Zoe Moon’s AUGUST MONTHLY HOROSCOPES 2025

Happy August everybody! First off, we have lots of Leo energy at our fingertips this month which means lots of potential for creativity and fun as well as more going on with love, lovers, or the kids. New Moon momentum is still strong in the first 8 days of August in this sign helping us launch forward into new or next chapter opportunities. Mercury is still Retrograde in this sign through the 10th helping us reassess, return to the past, rework the current, take a break, or allow for an exit with creative ventures, lovers, kids, or recreational pursuits in our do-over here. Mercury then goes Direct on the 11tn at 3:30am Eastern/12:30am Pacific so we can then shift gears and start moving forward with decisions we’ve made. We are in the Shadow phase moving the Retrograde themes forward until the 25th and then may hear from new people, come up with new ideas, or in other ways move forward without the do-over stuff at the forefront from the 25th-Sept 2nd. Remember Mercury encourages us to think about things, talk, meet, write things up, focus on sales, short trips, moves, flirtations, offers, or decisions about these topics whether we’re in the Retrograde do-over, the Shadow or into new territory so speak up! Finally, Venus arrives in Leo on the 25th at 12:27pm Eastern and will tour here until Sept 19th. She rules true love and income as well as beauty and pleasure, so while touring Leo we may enjoy our kids or lovers more or fall in love with someone new if single, or we may find ways to earn via our creative endeavors, create something beautiful, or earn in some recreational way, see where it takes you!

On the evening of the 7th, at 9:18pm Eastern/6:18pm Pacific the Moon moves into Aquarius and will then begin to build to Full Moon status by the 9th at 3:55am Eastern/12:55am Pacific. Therefore, we could have peak experiences with friends, groups or associates at any time during this period or we could reach a peak with an original project, personal aspiration or our freedom then. It could be something is culminating with a charity, astrology, big tech, AI, an Aquarius, science, or something online. Or it could be about big gatherings, parties, or events that are at a peak in our lives. So, aim high, things in these areas of life are at their highest energy point of the year so big wrap-ups or endings, breakthroughs or achievements, celebration or recognition could take place in one or more of these arenas now. Something interesting to note is that this is the first Full Moon since the 1940’s with the ruler of Aquarius, Uranus, in the sign Gemini. It may give the words, news, offers, or decisions involved around these topics more emphasis or it could be more impactful on community, through short trips, or local activities over these topics. Finally, the collective is ruled by Aquarius so it is possible we are marking some kind of epic moment with the lot of us around this time, prayers that it’s a positive moment!

I don’t usually talk about specific dates for the personal planetary energy in a Monthly Forecast but this month Mars is going to be really fired up on the 8th, 9th, and 10th and since this means 3 days in a row with a lot more passion, fighting spirit, warring factions, motivation, or activity, I thought I would mention it. This could start to show up as soon as the 6th because that is when Mars moves into Libra. Mars tours this sign approximately once every 2 years so it’s been since 2023 since we’ve had it here and this time it stays from 7:23pm Eastern/4:23pm Pacific on the 6th of August through September 22nd at 3:54am Eastern/12:54am Pacific. That’s a little over 6 and a half weeks with all of this proactive, aggressive, passionate, motivational energy in the sign of partners, clients, and specialists, agents, attorneys, competitors, and opponents, allies and open enemies, advocates and other such important one-on-one connections. For many of us Mars will mean the good stuff like making things happen or sharing passionate moments but it can be confrontational with lots more happening with these folks one way or the other now. So, you may wish to circle the 6th-10th on your calendar with added emphasis on the 8th-10th. Over these days Mars will meet with the outer bodies, Mars trining Uranus and then Mars opposing Saturn on the 8th, Mars opposing Neptune on the 9th, and Mars trining Pluto on the 10th. This breaks down as unexpected exciting or shocking news or decisions (Uranus) into a serious moment of authority, endings, long-term commitments, or time (Saturn), into something dissolving away, getting inspired or focused on the magic, seas or other worldly moments (Neptune), to something regarding the collective, aspirations, or freedoms and power, finances, death, birth, a transformational scenario, or third-party sources in the story (Pluto). Plan accordingly!

The other personal planetary energy to watch this month would be the Venus/Jupiter conjunction in Cancer, something that has not occurred since June 2002 (they missed each other last time Jupiter was in Cancer between 2013-2014). These are considered the 2 best planetary influences in the zodiac and they merge their energy in the sign of emotional needs, home, land, country, family, history, real estate, moves, parents, early childhood matters, roommates, and ancestry between the 11th and 12th this month. To be exact it is at 10:30pm Pacific on the 11th, 1:30am Eastern on the 12th, and therefore we may experience this on either day or both. It brings luck, growth, happiness, or prosperity together with love, enjoyment, money, or beauty and then pours it into these Cancer themes listed above. It is a beginning story, one that wraps up the story between these energies that began back between 2001 and 2002 with them, and starts anew over these 2 days. This story gets underway in 2 parts, this one and then again next June as they merge a second time before setting off on their story with all the parts intact. It will last until June 2038. You may find that travel or distant locations, import/export or foreign interests, legal contracts or educational pursuits, media or marketing, ceremonies, religion, or politics influence what is going on here. Example, perhaps you are purchasing a home and signing legal documents to find your happiness or perhaps you are starting a home business or a business in real estate and learning new things, getting certified, or signing legal documents around these themes, or perhaps there is a big family trip planned this year or next and it involves lots of love and enjoyment. You get the idea, look at the different combinations, remember you also have a launch with this new story next year, and see what comes into play or into mind over these 2 days for clues as to what it might be for you!

Uranus in Gemini will be connecting with Saturn and Neptune in Aries this month, something none of us have experienced this lifetime. The slow-moving outer planets coming together are trying to set up background stories for us regarding their energy. Since Uranus in Gemini is revolutionary ideas and inventions and out of the norm decisions we may see some really interesting ideas introduced on the world stage or new things discovered. Uranus and Saturn form their alignment on the 11th, opening up opportunities between them for exciting, innovative or social talks, ideas, meetings, writing, sales, offers, or decisions that help each of us cement something long term or get ambitious, show up and put in the time, mark any endings, or master some new level of personal authority in the story. There could also be something exciting or shocking going on with a leader, corporation or the establishment around this time. Uranus and Neptune form their alignment on the 28th adding the imagination, the seas, our past life influences, our psychic abilities, artistry, spirituality, or romantic side of the story into the mix, or bringing institutions or research to bear on what is possible. At the core of these two combinations is this new story that is getting underway for each of us as individuals, the effort we are willing to put in towards reinventing ourselves or going deeper, evolving and being fearless on the start of a new quest so trust the process, these are great alignments and in Divine Timing.

By the last week of the month we start to move towards more Virgo energy. This means more attention to detail, more being of service to others or a higher calling. More focus on our work, co-workers or hired help. More going on with our health or animals. Or more cleaning, organizing, going holistic, simplifying, or tending to the paperwork. The Sun enters this field on the 22nd for a 30-day tour. It’s time to show up, get more personally or physically involved in these matters, and shine. This is quickly followed by a New Moon in Virgo between the 22nd/23rd depending on your time zone. For the west coast it’s at 11:07pm Pacific on the 22nd, for the east coast it’s at 2:07am Eastern on the 23rd. This kicks in a major boost from the cosmos over the next 2 weeks that can help us to find new work, start a new job, kick off a new work project, get a new co-worker, hire someone new to help in some area of life, launch into a new health regime, get into the health industry, adopt a pet, start a new animal rescue or join an animal group, sign new paperwork, or in any other way begin fresh in these areas or it can help to take current interests in these areas of life forward into new chapters, new directions, or next levels.
