The DAILY ASTROLOGY Sept 7

Happy Labor Day! For the past 50 years someone in my family was on the wraparound porch in the small town I grew up in, watching the Labor Day parade. So, it is a bit sentimental for me this morning, thinking about days gone by. I suppose I will be starting a new tradition today, out here in the mountains. Most likely sitting in our his and hers lawn rockers watching the deer pass by, lol. Anyway, I share this with you because that is somewhat the tenure of the morning as the Cancer Moon squares Venus. We may be noting the end of some part of a tradition or feeling our emotions tested a bit over something pulling on our heart strings. This in turn is making way for the new version that is percolating around us.

If this is not your story there are other ways Cancer Moon square Venus could be playing out; for some it may be that there is a push to get things looking lovely before the friends or folks arrive, for some it may be about having no real time for love or pleasure just yet as there is too much going on at home that requires attention in the morning. For some it could be that there are obstacles to the money-making tract due to Holiday closures. The good news is, we move past or through this rather quickly and by the time the Moon enters Leo, at 12:49pm Eastern, we should be brushing ourselves off and getting into the enjoyment of the day.

Our focus is now on fun, the kids, our lover, or creative outlets. This should bring powerful moments with our one-on-ones about it, with friends or groups or gatherings in the mix, or online. We should find our own flow via our evolving spiritual, artistic, or romantic side. And there can be some exciting or surprising moments via phone calls, emails, talks, meetings, local activities, short trips, or with a sibling or neighbor, doors open. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Sept 1

Happy Labor Day! I hope your day is fun. We have 2 things going on today. First, we are in Sagittarius Moon until 9:45pm Eastern so most of the day is focused on big, over the top interests, having fun, seeking happiness, prosperity, or adventure. This is in flow with Mercury which can bring some nice news, talks, or decisions involving said fun, our creative interests, a lover, love in general, or with the kids. By the end of the Sagittarius Moon there is a square to Saturn so we may need to pace ourselves as far as our energy goes or there may be duty calling that pulls us away from some of this at some point.

Next, and probably the biggest deal today, is that Saturn returned to Pisces early this morning and will now be Retrograding through this sign, backing from 29 to 25 degrees now through Nov 27th, then going Direct in Pisces from Nov 27-Feb 14, not to return again to the sign until the year 2052. I guess Saturn was interested in spanning the Holidays since it Retrogrades on Labor Day, goes Direct on Thanksgiving Day, and then will exit Pisces altogether on Valentine's Day, lol. Anyway, this is our last time for several decades of Saturn Retrograde and Direct one last time in Pisces so during the Retrograde period starting today we need to really clear out, let go, and go within a bit more around the serious stuff over the next few months.

Pisces is where our Karmic connections/past life issues/people, and scenarios resides. It is where we sneak around in affairs, have secrets or are deceptive about anything. It is where we get inspired, make music, film, or enjoy the arts. It is where we rest, recuperate and recharge our batteries. It is where we pray, meditate, have visions, get signs, or dream between veils. It is where we feel isolated or depressed. It is the land of fantasy and the imagination. It is about our research or investigations. And it is about self-undoing, addictions, bad habits, or institutions. So, what can you revisit here that needs some serious attention? Does something need to end? Can you commit to something long-term here? Can you structure things to support, make the time, tackle responsibilities, set or deal with limits, rules or regulations, or get more ambitious about it? It's a do-over so reassess, release, rekindle, or rework it. Once this Retrograde ends on Thanksgiving we will move forward with these themes in some new way based on what we figure out in the do-over, and this is then the foundation for it once we exit on Valentines Day.
