ZOE MOON ASTROLOGY JULY MONTHLY HOROSCOPES 2020
Happy July! For a month that is supposed to be about the sign Cancer, we sure have a lot going on opposite in Capricorn. First off, Capricorn is about the grown-up side of our personality and the energy that is about testing us so we master new levels of proficiency. Capricorn brings limits, rules, regulations, timing factors, structures that support, personal goals, career objectives, status, reputation, fame, authority figures, and our own leadership into play. It is about what is finite, black and white, any endings or commitments, our ambitions and getting real. So, I start our July forecast out with this because Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and on July 1st Saturn is going to Retrograde back into his sign, Capricorn, for the last time. He will now take you back over old ground here so you can do any final releasing, fixing up, reworking, or rekindling of things between now and Dec 17th when he exits this sign to not return for another 29 years. During these months ahead you are in the do-over Retrograde phase July 1st-Sept 29th at which point Saturn will go Direct and you will move forward on what you figured out from Sept 29-Dec 17th. Plan accordingly!
Saturn has us backing up over our goals, career needs, status, or authority figures from July 1st but the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn peaks on the 5th so something is coming to a head in a big way at this point. We may have an ending, something or someone eclipsed out, or find we are wrapping up projects or situations that we’ve been working on, or there could be something coming through, accomplished, achieved, and celebrated in a big way at this point. So, aim high and work towards what you’d like to see happen in the days leading up to this Eclipse. Eclipses do have Trigger days so you may also have something happening about this on June 7th, July 1st, July 9th, or Aug 2nd.
Chiron is the energy of wounds, vulnerabilities, healing, and spiritual guru focus on healing or teaching others. It is in the sign of Aries asking us to focus on our bodies, name, title, brand, image, ego, identity, or personal needs here. On July 12th Chiron Retrogrades so something shifts in this story for each of us. We may spend the months ahead taking a breather from some of this or we may need to go back and address old issues or rekindle old interests or rework some ongoing situation so pay attention to what is shifting for you with wounds, vulnerabilities, body, ego, and other personal matters at this time. Chiron will be Retrograde until Dec 17th.
July 13-15 Mars will cross over Chiron, and marry passion, anger, violence, motivation, or action with wounds or vulnerabilities, so it would seem that the 12th (when Chiron brings a shift in the direction of these wounds or vulnerabilities), through the 15th when Mars is done activating them, are likely to be cautionary days. On July 21st, my Birthday, Mars begins to resonate the outer planetary positions and will continue to build in his frictional square to them through the end of August so whatever you have going on personally or physically that requires a push from you or actions needed to overcome an obstacle will start to heat up now with these goals, career matters or authority figures. As a collective we see the anger and aggression fire up, it’s going to be dangerous so be careful. In your own world be careful around sharp objects, weapons, fire, and being more accident prone.
By the 27th of July Jupiter in Capricorn will form an opportunity alignment with Neptune in Pisces so the door opens up for something big and expansive with the goal, career, status, or authority figure and any Jupiter themes such as legal, travel, foreign, distant, educational, media, marketing, political, ceremonial, or religious in the mix, and what is going on with the research, secrets, investigations, deceptions, hidden agendas, institutions, artistry, spirituality, romance, karmic matters, addictions, or dreams in the mix.
Now for the Cancer energy at play this month! Mercury has been Retrograde in Cancer since June 18th so you’ve been rethinking things when it comes to your home, any real estate deals, moves, or renovations, or what’s going on with your family, parent, roommates, history, or ancestry. Mercury is about readdressing ideas, talks, meetings, sales, writing, interviews, offers, and decisions here as well as any reworking of something involving siblings, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, short trips, or community activities in the mix about it. Finally, the Sun heads into Leo on the 22nd, kicking off 30 days of focus on creative ventures, the kids, your love life or lover, or recreational pursuits. This puts a beam of light on these matters and urges you to show up and get more personally or physically involved in these topics. Since December 2017 Saturn has been testing you when it comes to the direction of your life and your life goals, your status, reputation or fame, your career path, and your parents, bosses or other authority figures in your life. This period has been about endings or commitments, looking at the rules, regulations, responsibilities, and ambitions in the mix and doing the brick by brick work of getting serious about these matters one way or the other. Saturn has given you a little break since he moved into Aquarius back on March 22nd but now on July 1st he Retrogrades back into Capricorn and takes you on you very last leg of this journey now through Dec 17th. Happy July, Taurus! The month commences with Saturn returning to his sign, Capricorn, as he Retrogrades back in on the 1st and will tour here one last time, now through Dec 17th. Since Dec 2017 Saturn has been testing your relationships, Cancer, and you are probably very glad this is only a once every 29 year transit. Saturn has wanted you to look at limits, endings, commitments, structures that support, responsibilities, and ambitions with partners, clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, competitors, or other key players. Saturn made a temporary exit from these tests on March 22nd but now, starting July 1st, he’s back for his last go-round. Saturn has been testing you since Dec 2017 with aspirations, freedoms, original projects, friends, associates, groups, the internet, astrology, charities, and gatherings. Saturn has wanted you to get serious about what needed to end, any limits or responsibilities, rules or regulations, long-term commitments, or ambitions in these matters. He exited this territory on March 22nd, giving you a bit of a reprieve, but he is now back for the very last time on July 1st and in Retrograde motion. So you are now to review, release, rekindle, or rework whatever you can here now through Sept 29th, at which point Saturn will go Direct and you should be ready to move forward with whatever you have figured out then through Dec 17th. At that point Saturn will exit this territory for good, not to return for another 29 years, so it’s important you use this do-over to get things right.
To add to the weight of these subjects this month, you enter July with energy building up and then peaking by the 5th under the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse so you are feeling things culminate with these aspirations, original projects, freedoms, friendships, associates, groups, online interests, astrology, charities, or gatherings. Something will now be wrapping up, endings, celebrated, or achieved here and this is 3 times more powerful than a typical Full Moon. Finally, by the 27th Jupiter gets involved and brings travel, distance, legal, educational, media, marketing, ceremonial, religious, or political themes into the story. This then links with something magical, inspired or artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, or research based for you and it may involve you physically showing up or what is going on with your image, brand, name, title, or needs in the mix, door open.
Chiron has been bringing wounds and vulnerabilities to the surface regarding your income, purchases, possessions, and products since 2018. He’s also been nudging you to step into your guru energy and ability to heal or teach others based on the wounds you’ve experienced and now understand in these areas. On the 12th Chiron Retrogrades which may give you somewhat of a breather and time to catch up with what has occurred or it may ask you to go back over something and release, rekindle or rework it. You have until Dec 16th with this do-over so make it count. Since Chiron Retrograde on the 12th shifts the direction of these wounds or vulnerabilities and Mars will be coming to sit on the same degree with Chiron from the 13-15th, activating them, these days between the 12-15th would seem to be cautionary. By July 21st Mars will start to resonate those outer planets in a frictional square that is likely to get you much more fired up and active or reactive about your needs with those income, purchases, possessions, or products interests and what is occurring with now with friends, groups, the internet, astrology, charities, gatherings, aspirations, or original projects through the end of August.
You entered July with Mercury still Retrograde so you have been also in a do-over with kids, creative endeavors, lovers, or recreational pursuits. Mercury has asked you to rethink, release or rework something here from the past or that is ongoing and the talks, meetings, sales, writing, interviews, offers, and decisions you’ve been having about these matters reflects this do-over. On the 12th Mercury Retrograde ends as Mercury goes Direct and you should be ready to shift gears and start moving forward having figured something out one way or the other. To add to this forward momentum there is a New Moon on the 20th in these areas of lovers, kids, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits so you now have 2 weeks of forward boost from the cosmos to help you launch into something new or take a current interest into that next chapter.
Finally, the Sun heads into your work and health zone which also includes co-workers, hired help, paperwork, cleaning, organizing, and animals. So you now have a spotlight on all of these topics and can show up and get more personally or physically involved with them. The next 30 days should help you to stand out, take the lead or make it more about your interests in these areas so start that new health regime or pursue those work projects, get out with the pets or sign the paperwork, you get the idea.
