The Moon opportunes Jupiter, the Moon opportunes Mercury, the Moon opportunes Mars, the Moon opportunes Uranus, door open, door open, door open, door open, and in the midst of all this flow we have the Sun and Venus Retrograde merging energy for a fresh start marking the Midpoint/Turning point of the Venus Retrograde, what a day! So, first things first, the Moon is still in Cancer, so we come from our emotions and desire to take care of or connect, and we focus on home, family, real estate, moves, renovations, history, ancestry, parents, or roommates. The doors open involve anything we are doing with possessions, purchases, or income in the story, and we may find this involves travel, distant, legal or educational pursuits, friends, groups, or the internet, media, ceremonies, religion, or politics, or how we are being generous, expanding or focusing on values in the mix. The open doors are also bringing work or health pursuits into it or involving animals, cleaning, paperwork, hired help, or co-workers. Here we can talk, meet, write things up, focus on sales, short trips, our passions, and activities about it. I'm thinking I'm glad I got up early, lol! Today looks like a happy groove! Our Cancer Moon is getting us focused on the things we have emotional connection to; home, family, history, land, country, or anything by extension: renovations, moves, real estate deals, the people we live with, or our parents. We have solid, harmonious flow with Saturn from this helping us get serious, tackle responsibilities, put in time and effort, build structures to support, or get ambitious about anything artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, or research-oriented in the mix. We also have opportunity with Jupiter from this Cancer Moon so we should feel more buoyant, generous, happy, or focused on adventure or prosperity. This comes through growth potential around being valued, our values, a purchase, or possessions, or income in the story and may stem from a trip, legal agreements, teaching or learning, media, ceremonies, religious experience, or politics. Yargy, we're in a square to Neptune until around 1:30pm Eastern so it may mean a bit of an energy drain or slow start to the day or perhaps we are just a bit lost in something artistic, spiritual or romantic until then. For some it could mean dealings with institutions that need to be tackled pushing us a bit more. We also have some give and take around financial, sexual or third-party stories today so keep flexibility in mind with these topics. The Moon moves into Cancer at 6:52pm Eastern and will be in harmony with Saturn in Pisces the rest of the night so we should have nice energy at home or with family and back into flow when it comes to the artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, or research themes in the mix. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Aug 10th

This energy today kinda cracked me up a bit as in the short it could be looked at as 'I'm calling in sick from work because I really need a play date.' But let's look at it a bit more. It's centered around Gemini Moon needs, so we want to do two things at once or need to, we have a whole lot to say, write, sign, sell, hear, or decide, and/or we want to get out there locally, jet out on a short trip or two, or focus on moves, vehicles, electronics, siblings, or neighbors today. As far as the work, health, details, or any paperwork, animal interests, cleaning, or situations with co-workers or hired help go, well, this is all in square with both Mercury and Mars, so we'd need to push ourselves when it comes to this stuff today. On the other hand, when it comes to creativity, recreation, lovers, or kids, well that is in an opportunity alignment, encouraging for us to show up and go for what we want while the doors are open. What an interesting day! Our morning starts out with something exciting or changing or different thanks to Uranus getting fired up through friends, groups, the internet, astrology, charities, or aspirations and the money we make, a purchase or what's going on with possessions. This is tied to our do-over with Venus Retrograde so look at revisiting, releasing, rekindling, or reworking something with a lover, the kids, a creative endeavor, recreational pursuits, the love, money, beauty, or pleasure as it goes. Next, Gemini Moon is now in play, so we are getting focused on our talks, short trips, writing, sales, meetings, or what's going on with siblings, neighbors, moves, vehicles, or electronics today. This is met with a square to Saturn that is in play until 6:45pm Eastern/3:45pm Pacific and will likely slow this down a bit through adding more responsibilities, limits or ambitions to deal with elsewhere or get us more serious. Expect institutions, research, the need for rest and recuperation, artistic interests, romance, spiritual pursuits, or something hidden to be the culprit here. Finally, overlaying all of this and strongest up until around 9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific is a lovely trine between Mercury in Virgo and Jupiter in Taurus. This is great for talks, news, offers, meetings, sales, writing, short trips, or decisions involving work or health needs, the animals, any paperwork, or with co-workers or hired help, that leads to big things involving income, purchases or possessions and the legal agreements, travel involved, growth, media, marketing, the educational side of the story, or the politics, religious interests, or ceremonies involved. The bulk of this day brings lots of activity and excitement with things in flow. The topics covered with this flow have to do with income, purchases, possessions, or products, the work or health we are pursuing, what we're doing with animals, paperwork, hired help, or co-workers, and any social, online or aspirational moments along the way. Venus Retrograde brings up a small but necessary speed bump tonight or for some of you early birds, before that, having to do with our do-over about love, lovers, money, beauty, pleasure, the kids, entitlement, drama, creative ventures, or recreation. So if something doesn't go as planned take a breath, if there is a last minute change or reversal, a mix-up or past scenario returning, you know the drill, take a look at it as a message about what you are supposed to be addressing (not about them, it, or that, but about your own part/needs/involvement) and how you can readdress it or rework it or let it go. This one looks small to me so perhaps since Taurus moon is involved the question should be, 'What do I really value in this situation?'
