Mercury Retrograde is active today and in positive flow so we should find we can get in there in talks, meetings, with news, or offers, reviewing the past or ongoing situation, revisiting what we can do about things, and making decisions in our do-over. Our topics at hand are travel or distant matters, legal or educational pursuits, media or marketing ideas, ceremonies, religion, or politics.

We are wrapping up the Taurus Moon energy in the early part of the day and again, we have positive flow around this so it should be easier to move things along around income needs, with purchases, possessions, or values. The imagination is sparked and in flow, there is potential for artistry, spirituality or romance to sparkle, research or dealing with institutions is open, along with any financial, intimate, or third-party needs.

At 12:22pm Eastern the Moon exits Taurus and moves into Gemini where it will initiate contact with both Mercury and Mars Retrograde along with Venus, and again, all in positive flow. So, doors are open to amplify the talks, meetings, offers, or decisions, to flirt, to get busy locally or take a short trip, with siblings, neighbors, or about moves, or around writing, sales, the vehicles, electronics, or decisions. So we keep our Mercury Retrograde themes going but can introduce do-overs with the kids, lover, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits, and seek out love or money, or via beauty or pleasure with friends, at gatherings, online, or around our aspirations. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 12th

Yay, we are out of all of those squares from yesterday and into some positive flow today. Venus and Mars Retrograde are engaged with each other so we may revisit past passions or anger or activities with another regarding love, the kids, creative ventures, recreational pursuits, dramas, friends, money, gatherings, or the internet. Some of us may have got an early jump on this in the build-up last night but the rest of us will be into it this morning.

Mercury Retrograde is building to its opportunity with Venus which perfects around 11:45pm Pacific tonight/2:45am Eastern tomorrow in the wee hours. So again, we may pick up on this in the build-up tonight or experience it first thing tomorrow morning, but it should add opportunity for news, talks, ideas, or decisions that let us release, rekindle or rework something involving travel, distance, legal, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political in the story, doors open.

Taurus Moon keeps us consistent with income needs, values, how we are being valued, purchases, gifts, possessions, or products today and is in flow with Saturn in Pisces. This helps give us the support we need with artistic, romantic or spiritual interests in the mix or with institutions, recuperative needs or research around the story. There is a time today when we will want to be flexible regarding our own involvement or needs in the mix, this perfects around 10:34pm Eastern/7:34pm Pacific so keep it in mind. We have a fixed T-square today between the Moon in Taurus, Venus and Pluto in Aquarius, and Mars Retrograde in Leo so the energy is frictional, tense, testing, and/or stubborn, but it is also tenacious, active, and going to get us in there regarding what we value, how we are valued, our income, purchases or possessions, the love, beauty or pleasure in the mix, any outside financial needs, sexual attractions, or third-party influences, dealing with births, death, or divorce, friends, groups, or the internet, and our do-over regarding a Leo, love life/lover, the kids, dramas, entitlement issues, or fun. Yay, we're back in Aries Moon! I don't know about you but the weepy side of the Pisces Moon had me the past couple days and I'm happy to be out of it. So, we are back into getting active and pursuing our own interests today, sweet. It should be noted that with Mars Retrograde in Leo and Mars ruling Aries, we will likely find that some of that will involve the past or ongoing story around lovers, kids, Leos, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. Here we are revising, rekindling, releasing, or reworking things. The alignments are in positive flow today as the Moon moves to connect with Pluto, Venus, Mars Retrograde, and Mercury Retrograde, all in harmonics or opportunity alignments so we should get a lot moving. Pluto and Venus are in Aquarius so it may involve powerful things around love, money, beauty, intimacy, death, birth, divorce, and how its playing out with friends, groups, gatherings, online, or about our aspirations. Mars Retrograde we already noted, and Mercury Retrograde opens up talks, offers, or decisions regarding past or ongoing do-over moments around travel, distant, legal, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political themes. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 5th

The Aquarius Moon sits opposite Mars this morning and Mars has stopped in the astrological sky, awaiting his turn to Retrograde tomorrow. So...there is something going on with a social matter, involving friends, associates, groups, gatherings, the internet, or something unusual, original, exciting, an Aquarius, or that is spontaneous on the one hand, and then there is something that seems held in place, held back, on the verge of something passionate, angry, or active involving a lover, the kids, a creative venture, a drama, entitlement issues, a Leo, or recreational pursuits with another in the story on the other hand. Push, pull, give and take, something feels weighted unfairly or off in some way, but deep breath, it won't remain this way much longer. Tomorrow late afternoon/early evening we head into the Mars Retrograde (more on that tomorrow) but we will see a shift in the balance and a do-over in view then. For today, remain as balanced with whatever this situation is for you and seek personal joy in place.

By 9:18pm Eastern we hit the Midpoint/Turning Point of the Mercury Retrograde, yep, 2 Retrograde influences on the same day, and we should have some kind of shift in the do-over we have been in regarding faith, ceremonies, religion, politics, legal matters, educational pursuits, media ventures, marketing ideas, distant situations, or travel plans. To that end, we may hear news, have an idea, get into a talk, field an offer, or make a decision about what we have been releasing, revisiting, or reworking in these arenas. It could also be about our happiness or prosperity or sense of growth. Zoe Moon Astrology DECEMBER MONTHLY Horoscopes

So, how are we wrapping up the year of 2024? Is it invaders from Mars or Mars Retrograde that is going to rock December? Well, let’s take a look.

First off, we enter the month with Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius until the middle of December, so we are still reassessing travel, distance, growth, or happiness, legal, educational, media, or ceremonial, as well as anything religious, philosophical, or political. Do we go back to the past, do we let go of something, do we rework what is going on, what stays, what goes, what can be fixed? Note mix-ups, miscommunications, and malfunctioning items around these topics are ways to get us to slow our roll and reevaluate, so give extra wiggle room and double check facts and figures, Mercury is Retrograde until Dec 15th.

Next, we get a New Moon in this same territory of Sagittarius at 1:21am Eastern on the 1st. The New Moon lasts until the 14th. So, while we are reassessing legal, travel, educational, media, ceremonial, distant, happy-making, religious, or political themes with our Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius we now have cosmic boost behind launching ahead into something new or next chapter with these same themes. It is tricky, I will not lie, but just keep in mind that our forward motion is tied to something we are letting go of or reworking or rekindling here.

We reach the Midpoint/Turning Point of the Mercury Retrograde on the 5th so there can be important news, ideas, talks, or decisions that shift us on our path of revision or help us let go or turn a corner today. It can be an aha moment, look to the skies!

By 6:33pm Eastern on Friday the 6th Mars Retrogrades in Leo. We are now heading back to reassess our passions, anger or actions/reactions regarding lovers, children, dramas, entitlement issues, speculations, creative endeavors, or recreational pursuits. This lasts until Jan 6th in this territory before Mars continues his Retrograde in Cancer from Jan 6-Feb 23 (more on this next month). So, is there something you wish you had done or had not done regarding one of these Leo topics? Did you fight in the past and want to patch it up or get better closure? Have you been reconsidering an old passion in one of these arenas? Look for anything new to slow down while doors to the past or rehashing something current open up. It could also be about rekindling, reworking or releasing something with a Leo in our lives.

Venus moves into Aquarius at 1:13am Eastern on the 7th and will tour this sign now through Jan 3rd. Venus in Aquarius wants to be free or try something new or be spontaneous, or get social when it comes to love or money, beauty or pleasure. It is quirky and genius if unpredictable over the next few weeks. Love may play out in more social ways or online, income may involve more associates, original ideas or groups, beauty may be loud and proud, with blue hair, pink glasses or chartreuse shoes, you get the idea, it’s exciting, rebellious, sudden, shocking, and fearless. Be in the moment.

At 8:43pm Eastern on the 7th Neptune goes Direct. This ends months of Retrograde do-over with artistic, romantic, and spiritual matters, with secrets and addictions, rest and recuperation, karmic matters and past life interests, institutions, research, and investigations. We are now ready to start moving forward into what comes next in these areas of life. Our imagination is back and charging, and if we pay attention, we may find more signs or messages in dreams are inspiring us moving forward. Do note, that in 2011 Neptune entered Pisces and as it goes Direct here today it is starting the final throes of its journey through this sign. From now until March 30, 2025 Neptune will move forward over the 27th, 28th, and 29th degrees of Pisces before exiting the sign and entering Aries for the first time since the Civil War. The 27th and 28th degrees are going to have their last activation by Neptune during this short window now through the end of March so if you have planets at these degrees in the mutable signs of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius, you may have important things going on in these areas of life now. Neptune will Retrograde back to the 29th degree one last time from Oct 22, 2025-Jan 26, 2026, giving us one last shot on the critical 29th degree to infuse our lives with this energy combination before settling into Aries for good. So, let’s all pay attention to what is front and center now at this Direct motion as it dissolves away or reinspires or both in our lives.

By 4:02am Eastern on the 15th we reach our Full Moon climax at 23 degrees of Gemini. This brings big news, talks or meetings to a head, offers or proposals coming in, writing or sales at their peak, something big with a move, short trip, or local activity, big moments with siblings or neighbors, something peaking with vehicles or electronics, or big moments with flirtations, duality, or diplomacy. Look for breakthroughs, wrap-ups, endings, or achievements in these areas in the days leading up to this and/or climaxing late on the 14th/early on the 15th. Since the Mercury Retrograde ends today at 3:56pm Eastern today that shift in direction of information may mean we have some rather major moments today between the two, for some a big ending via decisions being made.

The Winter Solstice arrives on the 21st as the Sun moves into Capricorn for his 30-day cycle here. It means we all start to get more serious about our own needs and how we are showing up in life. It is time to get real about our bodies, our involvement in ambitious activities, how our image or brand is impacting said goals, status, fame, or career, and what we are doing with our boss, parent, a judge, mentor, or other authority figures in our lives. It is time to lead ourselves forward with respect, with a plan, and with tenacity. May we have a lovely, quickly passing winter!

On Christmas Eve day Jupiter squares Saturn emphasizing the pretty big turning points we are all coming to in our lives this year. It may mean we are honoring someone who is no longer with us at this Holiday or that we are ready to close a chapter of life and embark on a new one. This can be bittersweet as it is laced with the sadness of letting go but some of the sparkle of hope for a new future. Be gentle with those around you this Holiday since it can bring emotions to the surface, especially in situations where people may say something without thinking or we hear something that reminds us of how much has or is changing.

Christmas Day, along with the beginning of Hanukkah commence under a Scorpio Moon and this day is looking powerful if also a bit intense. It should allow us to connect with deeper feelings and to evolve a story in our lives if we would like to do so. Mars, Pluto and the Sun are active so we are present, we are busy, we may be easily sparked into combat so keep it in mind around that crazy relative, lol, and to be honest, it looks the most amped up in the morning so we may find our bearings and our groove after all the pandemonium subsides. There is something about, ‘oh, I’m the adult’ in the mix and about nostalgia (seems fitting) that is front and center. And I would note that even though the 25th is the Holiday it would seem that we will have some important news, talks or meetings amping up on the 26th as well so we should pace ourselves!

On the 29th, at 4:13pm Eastern, Chiron ends his months of Retrograde and goes Direct. So, this is the cosmos’s way of letting us know we’ve had enough time to revisit old wounds and vulnerabilities, and we should now start to move forward regarding our choices about them or regarding what is occurring with them. Over the months ahead we can start to heal and court any new potential with our own spiritual guru teaching or healing of others. We should make this personal or start showing up in physical ways about it. Watch today for any clues as to how this is shifting in your own life and where it may be guiding you to go. Chiron will move forward from 19 to 27 degrees of Aries now through July 31st, 2025 so if you have planets in this degree plain in the Cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, you may have important stories ready to play out here over the months ahead.

At 5:27pm Eastern on the 30th we get our second New Moon of the month, this one at 9 degrees of Capricorn! This opens up 2 weeks of cosmic boost to help us start anything new or take our current interests forward when it comes to our personal goals, time and effort on projects, responsibilities, commitments, career, or ambitions, as well as with the boss, parent, director, producer, teacher, or other such authority figure in our lives.

New Year’s Eve has this momentum behind it as we are still in the Capricorn New Moon energy and this can make our celebrations more status conscious, ambitious, or mature. We have positive alignments today as we say farewell to 2024 and await 2025 so let’s make the most of them! Overall, it looks quite social. I’d also like to note that this is the first New Moon in Capricorn in 16 years without Pluto in the sign so I’m hopeful it is giving us more freedom to go for it, whatever ‘it’ is. Happy New Year!

SUNDAY 12:51am-1:19am

MONDAY whatever Venus/Saturn issues we had going on on Sunday carry over into the morning today so we may have to deal with issues involving women, love, income, beauty, energy level, recuperative needs, institutions, an authority figure, goals, time, addictions, secrets, artistic interests, romance, or spirituality. Luckily this peaks by 9:35am Eastern so we should be able to pull ourselves out of this with the help of Mars who is quite vital and in flow. He wants to give us energy, passion or activities that motivate us at home or with family, any real estate deals, moves, or renovations, or with parents or roommates and help us achieve here throughout the day. Be meticulous with the detail, do the work, and see results.

TUESDAY is interesting as we are now in Libra Moon conjunct the South Node. This means the day is about rebalancing something via any clients, specialists, partners, representatives, competitors, or other key players or rebalancing something ourselves. The interesting part is that with the South Node it may A) mean this is about letting go of someone, B) finding a more equitable solution in one-on-ones or C) meeting someone new who we feel we’ve known before (because we have).

WEDNESDAY look very optimistic when it comes to these partners, clients, specialists, reps, etc, and/or our balance in life as we find things in flow with love or money, beauty or pleasure, travel or legal, educational or media, ceremonial or religious, or political or philosophical interests. Talks, meetings, sales, offers, or decisions flow as well. There is one wild card with Uranus today so at some point we hear from someone or run into them randomly or some situation changes last minute and this impacts purchases, income, possessions, or values, as well as could involve friends, groups, or the internet.

THURSDAY is a bit crazy up until around 1:30pm Eastern so buckle up, take it in stride, expect somewhat of a crapshoot when it comes to one-on-ones. The Moon then moves into Scorpio at 1:29pm to get us more interested in the dark and mysterious just in time for Halloween. Invitations, talks, local activities, or decisions now hinge on the occult, things buried, sexy moments, financial interests, morbid topics, power, or third-party situations and this is in flow with Neptune in Pisces bringing the magic, psychic, spiritual, artistic, or romantic into the story. If EVER there was a night to hear from those on the other side or have a paranormal experience, this is it (if you want it) so make the most of this deeper, more tangible potential and Happy Halloween!

FRIDAY is about fresh starts! Happy All Saints Day, Happy November and Happy New Moon to everyone. The New Moon kicks in at 8:47am Eastern and opens up 2 weeks of forward momentum that can help launch us forward when it comes to loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, insurance, alimony, child support, investments, a partner’s money, or other financial interests, or it can help us launch forward with sexual attractions, reproductive needs, divorce, a birth, a death, or any third-party situations. We can take what we are already involved in and move into new chapters or start something new altogether here. This is in flow with Saturn so making some solid, long term choices regarding time, effort, goals, authority figures, institutions, research, artistic interests, romance, addictions, secrets, or spirituality could be part of this new beginning.

SATURDAY is all about Mercury so expect more news, talks, ideas, flirtations, short trips, writing, sales, offers, moves, or focus on vehicles, electronics, siblings, or neighbors. It starts out aligned with Mars in flow so whatever it brings should open up activities or passions at home, with moves, renovations, real estate deals, parents, family, or roommates. It then links to opportunities with Pluto so we can go deeper, purge things, make changes, get sexual, make it financial, empower, or involve third-parties. Finally, Mercury exits Scorpio and moves into Sagittarius at 3:18pm Eastern where he will now tour for a while. In Sagittarius it means we are now involving our religious or political needs, travel plans, foreign interests, distant situations, legal needs, educational pursuits, the media, any marketing ideas, ceremonies, growth, happiness, or prosperity in the mix. Do note, we are moving forward with this now, then, by Nov 7th we enter the Shadow phase of the upcoming Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius so we start to get wind of what our do-over will be about in these arenas. On Nov 25th Mercury Retrograde will begin and we will head back over past or current situations in these arenas to revise, release, rekindle, or rework things in legal, travel, educational, media, foreign, distant, ceremonial, religious, or political areas. Mercury Retrograde ends on Dec 15th and passes the other side of its Shadow on Jan 3rd. So, this is a long story, one that moves forward, slows, heads back over things, revises, then moves forward again. Definitely expect this to impact election results, it will take a while to unwind.

Late SATURDAY into early SUNDAY Mars and Pluto will be active together so it can be highly passionate and sexual or motivating and transformative, or combative and deadly. Therefore, stay clear of scary places or people and lean into the positive side of this combo. It can play out at home, with family, a country, our land, a move, renovation, or real estate deal, a parent, roommate, a fire, the basement, or historical matters, and a leader, authority figure, corporation, system, the establishment, personal goal, or career objective.

SUNDAY Mars moves into Leo where he will tour for an extended time as well, again due to his upcoming Retrograde in this sign. So, Mars in Leo means we are ready to take action or get more passionate or deal with anger regarding our love life or lover, the kids, any dramas, entitlement issues, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. It is go time, we haven’t had this kind of added energy here in 2 years and if we can manage to avoid the confrontational side of angry Mars we can really make things happen here over the weeks ahead. Mars will Retrograde on Dec 6th and back from 6 degrees of Leo back to zero degrees by Jan 6th and then Mars will take his Retrograde into Cancer (more on that in January). Mars returns in Direct motion to Leo April 18th-June 17th, 2025 so it is a story that will have 2 major chapters, now and then, and a segment of this will be reviewing, releasing, rekindling, or reworking things in these areas. Finally, we have a Venus/Jupiter alignment today which can put a woman, love interest, income pursuit, beauty, or pleasure at the forefront via the media, legal, political, religious, travel, distant, or educational avenues. Talks, offers or decisions reflect this potential!
