readdress old passions, anger or actions. The first part, from today through Jan 6, will be about true love, lovers, children, creative ventures, dramas, entitlement issues, speculation, Leos, or recreational pursuits. From Jan 6-Feb 23 it will be about readdressing things involving the home, family, move, renovation, real estate deal, parents, roommates, history, ancestry, Cancers, or emotional needs. So, give a moment of thought today about this first part in Leo and what you would like to go back over or let go of or rework in some way. What still needs to be done? How passionate are you about it? Did you leave unfinished business regarding fights or anger behind? We are officially in do-over mode with Mars from this point onward so let's make the most of it!

The Moon is in Aquarius and will square Uranus today, so we have some kind of detached, unpredictability going on that is sparking us up. It may be we are in the moment with friends, groups or about gatherings, online, with income, or purchases, or regarding freedoms or values, but it is pushing us or testing us in some way so be ready to jump in or make changes as they arrive.

Finally, Mercury Retrograde is square to Saturn. This peaks by 8:53pm Eastern/5:53pm Pacific so there is something about travel or distant situations, legal or educational needs, goals, karmic matters, institutions, authority figures, or energy levels, media, political, ceremonial, or religious matters, or anything with addictions, secrets, romance, artistry, or spirituality that is hanging us up a bit today with an obstacle. So, expect to hear about something that tests you a bit or to have tests around the ability to talk it out as the do-over energy is wound up around something that feels serious. It is a closing square so more internal work may be indicated around this one, or something is being held up for one reason or another, either way, we may have to push ourselves a bit to get it out, or decide the timing is not right and we need to let it go, use this do-over as best you can. This square is the hardest alignment of our entire Mercury Retrograde so if there has been something for us to really deal with, we find out about it today. Also, careful on the roads, with electronics, and miscommunications.
