The DAILY ASTROLOGY May 4th

'Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey ey, good-bye'. Yep, that's the song I got in my head (NEW * Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye - Steam {Stereo}) as I started to write this today so perhaps it's for someone out there, lol. A song from 1969, oh boy, and of course I had to go look it up, it released in November of that year when the Karmic South Node was at the same degrees of Virgo that it is now so again, perhaps this is a sign of releasing for some of us, just thought I'd share that one. On the world stage we could be saying good-bye to Bernie Sanders, or someone with similar placements.

So, the astrology today is all about Pluto Retrograding at 11:27am Eastern. From now until Oct 13th we get to review, recoup, rekindle, release, or rework things that have gone on since November. It will focus on mortality, births, power, or control issues/needs, deep, profound transformations, financial scenarios, sexual interests, reproduction, divorce, crime, jealousy, or third-party situations. It will play out around our freedoms, aspirations or original projects, through the collective, with our friends, associates, groups, or online interests, or with astrology, charities, science, or gatherings. Time to take a deep breath, look at what has gone on here and what, if anything, could be fixed or let go over the months ahead.

Leo Moon is square to the Sun in Taurus this morning but in flow with Mercury and Jupiter the rest of the day. That means in the morning our desire for love or creative outlets, focus on the kids or recreational pursuits may need to hold off for a bit until we get through the Sun in Taurus needs. Perhaps there is something around being valued or a need to go earn a living, make a purchase, or focus on possessions or products that keeps us from just playing around. However, once we get past this the day opens for fun and creativity, love and the kids via invitations coming in, proactive talks or meetings, short trips, writing, or sales, and an expansive, optimistic mindset. Think big, open your heart, make the most of your Sunday!
