The DAILY ASTROLOGY May 10th

Mercury entered Taurus at 8:15am Eastern and will tour here until the 25th. That gives us 15 days of mental focus on our earnings, purchases, possessions, the things we are building, our pleasures, the things we value, how we are being valued, or our products. Mercury will do his part to help us pitch ideas, write things up, meet, talk, interview, audition, focus on the sales, short trips, local activities, offers, or decisions about these topics. At the same time, it calms the mind as it exits the more aggressive Aries energy and slows us down so we can take our time and think things out.

At 3:58pm Eastern the Moon moves into Scorpio, opposite this new Mercury placement in Taurus, and will begin building to the Full Moon climax in Scorpio by Monday afternoon. This means emotions are stronger and likely to focus on deep changes going on and what is being brought to conclusion or achievement between now and Monday. Scorpio is about power, control, sex, finances, birth, death, divorce, crime, and third-party situations. Something is culminating here now through Monday and today it will allow us to go one-on-one with someone over the Mercury energy in the mix. There is also a square to Pluto which may bring a friend, group, online interest, our freedoms, original projects, or aspirations into the friction that is building. This kind of frictional pattern can push us to do more to reach where we are going or it can frustrate or it can bring blow-ups, the energy is just far more dynamic. The fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are bearing the brunt of this combination so look at where these signs fall in your own chart for more insight into what is amping up over the next few days.
