MAY MONTHLY HOROSCOPES by Zoe Moon

We start May with an important shift in our Destiny and Karmic points so we really want to pay attention to what is going on in our world around this time period. First, the North Node of Destiny is going to enter Gemini for the first time in 18 years on May 5th and swoosh, just like that, we all are being guided towards our Destiny for the next year and a half through Gemini topics and where they fall for our sign. This means our talks and meetings, writing and interviews, sales and agreements, community and short trips to nearby places, neighbors and siblings, vehicles and electronics, and offers and decisions will become the place that these things are playing out. At the same time the North Node of Destiny moves into Gemini, the Karmic South Node moves into Sagittarius. So, over the next 18 months we will be visited with whatever karma we need to tackle via travel to far off places, foreign interests, import/export, distance between people, the media, marketing, publishing, or broadcasting, higher education, legal matters, weddings, other ceremonies, religion, philosophy, or politics. Here is where we may experience loss, a rebalancing of the Karmic give and take in a situation or the return of a past life soul who is ready to reconnect with us. Again, pay attention to what is happening in these areas of life since you’ll be working with Destiny and Karmic matters until Jan 8th, 2022.

The Full Moon on the 7th is in Scorpio so we enter the month with something building up here to a climax with the things Scorpio rules; loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, insurance, investments, settlements, alimony, child support, a partner’s money, or other financial resources, or it can be about sex, reproduction, jealousy, triangles, power, control, birth, death, divorce, or transformative experiences. So, head into the first week with an eye on what is ending, what is wrapping up, what is achieved, or what is celebratory here.

We’ve been getting a taste of what Saturn in Aquarius is going to be about in the years ahead in his preview run in this sign between March 21st and July 1st. This means we’ve seen what tests, limits, endings, responsibilities, commitments, time, authority figures, goals, structuring, rules and regulations, or ambitions are going to be doing to our aspirations, original projects, freedoms, internet, astrology, charities, gatherings, friendships, associations, group activities, or causes. On the 11th Saturn will start to Retrograde out of here, now through July 1st, so we slow down a bit or we head into a mini-do-over period where we might let go of something, return to the past or concentrate on an ongoing situation to rework it. Heads up, Saturn returns to this territory on Dec 17th this year and stays until March 7, 2023 so it’s important to take it seriously, it’s going to get real.

Mercury moves into his own sign, Gemini, on the 11th where he will tour until the 28th. These weeks should therefore bring more talks, meetings, flirtations, ideas, sales, writing, interviews, offers, short trips, local activities, or decisions, as well as more going on with siblings, neighbors, vehicles, or electronics. While Mercury is opening up our mind and getting us communicating or into commerce moving forward, Venus will start her Retrograde in the same territory, starting on the 13th. Venus is taking us back over old ground now or she is taking a break, it’s time to review, release, rekindle, or rework things ongoing or past or step out of the picture for a bit to figure something out. Some won’t have a choice as another will be pulled away or exit for a few weeks or for good, depending on your story. What we do know is that she is now in flux until June 25th and she is about love, income, women, or beauty, expect the news, talks, ideas, flirtations, short trips, and all the other Gemini topics to reflect this shift in direction. Some examples for you with Venus Retrograde would be you take a short trip to a nearby place and run into an old lover or you pull out some old writing project and decide to fine tune it because you think it might have earning potential or you and your current love interest decide to hole up away from the world to rekindle the flame, or your lover has to focus on their sales over the weeks ahead so you don’t see each other as much and it tests the relationship. You get the idea, it is like Venus is the ocean and her tide is pulling out, if you fight the flow you are only going to drain your energy. Rather let it ebb and wait for it to return to you or decide to reconnect with the opportunities it brings, see what the universe wants you to figure out in the weeks ahead.

On the 20th the Sun will move into Gemini with Mercury moving forward and Venus moving backwards and he is going to put a big ole spotlight on the territory for the next 30 days. This means we are going to be urged to show up and get more personally or physically involved in the talks, meetings, flirtations, ideas, writing, sales, agreements, proposals, interviews, short trips, offers, local activities, or with siblings, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, moves, or decisions. This should help you make it about your interests here or stand out in some way. Then, on the 23rd there is a New Moon in this same territory so we now get 2 weeks of momentum behind what we begin that is new or what we do to take a current interest to the next level, chapter or into a new direction. That’s a whole lot of Gemini energy going on folks, make the most of it.

On the 13th Mars moves into new territory, taking up residence in Pisces, oh my. Now, straight up, Mars is not so loving being in this territory because he is a fire sign and wants to charge in and make things happen while Pisces is a water sign and has no boundaries and can be foggy and well, it’s kinda like running on the bottom of a pool for him. Nevertheless, Pisces is inspirational, magical, artistic, romantic, spiritual, karmic, and can also help with research, investigations, addictions, secrets, deceptions, or institutions. So, over the weeks ahead, until June 27th, make the most of Mars and his passion, motivation, determination, courage, aggression, or action in these areas with an eye on his tendency to be a bit angry or explosive about the same topics from time to time. You really can make things happen, you may just have to ‘feel’ your way through it.

On the 14th Jupiter Retrogrades in Capricorn and he will now be taking you back over old territory or taking a break here until Sept 12th. So, these months ahead are about slowing down a bit, catching your breath or taking a break, or reworking, releasing or rekindling things past or present about travel plans, legal matters, educational pursuits, wedding plans, ceremonies, media ventures, marketing ideas, philosophy, politics, or religion and how these matters might be impacting your career plans or the boss, parent, judge, or other authority figure or some personal goal of yours. It’s a do-over, the last one you get with this combo for another 12 years, so take your time, figure it out. Examples of this might be deciding to take that training that was offered a while back to improve your career potential or thinking about relocating to some far off place to be closer to your parent or a career opportunity or some other personal goal, renegotiating the legal contract on the job or going back to a media company that offered you a position in the past. Look at the list and think about what you might want to tweak a bit and get busy.

Finally, on the 28th, Mercury heads into Cancer. At this point our minds turn more towards our home and family, history or ancestry, parents or roommates, moves or renovations, or real estate deals or security needs. We might also focus more on our emotional needs or nurturing during the weeks ahead. Mercury will now bring more talks, ideas, meetings, interviews, offers, sales, writing, agreements, short trips, local activities, or decisions about these matters or might bring siblings, neighbors, moves, vehicles, or electronics into the story. Mercury will travel here until 18th at which point Mercury will Retrograde and back over all these topics for a do-over, go Direct on July 12th taking things forward again, finally exiting the sign on Aug 4th. In other words, you have plenty of time to figure this one out, plan on it being a long story!

Alright, Aries, think back to what was going on in your life between Oct 2001-Apr 2003, or before that between Mar 1983-Sept 1984. This month we re-enter a similar Destiny and Karma cycle that commences on May 5th and runs until Jan 8th, 2022. This month we re-enter a similar Destiny and Karma cycle that commences on May 5th and runs until Jan 8th, 2022. So, in this area of life you may be seeing something exit or you may be rebalancing the karmic give and take in a situation or you may have a past-life soul returning to reconnect with you via one of these areas of life to carry forward with you again. Pay attention to what is going on around this time for clues about what it might be for you.

It seems that in the month of May the cosmos is leaning more towards your Destiny side of the equation so let’s look at that. First, on the 11th, Mercury enters this territory of home, family, real estate deals, moves, renovations, parents, and roommates. He will tour here from now through the 28th so this brings more talks and meetings, sales and agreements, writing and interviews, offers or decisions, or involvement with siblings, neighbors, electronics, vehicles, short trips, or local activities about it. Next, Venus begins her Retrograde in this same arena starting on the 13th and she will now be slowing you down a bit and asking you to review, release, rekindle, or rework past or ongoing interests until her Retrograde ends on June 25th. Venus is about the love, income or beauty in the story with your home, move, family, parents, roommates, real estate deals, or renovations, so take your time, figure this out. Next, the Sun joins in the story starting on the 20th by putting a spotlight on your home, family, parents, roommates, moves, renovations, and real estate deals for the next 30 days. This is your cue to show up and get more personally or physically involved in these interests or to make it more about your needs in the equation or your name, title, brand, name, or body in the story here. Finally, on the 22nd there is a New Moon in this territory so you get a cosmic boost forward that lasts 2 weeks and can help propel you into something new or to take a current situation into that next chapter when it comes to your home, real estate deals, moves, renovations, family, parents, or roommates. See?! Really be on the look-out for Destiny here with so much going on Pisces.

The Full Moon on the 7th is about what is peaking for you with travel plans or a situation at a distance, legal matters, educational pursuits, media projects, marketing ideas, weddings or other ceremonies, religious interests, or politics. You may be wrapping things up or marking an ending or you may be celebrating or achieving goals here or a bit of all of the above, it’s a peak moment.

Saturn has been showing you what he wants you to get serious about in your 12th house over the past couple months as he ventured here for the first time in 29 years back on March 21st. This means you’ve been seeing tests, limits, rules, regulations, responsibilities, endings, commitments, structuring of things, a push for a new level of self-mastery, and ambitions focused on art, film, music, painting, poetry, romance, prayer, mediation, yoga, magic, psychic abilities, research, investigations, secrets, deceptions, tackling addictions, bad habits, dreams, rest and recuperation, or institutions such as hospitals, spas, retreats, prisons, or universities. Saturn in this territory can also ask that you face karmic situations or feelings of isolation, depression or sadness as well from time to time. Now, on the 11th, Saturn Retrogrades and you start to see this slow down and a period now through July 1st where you can review, release, rekindle, or rework any past or ongoing situations here. You’ll then get a break from all of this as Saturn exits this territory July 1st until his return here on Dec 17th at which point he’ll be back helping you get laser focused on what stays, what goes and what’s next with these matters through March 7, 2023.

On the 13th of the month Mars heads into your sign for the first time in 2 years! This is going to fire you up and get you far more passionate, angry or motivated about what you want. It brings a sense of urgency and action to your needs and should help you to get busier than you’ve been in that time on your body, image, brand, name, title, identity, involvement in things, or personal needs. Of course, as a Pisces, this may mean it’s about your artistic, spiritual or romantic interests on a personal or physical level or it could mean it’s about quitting bad habits or addictions, researching what you need or connecting with those institutions about it. Mars will give you an edge in all of this until June 27th so make the most of it.

Jupiter then Retrogrades on the 14th and you start to slow down a bit or review, release, rekindle, or rework things with a friend, associate, group, the internet, astrology, charities, gatherings, aspirations, freedoms, or original projects. Jupiter’s focus here may mean this involves a trip or situation at a distance, your media or marketing interests, legal agreements or educational pursuits, weddings or other ceremonies, or religious or political interests in the mix. Take your time, you have several months to figure this out.

Finally, Mercury heads into your zone of true love and lovers, the kids, your creative endeavors, and recreational pursuits starting on the 28th. This should open up more talks or meetings about it, get you into sales, writing, interviews, or offers about it, make it about the short trips or local activities here, or get you to make a decision here over the weeks ahead. These matters will be in play for an extended period thanks to Mercury’s upcoming Retrograde June 18th. So, take your time, you’ll be moving ahead, then slowing down and reworking it or taking a break, then back in forward motion again. Mercury goes Direct July 12th and exits this territory Aug 4th, yep, plenty of time to figure this one out.
