SATURDAY OCTOPBER 7th
At 4:33pm Eastern today we officially pass the Venus Retrograde Shadow and are done with our do-over, moving forward with our decisions about the past when it comes to love or income, beauty or pleasure, a lover or our children, dramas or entitlement issues, or creative ventures or recreational pursuits through the process of letting go, rekindling or reworking things. After this time today we are moving into what comes next with these topics having figured out what we needed on this long journey with Venus in Leo and our do-over in these areas since June 20th when she first entered her Shadow here.
Mars in relationship Libra is in a challenging or frictional alignment today and tomorrow as he is in a dynamic T-square with the Moon in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn. This is in effect all day today and tomorrow until it peaks by 9:05pm Eastern on Sunday and can be utilized this weekend in a few different ways. One is that it can lend a lot of physical energy to making things happen with or through partners, clients, specialists, representatives, or other important relationships regarding the home, family, goals, parents, bosses, other authority figures, moves, real estate deals, renovations, roommates, and what is wanted here. Two is it can spark libido and fire up the passion and sexuality with a significant other keeping you busy at home as the flames burn. Three it can be a more dangerous time for fire, violence or accidents in the home and dealing with authority types about it. Four if there is strife at home or with family or a key relationship heading into this weekend it can amplify the fights and anger and motivate action about it in profound or destructive ways. Five it can give you a lot more energy to purge things at home or on a property with the help of someone or about someone so you can finally clean out the basement or garage or get rid of whatever you are trying to purge. Hopefully you are in category 1, 2, or 5 but if you find you may be a contender for 3 or 4 please be diligent in checking for the safety of your property (look at over laden outlets, small appliances that could be ready to fizzle, candles left unattended, that your smoke detectors are working, you get the idea) and do not poke at anyone that you think could get aggressive with you or towards some kind of blow-up/break-up since Pluto in the mix could be deadly or all about destruction of something. My guess is it is more emotional today and active tomorrow but then again Mars loves to arrive early so you may find it is all a big story playing out both days, or even that you started this early on Thursday in the build-up with Mars as he made his adjustment to Neptune on Thursday.
Finally, Leo Moon kicks in at 7:24pm Eastern and will spend tonight in adjustment mode with Saturn in Pisces and opportune mode with Mercury in Libra. So, there is somewhat of a break in the action during this period when A) some of the emotional hot-headedness or amplified activity can calm down for a bit while we regroup and look at any give and take regarding commitments, time, endings, responsibilities, limits, the boss, parent or other authority figure in the story, goals, the structures that support or don't support, or ambitions in play, and how karmic bonds, secrets, addictions, recuperative needs, romantic ideals, self-sabotaging tendencies, spirituality, artistry, research, or institutions are playing a part in the story. This in turn leads to B) the potential to talk through something with the partner, client, specialist, agent, attorney, opponent, advocate, or other key relationship regarding the love, lover, kids, creative interests, or recreational pursuits in the mix or if talking is off of the table it allows you to form a decision about it. If you don't get to 'B' tonight it will be open in the early morning tomorrow before things rev back up with Mars and Pluto again.
That is a lot going on!!!
