At 11:17am Eastern the Sun and Jupiter merge on the 3rd degree of Cancer, coming together in this sign for the first time since July 2002. A merger like this is called a conjunction and signifies the beginning of something new. It brings the vital life force energy of the Sun, ruler of who we are, our courage and heart, the body and ego, and our involvement in this new story, together with Jupiter, ruler of our growth, our happiness and prosperity, any luck we might have along the way, and our travels, relocations, distant interests, higher education, legal needs, media ventures, marketing ideas, ceremonies, religion, and politics together. This conjunction occurs on the 3rd degree which is the degree of creativity. It occurs in the sign Cancer which is the place of our home, roots, history, and family, as well as being in charge of our moves, renovations, real estate deals, parents, or roommates in the story. So, look at what is coming together here, today, and do note that tomorrow morning a New Moon kicks in, also in Cancer, to give us a powerful boost forward with it all.
