The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 21st

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 21ST                                       The Moon shifted into Sagittarius early this morning and the Sun heads into Capricorn later this afternoon, so we are shifting gears into new territory with our emotions and ego. Sagittarius Moon wants to go big and be happy, it is generous, optimistic and has its eye on anything travel, legal, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political oriented. It's in square with the Sun once it moves into Capricorn at 4:48pm so there is friction, sobering things up and pushing to make them happen or out of sorts and challenging us but usually with Jupiter involved, it will be in more of a big way rather than a bad way.

Today is the Winter Solstice marked by the Sun's entry into Capricorn, so we have a new winter chart for the country that covers the next 3 months. This chart holds Cancer Rising which is a Cardinal sign, one of action and leadership so we are likely to see a lot happening in the next 3 months. It is about home, country, land, family, and emotional needs so these things take center stage. The Moon is found in the 6th house, along with the Sun, so it would seem we have a lot of work to do, or jobs are front and center, or health topics are more important, or animals are an important topic. For the country this can show through leadership and the people, or in our own lives through our emotional drive and physical activity. It looks as though the people are in a better position in this chart than the leadership so perhaps, we may be heard finally. Mars is Retrograde in the 12th house of this chart in Gemini, so we do still have those taking action in secret or who are two-faced and hiding things during this phase, so really listen for the 'tells' and feel things out before agreeing to anything. On the bigger stage this is likely to be linked to big tech or the internet, groups or charities. The banks or WallStreet or other financial institutions are under real pressure in square to Uranus in this chart. So, there could be a sudden, shocking shake-up or there could be a lot of friction during this period over digital money/systems. Let's keep an eye on Feb 5th, give or take a couple days, as the Full Moon squares and opposes these planets at this time. For those of you seeking artistic interests, romance, or spirituality, this period holds potential. It is elevated and in flow with the more profound, however it looks like there is some circuitous route to getting there, rather than straight forward approaches, so don't give up!

Finally, today, we have an opposition to Mars which is likely to get us fired up and active, passionate, angry, or motivated with another over something big, yep, it's big again, what can I say, lol?
