The DAILY ASTROLOGY Nov 20th

Happy New Moon in Scorpio! It perfected at 1:47am Eastern this morning. We wake today with 2 weeks of momentum ahead of us that can give us that added boost forward in all things Scorpio. We can look at new things we want to start, current things we'd like to add to or current things we'd like to move into new chapters or directions. The topics involved are our financials such as loans, paying off debt, our credit cards, insurance policies, taxes, child support, partner's money, or any other outside resource on the list. Scorpio also and most notoriously rules sexuality, so we may spark up more attractions or take our current inner sexpot into new depths or stories. It rules reproduction and hormones so we could see progress with something here. It also rules divorce, one's mortality, births, and powerful transformations so we could make headway hear as well. If there has been something buried, dark, controlling, criminal, or underground that needs to be dealt with then this next 2 weeks could give you help with moving that along as well. And last but not least there is jealousy, possessiveness, obsessions, manipulations, power, or triangles in life that could finally be addressed now as well. So, remember, we all have Scorpio energy in our chart somewhere and it has 2 sides, the snake and the phoenix, use this time to disengage the lower vibrations and rise from the ashes so to speak in whatever one of these topics you aim at.

Do note that this New Moon is at 28 degrees of Scorpio but it is not just the Sun and Moon who came to sit on this degree together this morning (late last night for the west coast). Nope, Mercury Retrograde is also at 28 degrees of Scorpio at the same time this got underway, so all 3 planets merged their energy meaning that part of this new beginning, fresh start, next chapter, new direction of the New Moon involves something current or from the past and what we are doing to revisit, reassess, release, or rework it in this story. So, whether you need to clear the runway of past blockage to get your plane off the ground or you need to go back over something and get it right before takeoff, keep it in mind.

Also note that the planet Uranus is at 29 degrees of Taurus in opposition, while Neptune is at 29 degrees of Pisces in harmonic support. This could bring 1) something exciting, suddenly changing or crazy into the story from another that asks you to look at values, money, possessions, or purchases in the mix (Uranus), and it could 2) bring the imagination, inspiration, or magic into the equation in ways that support the forward motion via artistic, romantic, or spiritual interests, institutions, recuperative time, or research (Neptune). So that's the bulk of it concerning our New Moon potential and the planets involved.

Today also marks the midpoint/turning point of the Mercury Retrograde in the same energy field as our New Moon so it can be an important day of news, talks, or ideas that help us understand what this do-over has been about involving financial, sexual, reproductive, mortality, divorce, or third-party topics.

We're not done, lol! Although we are in our 2 week window of Scorpio New Moon momentum, the Moon then moved into Sagittarius this morning and is getting us in flow with Pluto in Aquarius today so that is also going on. It can mean we are tackling something big or over the top, that we feel more generous or expansive in our mood, that we are also focused on travel or distant situations, legal or educational needs, media or marketing ideas, or a ceremony, religious interest, or political agenda. This is in flow with friends, groups, and the internet in powerful or transformative ways.

The final influence impacting us today is the alignment between Uranus and Neptune. Like I noted above they are both at the 29th degree of signs that impact the New Moon potential but they are also doing their own thing with each other as they lock these 29th degrees in Taurus and Pisces. This is a once in a lifetime event as they sit the 'critical' degree of these signs, meaning the last degree before moving on, the degree with the most power after having spent years passing through the sign to come to the end of that energetic story. It grants lots of rewards from the meaning of the sign but can also impart one last lesson, it depends on your own chart with that, but it is highly powerful so likely to be experienced now. Uranus will hold the degree until Dec 2nd while Neptune will remain on it for the duration of his last passage here, in Retrograde on this 29th degree until Dec 10th, then Direct on the 29th degree until he leaves the sign on Jan 26th, 2026. So whatever they are doing with each other today seems to linger in earnest for a while here. Since Uranus takes 84 years to journey around the zodiac and Neptune takes 165 years, we won't be experiencing them here together again this lifetime which adds emphasis to the importance of their potential for us right now. So really look at how this opportunity alignment between them can add to your life story now by embracing the themes from each side in ways unique to your life, and see what shows up to guide you in the proper direction with it now. Uranus in Taurus=innovation, excitement, genius, original ideas/projects, social interests, the internet, astrology, charities, big tech, AI, gatherings, or causes tied to values, income, purchases, products, or possessions.
