The DAILY ASTROLOGY June 1

Mercury slipped into Cancer this morning at 7:56am Eastern. We can now look forward to the next couple months of feeling our thoughts, emoting with more memory or nostalgia, focusing on family interests, what's going on at home, where we are with our history or ancestry, any interests with real estate deals, moves, or renovations, or what's going on with parents or roommates. Mercury in this territory says it's time to talk things out in these arenas of life, meet up about it, write things up, sign agreements, make sales, take more short trips about it, get more involved locally, involve the brothers, sisters or neighbors in the matter, look at where we are with electronics or transportation about it, and/or make some decisions. So, there are two things here; 1) this is traveling through Cancer for an extended time because we will enter a Mercury Retrograde period where we will have to readdress the things from the past or any ongoing stories in these arenas. Keep this in mind as you move things along, we'll enter the Shadow of the Retrograde on the 13th (preview/slow-down), and then the Retrograde from the 29th through July 23rd (do-over). If we do sign agreements with property or for parents or with roommates, as examples, there can be something to renegotiate or change during the Retrograde about it. 2) This first week and a half of Mercury in Cancer is the most frictional as Mercury will square Neptune and Saturn, both in Aries, peaking this Wednesday (Neptune) and next Wednesday (Saturn). Examples could be we have a lot to get done in the yard or garden, at home or with family, but Neptune brings the rain, confusion, something hidden, addictive, or karmic into the story while Saturn brings timing factors, commitments, endings, authority figures, or limits into the story. We'll have to work through it over the next 10 days as we are now in orb of both planets but a very big positive with this one is that we won't have to revisit this specific matter during the Retrograde as Mercury will not return to Neptune and Saturn to square them again, yay.
