Zoe Moon Astrology NOVEMBER MONTHLY Horoscopes
The New Moon in November occurs on the 1st and will hold sway through the 14th. This first half of the month is then all about fresh starts, brand new opportunities, and next level potential when it comes to all things Scorpio. It kicks in at 8:47am Eastern and is at the 9th degree of the sign. Scorpio rules loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, insurance, and all other kinds of outside financial resources so we have this cosmic boost in these arenas. Scorpio also rules sex, intimacy, jealousy, possessiveness, the reproductive system, power, and control so we may wish to make a fresh start in one or more of these areas. Scorpio rules the underworld, crime and criminals so we may be able to move forward on dealing with something here. Scorpio rules birth and death and transformation so we may see some momentum via these avenues. There is the possibility of very important news, talks, ideas, offers, or decisions tied to this New Moon that would appear on Friday the 1st or Saturday the 2nd or both, and then intensify through Sunday the 3rd so it would seem we get started right away with this new potential.
We have energy winding up in Sagittarius this month starting with Mercury entering the sign on the 2nd. Sagittarius is the sign of politics, religion, philosophy, higher education, travel, foreign interests, the law, media, marketing, and ceremonies. Having Mercury here brings news, talks, meetings, sales, writing, offers, or decisions about these topics over the weeks ahead. We are moving forward with Mercury but it does enter the Shadow of the upcoming Retrograde on the 7th so we start to get wind of what the upcoming do-over will be about. The Shadow is our preview and runs from the 7th-24th. Mercury then Retrogrades in Sagittarius on the 25th and will be taking us back over our current or past Sagittarius themes now through December 15th. We will then exit the Shadow on the other side by Jan 1st, exiting Sagittarius altogether by Jan 8th. So, as you can see, we have a long story here. I would definitely think this will impact election results if we have an election as information and decisions pertaining to anything political and legal and coming through the media is impacted by the slow down, Shadow, Retrograde, and post Shadow of Mercury. Try to mentally prepare for the dragging out or fighting going on over all of this ahead of time or for the candidate that wins being removed over the course of this period (by Jan 20th). As for in our own lives, we may decide, as an example, to sign up for classes but then have some issue pop up that has to be addressed like the class is full, your paperwork goes astray, or your transportation to classes is not going to be what you thought, and then you figure things out and move forward with it as Mercury goes Direct again. Perhaps you have legal documents you are waiting on and there are delays or something comes back unsigned, you get the idea, look at all of those Sagittarius topics and expect to go with the flow, look at what can be reworked, rekindled, or released around these matters. Oh, and we definitely may have issues with travel over Thanksgiving and/or Christmas or New Years so plan accordingly and ditto if purchasing presents, do so ahead of this period, keep receipts and warranties, expect delays if you wait. The Sun will move into Sagittarius on the 21st and tour here over the next 30 days which is our cue that we will likely be more personally or physically involved in these matters. It is about doing what is in our best interests and shining here and so hopefully will help counterbalance some of the crazy Retrograde stuff.
Mars is going to move into Leo on the evening of the 3rd, at 11:10pm Eastern to be exact. This is also going to be an extended story as Mars will move us forward with Leo themes but then Retrograde in Leo on December 6th, take us back for a do-over or reworking, releasing, or rekindling of something Leo from December 6-January 6th. He will then Retrograde into Cancer January 6th – February 23rd, go Direct in Cancer Feb 23 through April 18th before re-entering Leo on April 18th and touring here until June 17th. So, again, we have a long story with a hiccup in the middle of it as we turn attention from Leo to Cancer and then back again. Leo rules true love and lovers, children, creativity, recreation, speculation, drama, and entitlement issues. Mars is going to fire things up, get us busier than we’ve been in a couple years here, spark our passions about one or more of these topics, spur our anger or fighting spirit about them, and motivate us to act or react. So, what do you have to get busy about involving your love life or lover, your creative ventures or talents, the kids, or something recreational? One note about Mars before he gets into Leo on the 3rd, he will be at the 29th degree of Cancer Nov 1-3 and here he is opposing Pluto at 29 degrees of Capricorn. This is a highly charged opposition that can mean some kind of attack going on out there globally and in our own lives could mean confrontations so do walk gently out there. Here we go.
Venus moves into Capricorn on the 11th at 1:26pm Eastern and will tour here until December 7th. This period brings a more serious, ambitious, time-consuming period regarding love or income, beauty or pleasure. Venus softens the harder side of Capricorn and may take a liking to status symbols, the more refined side of what is to offer. She can help smooth out issues going on or attract the love or money when in pursuit of personal goals, on the career front, around status, fame, or focusing on reputation, or with a boss, parent, judge, mentor, or other important authority figure. If you want to make a commitment to beautify your place as an example this period can help you put in the time and effort and set goals you can work towards. We may be hearing more from or about a woman in a place of authority during this period. At the same time, Capricorns influence on Venus is she is more no-nonsense, authoritarian, status conscious, and ambitious regarding love or money, beauty or pleasure.
Saturn has been Retrograde in Pisces since the end of June and now, on the 15th of November, Saturn goes Direct again. This kicks in at 9:20am Eastern and will give us the months ahead, until May 25th when Saturn exits Pisces for Aries, to move forward with its potential. Saturn wants us to grow up, get serious, make commitments, end things that no longer support, look at what structures do support, put in time, effort, be responsible, deal with limits, tests or no’s, deal with personal authority and authority figures, take the lead, and get our ambition on. In Pisces this is playing out in the artistic field so through film, music, painting, poetry, and the like. It is playing out through institutions, research or investigations. It is playing out with past life scenarios, karma and romantic interludes or affairs. It is playing out with bad habits, addictions, secrets, or deceptions. It is playing out around water or with boundaries. Or it is playing out via the spiritual, magical or psychic realm. So, if you’ve been held back or slowed down for a while with anything here expect things to start moving again and be proactive about doing the work to make things happen. Remember that Saturn is a brick-by-brick kinda energy, don’t look at how high the wall is you have to build, just start laying the foundation and do a little every day.
The Full Moon this month peaks on the 15th as things are building to a climax in the sign Taurus. This begins to be felt early on the 14th and will culminate by 4:28pm Eastern on the 15th so we may experience peak moments either day or both. It is occurring on the 24th degree of Taurus so if you have planets within 4 degrees of this degree in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius you may feel it more intensely. We can have big breakthroughs, celebrations or achievements now or we may be all about wrapping something up or marking an ending as the energy hits this zenith. Taurus rules our income, purchases, possessions, and products so we can have peak experiences here. Globally we could see something big transpiring with our coins, dollars, gold, or other monetary scenarios. It also rules our values, how we are being valued, our pleasures, the things we build, and stubbornness so we could have something climaxing around these topics as well. Think back to May 7th and the New Moon beginnings in Taurus, how far have you come with the things you started then?
Our last influence this month is that at 3:29pm Eastern on November 19th Pluto will move back into Aquarius where he will now tour until the year 2044. Yep, our upheaval and rebirthing experience of Pluto through Capricorn is finally over (think back to 2008 when that one began and what has changed regarding the establishment, leadership, time, corporations, institutions like schools, hospitals, prisons, etc., and our own personal authority or dealings with parents, bosses, career, or our goals). Pat yourself on the back, it was not an easy transit.
We now go as a collective into Pluto in Aquarius. For better or worse all outer planets have now made their move into and through Aquarius, with Pluto being the final one since we began getting inklings of the Age of Aquarius back in the 1960s. We now have all tools needed to reform and rebuild this new Age. Pluto is a planet of power, control, sex, financial matters, crime, death, birth, divorce, and triangles/third-party influences. It wants to destroy and rebuild, go deeper, make changes, disempower and re-empower, evolve and transform. In Aquarius this is to and through the collective, our ideals, inventions, science, groups, clubs, organizations, the internet, big tech, astrology, charities, friends, associates, parties, events, or gatherings, causes, or freedoms. Pluto last toured this sign 1777-1798 during the Revolutionary beginning of the United States so we can expect something equivalent to this again. We have almost 20 years to see how this will take hold, be proactive about leaning into the positive side of transformation and doing your part to not take part in the more deadly side of the energy.
