Happy July! For a month that is supposed to be about the sign Cancer, we sure have a lot going on opposite in Capricorn. First off, Capricorn is about the grown-up side of our personality and the energy that is about testing us so we master new levels of proficiency. Capricorn brings limits, rules, regulations, timing factors, structures that support, personal goals, career objectives, status, reputation, fame, authority figures, and our own leadership into play. It is about what is finite, black and white, any endings or commitments, our ambitions and getting real. So, I start our July forecast out with this because Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and on July 1st Saturn is going to Retrograde back into his sign, Capricorn, for the last time. He will now take you back over old ground here so you can do any final releasing, fixing up, reworking, or rekindling of things between now and Dec 17th when he exits this sign to not return for another 29 years. During these months ahead you are in the do-over Retrograde phase July 1st-Sept 29th at which point Saturn will go Direct and you will move forward on what you figured out from Sept 29-Dec 17th. Plan accordingly!
Saturn has us backing up over our goals, career needs, status, or authority figures from July 1st but the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn peaks on the 5th so something is coming to a head in a big way at this point. We may have an ending, something or someone eclipsed out, or find we are wrapping up projects or situations that we’ve been working on, or there could be something coming through, accomplished, achieved, and celebrated in a big way at this point. So, aim high and work towards what you’d like to see happen in the days leading up to this Eclipse. Eclipses do have Trigger days so you may also have something happening about this on June 7th, July 1st, July 9th, or Aug 2nd.
Chiron is the energy of wounds, vulnerabilities, healing, and spiritual guru focus on healing or teaching others. It is in the sign of Aries asking us to focus on our bodies, name, title, brand, image, ego, identity, or personal needs here. On July 12th Chiron Retrogrades so something shifts in this story for each of us. We may spend the months ahead taking a breather from some of this or we may need to go back and address old issues or rekindle old interests or rework some ongoing situation so pay attention to what is shifting for you with wounds, vulnerabilities, body, ego, and other personal matters at this time. Chiron will be Retrograde until Dec 17th.
July 13-15 Mars will cross over Chiron, and marry passion, anger, violence, motivation, or action with wounds or vulnerabilities, so it would seem that the 12th (when Chiron brings a shift in the direction of these wounds or vulnerabilities), through the 15th when Mars is done activating them, are likely to be cautionary days. On July 21st, my Birthday, Mars begins to resonate the outer planetary positions and will continue to build in his frictional square to them through the end of August so whatever you have going on personally or physically that requires a push from you or actions needed to overcome an obstacle will start to heat up now with these goals, career matters or authority figures. As a collective we see the anger and aggression fire up, it’s going to be dangerous so be careful. In your own world be careful around sharp objects, weapons, fire, and being more accident prone.
By the 27th of July Jupiter in Capricorn will form an opportunity alignment with Neptune in Pisces so the door opens up for something big and expansive with the goal, career, status, or authority figure and any Jupiter themes such as legal, travel, foreign, distant, educational, media, marketing, political, ceremonial, or religious in the mix, and what is going on with the research, secrets, investigations, deceptions, hidden agendas, institutions, artistry, spirituality, romance, karmic matters, addictions, or dreams in the mix.
Now for the Cancer energy at play this month! Mercury has been Retrograde in Cancer since June 18th so you’ve been rethinking things when it comes to your home, any real estate deals, moves, or renovations, or what’s going on with your family, parent, roommates, history, or ancestry. Mercury is about readdressing ideas, talks, meetings, sales, writing, interviews, offers, and decisions here as well as any reworking of something involving siblings, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, short trips, or community activities in the mix about it. Mercury continues to take you back over things so you can release what is no longer working, rekindle anything that holds promise or rework situations so you get it right up until July 12th. Since December 2017 Saturn has been testing you when it comes to the direction of your life and your life goals, your status, reputation or fame, your career path, and your parents, bosses or other authority figures in your life. Happy July! For a month that is supposed to be about the sign Cancer, we sure have a lot going on opposite in Capricorn. First off, Capricorn is about the grown-up side of our personality and the energy that is about testing us so we master new levels of proficiency. Capricorn brings limits, rules, regulations, timing factors, structures that support, personal goals, career objectives, status, reputation, fame, authority figures, and our own leadership into play. It is about what is finite, black and white, any endings or commitments, our ambitions and getting real. So, I start our July forecast out with this because Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and on July 1st Saturn is going to Retrograde back into his sign, Capricorn, for the last time. He will now take you back over old ground here so you can do any final releasing, fixing up, reworking, or rekindling of things between now and Dec 17th when he exits this sign to not return for another 29 years. During these months ahead you are in the do-over Retrograde phase July 1st-Sept 29th at which point Saturn will go Direct and you will move forward on what you figured out from Sept 29-Dec 17th.
