Hello June! We kick off the month with Mercury heading into Cancer on the 1st and turning our thoughts, talks and decisions towards emotional needs, home, family, or anything having to do with history, foundations, parents, roommates, moves, renovations, or real estate deals. Mercury will help us get into meetings, write things up, or focus on sales here over the weeks ahead. It can also involve siblings or neighbors, talks or interviews, or field offers or make choices about it.

This is a prolonged transit in this sign because Mercury will Retrograde at month’s end here. So, expect to start to slow down around the 13th onward as we enter the Shadow and start to get previews about what is going to return or release. We then enter the Retrograde on the 29th and this lasts until July 23rd. These weeks will ask us to reassess, rekindle, release, or rework any past or ongoing stories with these Cancer themes at home, with family, etc. There can be mix-ups, miscommunications or malfunctioning items here during the Retrograde so be careful with electricity and computers at home, with what is said within the family, or with any decisions you might have to agree to until this passes. From July 23rd through Aug 9th we will move forward again with whatever we figure out during this do-over.

With all the Mercury focus in the sign Cancer and what it rules it’s good to note that on the 21st the Sun will enter Cancer for a 30-day spin. This puts a spotlight on our emotional needs, home, real estate deals, moves, renovations, family, parents, or roommates and asks us to show up, get more involved, pursue our interests, and shine. So expect to spend more personal time or to put in more effort around the house or with the family now.

On the 13th Venus moves into Leo and will tour here until July 9th. Leo is a sign of creativity and fun, children and true love, as well as drama and entitlement so hosting Venus here means we may be more likely to smooth something out or attract more love or pleasure into these arenas or get more money flowing or beauty into these realms. Venus in Leo is far more dramatic, glamorous and regal so dress for it, embrace it, enjoy it.

By the 30th Jupiter moves into Leo, joining Venus there. It’s been 12 years since we had Venus in Leo and it will now be with us in this sign until July 26th, 2027, for over a year! Think back to July 2014-Aug 2015 or before that from Aug 2002-August 2003 as examples of Jupiter moving through Leo. Did big things happen with kids, lovers, creativity, or fun? Jupiter wants us to grow, to seek our happiness, adventure out there, and/or prosper. So, in Leo this will be focused on true love or things we do with lovers, the kids, any creative projects, or our recreational pursuits. Of course, it could take a drama over the top or bring out someone’s royal entitlement personality, lol. Think about Jupiter ruled topics that might help in expanding horizons here. It could be that travel, or a distant scenario is in the cards or that teaching or getting certified would help. It could be we could find a better way to market things, or we might get into a media or publishing venture about it. Or it could be that legal contracts, ceremonies, religion, or politics plays into what is opening up with the love life, lover, kids, creativity, or fun over the year ahead. Think big!

We have a New Moon in Gemini on the 14th. This kicks in at 10:54pm Eastern on the 24th degree of the sign. It is giving us all a cosmic boost forward with our ideas, our flirtations, any talks or meetings, our sales or agreements, any writing projects or pitches, what’s going on with siblings or neighbors, our moves, local activities or short trips to nearby places, as well as with our offers or decisions. We have 2 strong weeks to launch into something brand new or take our current scenarios forward into what comes next.

By the 28th Mars enters Gemini. This is the first time in 2 years for Mars in this sign and he will be doing his part to fire us up and spark more activity through our talks, meetings or sales, our writing, offers or decisions, with our short trips, local activities, or moves, or with siblings, neighbors, or vehicles. Mars may bring more fights and anger around these topics so careful on the road and in those meetings! The mind can be more combative and the tongue a bit sharper so again, easy on the fire! On the other hand, we can harness the passionate side of this energy to really get our ideas across or get more done out there locally or in nearby places. We have Mars in Gemini until August 11th.

The Full Moon arrives on the 29th as the Moon hits 8 degrees of Capricorn at 7:57pm Eastern. We have now reached a zenith with a personal or professional goal, or there is something culminating with a boss, parent or other authority figure in our lives. Emotions run high, it is a more serious Full Moon where we are reaching our objectives, having breakthroughs, achieving, or celebrating, or we are wrapping things up, getting some finalization or ending things altogether.
