PEREZ HILTON’s Astrology by Zoe Moon
I think most of you guys know of the event surrounding Perez Hilton, occurring on Tuesday, August 4th, as he aggressively was hurting himself live on the internet. I want to say that the days we are in are very intense. These planetary configurations are not like anything we’ve been through before, as witnessed on the world stage and within our own lives. As terrible as this was/is for Perez personally, physically and emotionally, it seems to me that it is also reflective of the current pain, rage and confusion awash through the collective. Although at its extreme, this event, Perez, is a mirror to that and why I felt we could benefit from looking into this story. And please, when we see a fellow human being undergo this kind of thing we should send as much Light as we can muster and prayers if you pray. He is in my thoughts and prayers for healing.
So, without even looking at the chart beforehand, we can deduce a few things through our understanding of the planetary energy. We know it involved his body so we will look at what was going on with his SUN. We know it was sudden, shocking, in front of followers online, and then went viral online, all things ruled by URANUS. So, we will look at that. We know there was lots of blood, a knife, and aggression/violence, all things ruled by MARS, so we’ll look at that in his chart. We could stop there since we only need 3 activations to know it was in timing in his life, but I’d like to look at a few more things. His mind, the things he was saying, and his choices are of course something in the mix, so we’ll look at MERCURY. There was lots of wounding so I would assume we need to look at CHIRON. He is an ARIES, so we will need to know if there was any pressure on that sign for him. We know that things in the spotlight for Aries are through the sign CAPRICORN and its ruler, SATURN, so we will look at that. I don’t have his birth time so we will be looking at the chart specifically for the planetary alignments and rulerships. I think that is enough to get started, let’s go.
His SUN. He was born as a 2-degree Aries, and this is conjunct his Karmic South Node at 5 degrees Aries. So, when these degrees are activated by any of the outer transiting planets, we could see something involving him, his body, his presence, his ego or will, and loss, letting go, or a karmic scenario for him. People born on or near their South Node many times have past life scenarios they want to carry forth with in this lifetime or have past karma they need to rebalance. Anyway, starting on March 26, Neptune, who takes 165 years to go around the zodiac once and therefore was arriving to activate these positions for the first time in his life, moved in on his Sun at 2 degrees and stayed there until April 22nd. It then will return to his Sun in the Neptune Retrograde Sept 26-Nov 6 when he will need to return to the matter in some way to address it all, and then it will finally move over his Sun for the last time Jan 18-Feb 23, 2027, when what he is going through personally or physically with this event will wrap up. The entire time, from March 26, 2026, through Feb 23, 2027 ties it all together with one story for him but is at its peak during the periods I just outlined.
The Karmic situations, past life souls or stories tied to what is going on with him now through Neptune will be activated over these dates; April 18-May 20, 2027, and again Aug 31-Oct 7, 2027, and finally between Feb 18-Mar 17, 2028. So, the Karmic part of the story runs from April 18, 2027-Mar 17, 2028, with highpoints at the above dates. He will hopefully not only let go of some things and rebalance himself in some important way then but will bring a lot of past life folks around him to be part of it during that period. Some of the people, situations or choices may be introduced this year as it is between his Sun/Chiron conjunction.
Neptune is the planet of illusion, delusion and drugs, it rules alcohol, bad habits, addictions, self-sabotage, and boundaries (or lack of them), the sea, retreat, depression, things that are hidden, secretive, or deceptive, and the sign that rules our karmic past life. It also rules dreams and visions, spiritual practices, signs from the other side, and psychic moments, as well as art, film, music and other muse driven interests, romance, research, and institutions such as hospitals, spas, psychiatric wards, prisons, and other places that take us out of the daily life from time to time. Neptunes job is to slowly dissolve away the old and reimagine something new. So all or some of this was at play on his Sun; who he is, his body, identity, will, ego, or at the heart of the matter, and then on his Karmic South Node; a loss, letting go, rebalance of a karmic situation, or past life experience reappearing. Since this planet takes 165 years to round the zodiac only about half of us will ever experience hosting him upon our Sun, it can bring feelings of being lost or confused along with all of these other influences and will do its part to get us in touch with many of these themes as we are going through such a transformation, out with the old, in with the new. It’s interesting to note that Perez had a spiritual revelation recently, right on track with the more positive side of this influence.
URANUS. The planet of rebellion, sudden, shocking changes, the internet, the collective, and groups was at 5 degrees of Gemini. This is the first time in 84 years that Uranus moved onto this degree in this sign. It began July 31st and runs until Oct 22nd. It will return May 14-31, 2027, and one final time Feb 2-24, 2028. This degree is the exact degree of his Karmic South Node at 5 degrees Aries as well as his North Node of Destiny at 5 degrees Libra. So, we know this planet as well is activating his past life karmic scenarios along with his Destiny, and this planets influence runs from July 31, 2026-Feb 24, 2028, with the dates above as peak periods in the story. It means the shocking events and how it has and will play out over the internet or with the collective are tied to his past life and karma as well as his Destiny.
MARS, MERCURY, ARIES and SATURN. Transiting Mercury was approaching his Mars by 1 degree on Tuesday as it moved over 23 degrees of Cancer and then sat on his Mars on Wednesday and Thursday at 24 degrees Cancer, something that happens once every year. So, we know this on its own would not create the situation, but it is always fast moving ‘personal’ planets that activate what is being staged as the background story with the slower moving planets and we have already noted 2 such influences on him at this time. Mercury rules the mind, the things being said, and decisions coming together with Mars, the aggression, sharp object and blood, activated Tuesday-Thursday. In Cancer, at home or about emotional issues. Next, transiting Mars was in applying conjunction with his Jupiter. This occurs once every 2 years. So, the aggression, blood, weapon, (Mars) could go big, bring media, the law, (Jupiter) into the story. This came in orb July 30th and lasts until Aug 8th. Next, Saturn is conjunct his Mercury (and Venus but more on Saturn/Venus in a minute), first time in 29 years. Saturn is the alchemical lead, it is heavy. It can feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders for the time it moves through your sign or over a planet, both occurring for Perez at this time. It is the planet that throws a lot of tests or limitations your way, asks you to tighten your belt, focus on just a few important things, master some new level of proficiency about it, end some things, get real about life, do the work, and through this transit set yourself on a new 29-year story of life. It is hard. It rewards the efforts after it leaves the sign, for Aries this is not until April 13, 2028. So having Saturn bare down on his mind, the things he was saying and deciding was very heavy and serious at this time. He was in a mental loop that would have been overwhelming to many. With the added influence of Saturn on his Venus there may be tests or weight around love in his life, how loveable he feels, and money/possessions, things ruled by Venus. Saturn came into his sign on Valentine’s Day this year, moved into orb of his planets on May 18th, and will not exit over top of both planets until Jan 25, 2028. As he comes back from this event, he will do best to go slow and steady, build brick by brick, it is a time of reimagining, his visionary abilities, and this energy of self-mastery and leadership.
CHIRON. The wound, wounding oneself or others, the vulnerabilities, and healing. Around the age of 50 everyone experiences their Chiron Return. This is the period we mark as Chiron has gone through every sign since birth, moving all the way around the zodiac and now returns to its birth position. So, we have experienced all the wounds and vulnerabilities, and we have a moment of great release as a soul on the planet, streaming tears and seeing our wounds as they are, through all the accumulative experiences up until now in our life. It is a transition from having to experience, as an example, how the wounds feel in Gemini with our brothers or sisters, or Cancer with our mother or home, or Scorpio with our sex life or financial concerns, and on and on. We have now felt it all. So, while Chiron is on its own placement we are somewhat melting down and releasing it all through some experience that wraps it all up. The next 50 years or whatever of that we live through, Chiron shifts into the other side of its energy. It becomes the spiritual guru teacher/healer. We now step into this side of the energy, having experienced the nature of the wounds ourselves, we can now help others. So, when it returns to each sign up ahead, we know what that is about and we can help. It is a much easier time with the energy. Once Chiron entered Taurus (first time in 50 years) on June 20th Perez began to feel the pull to this accumulation of wounds and vulnerabilities building. His Return will happen when Chiron gets to 3 degrees. So, he was activated by this, in the build-up this year between June 20-Sept 18, and then into his Return next year starting to build April 14th and then exact on his Return June 6-29, 2027, and then in the Retrograde Sept 16-Oct 11, 2027, and final passage April 4-20, 2028. This is a rite of passage and a very tender time, for him lasting from June 20th, 2026-April 20, 2028, with the key peak periods listed above. We all go through this; I look at it as an initiation from the pain into the more spiritual side of our lives.
There is so much more going on but we can see that the key things we would expect to be activated were all activated at this exact time in his life. I’m sure if I pulled up the progressed charts we would see just as much. If Perez actually sees this at some point, my prayer for you is that your spiritual journey outweighs the pain and pulls you through, that you will be gentle with yourself, trust in a Divine plan and your place within it, heal this, and step into the other side of it.
