Happy Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio! We reach the climax point at 1:34pm Eastern/10:34am Pacific so if you have not had your big moment with a financial matter, your sense of power or control, a sexual attraction or issue, jealousy or obsession, manipulation or crime, a birth, death, or divorce, or a third-party matter since we entered the Trigger Field and build-up to this peak on Monday May 1st, then you may still be seeing it peak today. Overall, Scorpio energy at Full Moon time and in an Eclipse peak is about destruction of the old to make way for a rebirthing process or at the very least a complete transformation after having gone into the murky depths of whatever it is you are facing at this point, so it can feel intense or has this week leading up to its peak. The DAILY ASTROLOGY May 4th

Yes, it's work, it is not easy, going into the depths, facing those things we keep buried and for good reason, for good reason. However, if we keep showing up for it, if we continue to be raw and courageous, we might just have a breakthrough of all breakthroughs sometime in the next 48 hours. The test today in this story is to not get caught up in the 'out there' but to go just a little bit deeper into ourselves, and to look at where we might feel a bit lost concerning love, intimacy, power, change, or control. Questions we could ask today might be 'Why am I in this Karmic situation?' 'Am I doing the work to burn off Karma or rebalance it or am I creating it anew?', 'Why would I self-sabotage love, what am I afraid of?' 'If it, they, that are a reflection of my own pain then what do I do to heal it?' Don't worry, it should not consume the entire day, as the mist lifts later in the afternoon, (sooner for some), and we start to find support and structure coming into flow, there should be a renewed sense of optimism in love, in whatever way we may decide to direct it. My final thought to leave you with is that the word given to describe the degree that this Eclipse is building to climax on tomorrow is 'Perspective'. It might therefore be a good exercise in discernment to find 3 different perspectives on whatever this is for you, you already know yours, what is theirs and how would a third party see it? Today is our last day of adjustments with Libra Moon energy and it should peak by 1:30pm Eastern/10:30am Pacific today, give or take. So, again our focus is on balance, justice, higher esthetics, and those relationships: partners, clients, specialists, competitors, opponents, agents, attorney, advocates, or the like. There can be last-minute changes as part of what you are adjusting to or surprises, online pursuits, or social influences in the mix, or there could be some adaptation around income, purchases, possessions, or products going on with them. We then hit the square to Mars the rest of the afternoon, although Mars notoriously likes to come early so, I'd say anytime between this morning and dinner time is most likely, with a peak at 5:10pm Eastern/2:10pm Pacific. Mars brings more spark of passion into what is going on with them or anger and fights, or motivating forces that push you to make something happen, and the focus is emotional or on home, family, real estate deals, moves, renovations, parents, or roommates. After this is done, we move into the good stuff, the harmonic with Venus in Gemini. This means we can find the loving words to make up if we fought or we can have more talks, offers, meetings, or decisions involving love or income, beauty or pleasure with these partners, clients, specialists, reps, or other relationships. Our week ahead is powerful and linked to the Taurus/Scorpio axis in our charts as well as to Pluto and Venus and what is happening with them. This means we have a focus on the big changes taking place in our lives and where we are with love, finances and values. Expect this week ahead to help nudge something one way or the other regarding these influences.

MONDAY, FRIDAY and SUNDAY are the big days to stand out with these energies, but they will be felt the entire week. MONDAY Pluto Retrogrades. MONDAY we enter the Trigger Field of the Pluto-ruled Lunar Eclipse taking place in Scorpio on FRIDAY. MONDAY we reach the midpoint/turning point of the Mercury Retrograde. So, let’s look at those 3 things.

1) Pluto Retrograde kicks in at 1:09pm Eastern and this shift in the energy means we are shifting gears when it comes to power, control, sex, finances, birth, death, divorce, or third-party influences and what has been occurring with our aspirations, freedoms, friendships, groups, the internet, or other social scenarios. It’s time to head back to the past to rekindle something, exit something altogether or rework an ongoing scenario to get it right and we have until June 11th with Pluto Retrograding in Aquarius and these topics. Pay attention to what shifts today or through the week ahead in one or more of these arenas for clues.

2) The Trigger Field for the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse runs from MONDAY the 1st through next TUESDAY the 9th, with the climaxing point on FRIDAY the 5th at the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. This means we can have events any time during this period but with a definite climax on FRIDAY. It is about loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, insurance, investments, alimony, child support, a partner’s money, or any other financial resources, or about sex, reproduction, birth, death, divorce, crime, control, power, or third-party influences. Whichever one or more of these are front and center in your life, you can now see a powerful ending, achievement or celebration as things reach their peak point in the story. Do note that this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse sits opposite Mercury Retrograde and Uranus in Taurus bringing your Mercury Retrograde do-over (read #3 below) and some surprises, excitement spontaneity, shock, sudden change, or innovations into it thanks to Uranus.

3) The Midpoint/Turning point of the Mercury Retrograde occurs in Taurus on MONDAY so in the ongoing do-over with values, being valued, income flow, the things we build, possessions, products, or purchases, you have reached the day when something should slot into place regarding what you have needed to review, release, rekindle, or rework past or present in these areas. SUNDAY Venus moves into Cancer at 10:25am Eastern taking love, income, beauty, and pleasure into the sign of emotions, family, home, real estate deals, moves, renovations, parents, history, and roommates now through June 5th. It is important to note that Venus rules this Mercury Retrograde so this shift on SUNDAY can nudge us one way or the other in our do-over with income, purchases, values, being valued, possessions, products, or the things we are building as we reassess, release, rekindle, or rework. This nudge now being more emotional or involving home or family, or the other Cancer themes and this stays in play throughout the rest of the Mercury Retrograde.

My whole life I would see my Father gathering flowers to leave for my Mom to find on May Day, such a nice tradition and such a romantic man he was, so I wish you all a lovely May Day and hope you find a flower or two along the way on your journey through the day. If you read the Weekly or listened to the show, then you know what a powerful first day of May we have today. There are four things going on. FIRST, it's our last full day of Virgo Moon energy guiding us to tend to the details of our lives, be of service, do the work, take steps towards better health, spend time with our animals, clean, organize, and work with others. There seems to be a push this early part of the day with these topics involving how we are beautifying things or what is going on with beautiful objects, income, love, or pleasure in the story. We may wish to be adaptive when it comes to how big we go and at some point, find another to involve in our dreams about it. SECOND Pluto Retrogrades today at 1:09pm Eastern/10:09am Pacific. We've all seen how much of an impact just these first few weeks into Pluto in Aquarius have had on our aspirations in life along with our friendships, online pursuits, groups, and freedoms.
