The DAILY ASTROLOGY Aug 16th

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 16th

Happy New Moon in Leo! Our New Moon kicked in at 5:38am Eastern and instantly entered a Void Moon period that will last until 7:14pm Eastern, yowza! So, this New Moon energy over the next couple of weeks launches without directed planetary influence, it is Void, left to its own devices, free of constraints, and somewhat unpredictable except to say that it is about bringing in new directions, next chapters, fresh starts, and brand-new opportunities regarding true love and lovers, children, creative talents and ventures, or recreational pursuits. We do want to be proactive with these topics now through Aug 30th, but we will be doing so knowing that there is some part of this that is out of our hands since this New Moons momentum occurs in a Void, and add to that we have Venus Retrograding in this same territory so we are either slowed down or revisiting the past or current situations in these realms to rekindle, release or rework things, it's just really unique! As the day moves along this New Moon energy will make adjustments to both Neptune and Pluto and if we follow the Sun out with this, we find that the Sun will make the same adjustments on Sunday and Monday, the 20th and 21st. So, I would say that being flexible with our pursuit of love or with lovers, the kids, our creative ventures, or recreational pursuits is definitely something that will be on tap, especially today and next Sunday/Monday but perhaps tying these periods together, asking for give and take with these matters today through next Monday. The flexibility with Neptune can be around a need to rest and recuperate, our fantasy or imagination in the story, karmic situations, secrets, research, what's going on with institutions, addictions, drugs or alcohol, art, film, music, or other muse-related topics, romantic ideals, water, psychic abilities or signs from the other side, or spirituality in the story. So perhaps you want to do something romantic, but your partner is too tired so you have to wait a bit, or you want to start that new recreational interest but need to be flexible with the institution you are dealing with to book it, or have new opportunities with your kids but hear a secret about them that you need to incorporate in this new potential, or you get to attend something your child is doing artistically but have to figure out how to get there, you get the idea-when it comes to lovers, kids, creativity, or fun, look at this Neptune list and be flexible, it's forward you go but without being rigidly fixed to the way it comes together. The flexibility with Pluto is around power, control, sex, finances, death, birth, divorce, jealousy, or third-party interests and where we are with our personal or professional goals or a higher-up individual in the story. Examples could be you are starting a new love affair and have to be flexible about when to get intimate or you aren't sure you are ready to be sexually active again but then meet someone you know you are going to fall for and are figuring out where you are in the process, or you and a current love want a fresh start together and need to find ways to bring that sexual spark back to the relationship, or you launch some new creative venture but find you need to adapt some new form of excepting payment with adjustments around financial interests, or the child asks you for financial support and you need to be adaptive around this request, or jealousy is hurting the love in the relationship and needs to be addressed, you get the idea-again when it comes to love, kids, creativity, or fun look at the Pluto list and where you can be flexible. So that's it in a nutshell with our New Moon. On another note, we have Mars forming a harmonic with Uranus this morning, gearing us up to get busy about work or health interests, the animals, our paperwork, cleaning, or what we're doing with co-workers or hired help. This in turn puts us into flow to make money, or deal with possessions, purchases, or products, in innovative ways. This may involve friends, associates, groups, or the internet, or be about our original ideas or aspirations, doors open.
