Happy Fourth of July! Happy Independence Day! May it be all sparklers and happy celebrations! But of course, do watch out for the crazies! Today at 5:33am Eastern we finally exit the long Void Moon that began on Wednesday afternoon. This is marked by the Moons move into Scorpio and a shift in our attention towards more powerful interests. We might want to focus on a financial need or our intimate life, we might want to purge or dig into something underground, we might find we are motivated by third-party situations, or we might be doing things to empower ourselves or make changes. This is a bit of a push or test this morning but soon gets into flow and opens up around home or family, real estate deals or moves, parents or roommates, or our sense of history the rest of the day in really big ways.
At 11:31am Eastern Venus changes signs, exiting Taurus and entering Gemini. She will now tour through Gemini until 11:57pm Eastern on the 30th. This gives us 3 1/2 weeks to get into talks or meetings about love, money, beauty, or pleasure. It can help us debate two options, it can bring more diplomacy, for some it may be more dualistic. It can make us more flirtatious, inquisitive, or out and about locally or on short trips about these interests, or it can bring more writing, agreements, offers, sales, moves, short trips, neighbors, or siblings into the story. The pace will likely pick up quite a bit from where we were with earning money, our love life, beauty, or pleasure so get ready for it!
Neptune is stopped in the astrological sky and will go Retrograde today at 5:34pm Eastern. This can lend a bit of a surreal, strange, otherworldly quality to the day or it could feel a bit confusing or bring hidden things to the surface. This is going to kick off several months of do-over with this energy regarding our karmic past life influences, our secret or deceptive life, our bad habits or addictions, how we set boundaries, the things we are dissolving away or that are dissolving away around us with a specific aim at impacting our identity or sense of who we are and the aim at a new imagining of this identity, as well as our artistic abilities, spiritual interests, romantic life, or dealings with institutions. We get to take a deep breath, look back over what has occurred in these matters over the past few months and decide what we'd like to fine-tune, let go of or return to and rework. Neptune Retrogrades in this personal/physical sign of Aries from today through October 22nd before carrying out the rest of his Retrograde in Pisces. So, let's tune into ourselves and what it is we need to readdress or release.
