Today is the Mercury Retrograde Midpoint/Turning Point. We should hear news, have an idea, meet or talk with someone, write something down, or make a choice today that tips things one way or the other or gives us the insight we need to know what we want to do next when it comes to our do-over with lovers, our love life, creative ventures, dramas, entitlement issues, children, or recreational pursuits. Uranus is in wild card mode early this morning, (perhaps experienced last night in the build-up) regarding a possession, purchase, the income, or products. This could mean something last minute, suddenly changing or surprising around these topics. Aquarius Moon is keeping us focused on aspirations or feeling more social, helping with online interests, or freeing us up to pursue what we will. There is adjustment here involving Venus and flow when it comes to Jupiter. So, give and take around love or income in the story or what is going on with beauty or pleasure here, while going big or feeling more buoyant, optimistic, or expansive in talks, with ideas, flirtations, or choices in the mix.

MONDAY is about : 1) a powerful Full Moon in Aquarius, culminating around 2:26pm Eastern. We are now at the peak of the energy with friends, groups, associates, clubs, organizations, charities, astrology, the internet, big tech, causes, aspirations, gatherings, and original projects. This may bring major endings, wrap-ups, achievements, or celebrations. 2) the Full Moon Sun and Moon are in a T-square to Uranus in Taurus. This puts more friction into what is building and ending, achieved, or celebrated with the above Aquarius themes. It gets us to look at lovers, kids, creativity, drama, entitlement, or recreation in the story, while Uranus brings a wild card, something unexpected, last minute, surprising, or suddenly changing around what we value, how we are being valued, around our income, or involving possessions, gifts, products, or purchases in the mix. 3) another T-square (frictional energy pattern) between Venus in Virgo, Jupiter in Gemini and Saturn in Pisces. This one pushes us regarding love or money flow, beauty or pleasure needs, and our work or health, animals or paperwork, or hired help or co-workers. Big news, talks or decisions are in play here along with any limits, no’s, endings, or ambitions involving institutions, secrets, addictions, karmic matters, research, artistic pursuits, romance, or spirituality. 4) the peak of the Jupiter/Saturn square. We are at the height of the first challenge arising from these two and the story they began back in Dec 2020. Look at growth verses reality. There could be a really frustrating conversation or challenging news or choices to make. There is something to work out here between communications and decisions around legal, travel, distant, media, educational, ceremonial, religious, or political themes, and what is serious, involving rules, endings, authority figures, or commitments with institutions, research, investigations, addictions, secrets, artistic matters, romance, or spirituality. It's one heck of a day.

TUESDAY is a continuation around any growth verses rules, limits, or endings. Look at institutions, research, addictions, secrets, karma, artistic, romantic, or spiritual matters verses talks, news, meetings, short trips, vehicles, electronics, siblings, neighbors, moves, and anything legal, travel, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political to still be front and center today.

WEDNESDAY we will want to be flexible when it comes to our own involvement or needs with lovers, kids, creativity, dramas, or recreation. Institutions, research, recuperative needs, addictions, secrets, artistic, romantic, or spiritual influences are still front and center in our day and where we should adapt.

THURSDAY the Sun moves into Virgo for a 30-day tour, urging us to show up and get more involved in our own interests at or about work, with health, the animals, paperwork, hired help, or co-workers. Today this asks for some adjustment financially, sexually, with divorce, or third-party matters. Venus and Mars square so there is more spark and attraction/repulsion around love and sex, motivation and making money, or what we are doing about beauty, pleasure, talks, sales, meetings, short trips, work, health, animals, paperwork, hired help, or co-workers. There is potential tonight into early tomorrow morning for some really positive news or ideas, talks or meetings, sales or offers to come through, think big!

FRIDAY we have flow with mercury Retrograde so talk, meet, revisit, rekindle, release, or rework things with past or ongoing stories involving our love life, lover, children, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits. The Moon moves into Taurus at 8pm Eastern and squares Pluto in Aquarius for the first 17 minutes. So we may be taking on something about income, purchases, possessions, products, and other financial resources right off the bat but this then shifts into flow with the Sun in Virgo the rest of the night. This should link earning, spending, and what we do with possessions or products to the work or health needs, co-workers or hired help, paperwork or animals, or cleaning and organizing, sweet.

SATURDAY puts Mercury Retrograde into flow with Mars. This is great for talking, meeting, or making choices involving past or ongoing stories with lovers, kids, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits, and how this is linked to passion or more action or motivation locally, in talks or meetings, with sales, offers, or decisions in the mix. There is also potential to open something up around institutions, research, artistic, romantic, or spiritual interests the further the day goes, and this would be solid.

SUNDAY morning may start off with some challenging news or talk but this should give way quickly and open up the rest of the day in flow with love or money, beauty or pleasure, earning, purchasing, or possessions, any social influences or online pursuits, the magic, inspiration, romance, artistry, or spirituality. Gemini Moon kicks in at 11:04pm Eastern and forms a positive alignment with Pluto so we may wrap the night with more offers, talks or choices tied to financial, sexual, or third-party influences, doors open.

SATURDAY AUGUST 17th                   

It's a good day to go after any personal goals, connect with someone in a higher position, especially if it is about any past or ongoing work or health situation, animals, paperwork, hired help, or co-workers, and to get some solid things done. We have a short Void Moon from 4:43pm-5:45pm Eastern and then the Moon heads into Aquarius. Once in Aquarius it is officially building to the Full Moon in Aquarius that peaks by Monday afternoon. So, we may feel more strongly about a friend or associate, a group activity or online interest, our astrology or charities, a cause, original project, or aspiration, or something going on at a gathering. We can start to have those climactic moments as something is coming to an end or we are reaching a goal or celebrating a high point with this energy as it gets stronger. Mom warnings: Of course, be extra cautious at big gatherings or avoid them now through Monday since the energy is highly charged, frictional and building/culminating now. And be extra cautious on the road with Mars activating and accident prone with Jupiter, taking things bigger, and square Saturn-endings, I've definitely heard way more than normal stories in the past couple weeks of people and animals crossing over in accidents.

Well, no surprise, I get on last night to do the Weekly Astro Show and get Blog Talk Radios recording saying they are having issues with their site. When I saw it was right before the Mars/Saturn square yesterday morning I figured there might be issues. I will be trying to get on today and will post a link to the Weekly Astro Show once it is up. Mars squared Saturn at 1:30am Eastern this morning (10:30pm Pacific last night) so we are coming out of his activation but dealing with these influences today as the Capricorn Moon will sextile Saturn and inconjunct Mars by this evening. Therefore, look at goals and what is going on with institutions, research, addictions, secrets, artistic pursuits, water interests, boundaries, illness, spiritual pursuits, authority figures, career needs, or romance. There is an open door to putting in time, making commitments, structuring support, ending something, tackling responsibilities, recharging batteries, or getting ambitious here. Also be flexible when it comes to short trips, local activities, siblings, neighbors, vehicles, or electronics in the mix, or about heated words, ideas, passions, anger, meetings, sales, what is written, or agreed upon today.

It is so interesting that last week and even last month when talking about how big this period would be as Jupiter squares Saturn and Mars activates it this week and next, we already have 3 examples of the biggest things happening that fit the bill of things going big/over the top, impacting the establishment or involving leadership; 1) the largest cyber-attack on record obtaining 2.9 billion peoples info including SS numbers, 2) the Elon/Trump interview breaking online listener records with over a billion, and 3) the WHO declaring a State of Emergency over a new pandemic. I really hope that is all but Jupiter does not perfect the square to Saturn until Monday under a very frictional Full Moon that day so we may still be in for more.

Venus continues to be in positive flow today helping with love or income, beauty or pleasure and the details involved. This plays out through Virgo so we might find this through work or being of service, through health pursuits, with animals, co-workers, hired help, or paperwork. Sounds good.

THURSDAY AUGUST 15th                   

It's our monthly Sage Moon square Neptune morning so a bit foggy, sleep interrupted, drained, or weird vibe as we slowly get our energy back on track. Is there something deceptive we're hearing from afar? Are we self-sabotaging in some way? Does the political, religious, media, legal, educational, or travel scenario have a test tied to it this morning? Do we need to tackle something about the beliefs we hold dear? We could also be dealing with something about water, boundaries, or hidden agendas right off the bat, ugh.

Mercury Retrograde is active today bringing in news, ideas, talks, short trips, writing, sales, offers, or decisions in our do-over with the kids, a lover, our creative ventures, a drama, any entitlement issues, or recreational pursuits. This is in flow this morning with travel plans, distant situations, legal needs, educational pursuits, media ventures, politics, or religious topics. It is however, asking for some flexibility around institutions, research, artistic needs, addictions, secrets, romantic arenas, or spiritual pursuits.

The Moon enters Capricorn at 1:51pm Eastern and I think the energy shift will be felt as we will build to a lovely harmonic with Venus just after the end of the day so we may feel as though we are making some headway with our love or money goals or with beauty or pleasure around us. However, keep in mind that Mars continues to build to his square to Saturn which perfects at 1:30am Eastern tomorrow in the wee hours/10:30pm Pacific tonight. This is a reality check about something and the finite parameter around a situation, something that will expand over the days ahead until its peak between the outer planets on Monday. So, what line cannot be crossed? Where is the no, the limit, the time? What's happening with a leader/authority figure, the establishment, commitments, endings, responsibilities, or ambitions that is up against a final 'strike you're out' influence or a defining moment via Mars in Gemini? 

Remember Mars is about motivation, anger, weapons, accidents, blood, the military, the police, war, passions, and action. He is in Gemini so this may express in a dual or duplicitous way, through diplomatic channels, the neighborhood, a short trip, move, vehicle, the electronics, sibling, writing, sales, talks, or meetings. Therefore, keep a handle on angry words if you can help it, be extra cautious while out on the road, with electronics, etc. If something you are trying to do is blocked take it as a sign of Divine Timing and refocus elsewhere for the time being until this passes. Do look at whatever is testing you in these areas as opportunities to get serious about what you need to do next.

In short, I'm thinking it's a hold onto your ass and say a little prayer kind of day in summation, lol. Perhaps we've already had it out since Mars likes to arrive early. We did get the Mars in Gemini announcement about another State of Emergency around the new pandemic, as the authority and behind the scenes machinations continue to impact the souls here on Earth so maybe we will have that be it as far as the world stage goes, um nope, I'm doubting it, better we buckle up. Mars conjuncts Jupiter at 11:22am Eastern. This begins his activation of the Jupiter/Saturn Square which builds and then perfects on Monday, remaining in play until the following Friday. Mars on Jupiter is very big news, talks or meetings, short trips, writing or sales, something with neighbors, siblings, vehicles, or electronics, or offers and decisions. This may be militant, angry, aggressive, passionate, combative, or motivational and involve legal matters, travel plans, situations at a distance, media, higher education, ceremonies, religion, or politics. It is instantly in a building, frictional alignment with Saturn, so the time, rules, limits, structures that support/don't support, authority figures, goals, or responsibilities, and what is going on with institutions, research, investigations, addictions, secrets, artistic interests, romance, or spirituality are in the story in a testing way.

Mercury Retrograde forms his last alignment from Virgo bringing news, talks or decisions involving past or ongoing stories and the do-over about a work, health or animal matter, hired help or co-workers, or paperwork, and the need to make adjustments around power, control, financial needs, sex, reproductive matters, divorce, a death, birth, or third-party situation. Freedoms, friendships, online interplay, or aspirations may play into what is going on here, be flexible.

At 8:16pm Eastern Mercury Retrograde exits Virgo and enters Leo where we will now be working through our do-over until the 28th. These 2 weeks are about revisiting past or ongoing stories about creative talents or creative projects, children, dramas, entitlement issues, courage, a Leo, a lover, our love life, or something recreational. We can revise, rekindle, rework, or release here via talks, meetings, sales, writing, short trips, moves, offers, or decisions with or about these topics. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Aug 13th

TUESDAY AUGUST 13th                   

Our day today is in flow between the Sagittarius Moon and Pluto in Aquarius. So, we should feel like pursuing our aspirations, going big, finding our happy place, and making any changes we might want to make. Sage Moon can help us with travel, legal, educational, or media interests, it can bring all kinds of beliefs into our story, it can focus on its alignment to Pluto in going deeper into things, tackling jealousy, getting sexual, focusing on the financial interests, or working in third party scenarios. It can bring social, online or original interests into the story. If we stay in these arenas we have open doors today. Now, for the testing stuff we have Mercury Retrograde in Square to this Moon so at some point we're likely to hear from someone past, run into them, have a mechanical or electrical issue, a mix-up, or other glitchy MR moment and it will focus on work or health situations, the details of a story, people hired or that we work with, animals, or paperwork.
