Zoe Moon Astrology OCTOBER MONTHLY Horoscopes

We move into the month with more energy pouring into Scorpio so we should expect to dig down deep into something of import in our lives. It is an energy of depth, change and purging. It can help us uncover truths, look at our personal power, deal with obsessions or control issues, or make it about financial interests, sexual attractions, reproductive needs, divorce, birth, mortality, or third-party situations.

Mercury enters this Scorpio zone on the 6th and will tour here until the 29th. This period can bring news that impacts these topics or help us get into more talks, meetings, sales, writing, interviews, offers, or decisions about them. The pace typically quickens around them however, by the 21st Mercury will enter the Shadow of his Retrograde, a Retrograde that will run from Nov 9-29, and we may start to see some slow-downs, mix-ups or miscommunications associated with financial, sexual, reproductive, mortality, or third party matters, or begin to move towards our do-over with these themes. Short trips, moves, local activities, siblings, neighbors, vehicles, or electronics may also play into our Scorpio topics starting on the 6th onward.

By the 22nd the Sun moves into Scorpio to put a spotlight here for the next 30 days. This period is our cue to start showing up and getting more involved with the loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, insurance, investments, alimony, child support, partners money, or other financial resources. It could also be when we are physically sparking up that sexual attraction or when we find ourselves in the midst of something reproductive, with a divorce, mortality issue, or third-party story. It is now that we can focus on our own needs here a bit more or we can find we are standing out in these matters, or it can be when we show up and pursue our interests so plan on getting busy.

Next we have a Full Moon at 14 degrees of Aries on the 6th. This culminates by 11:48pm Eastern on this day and is about what is coming to a head in our lives on a personal or physical level. We may be finally seeing some results for our efforts with our body or we could be marking the end of something that has been going on physically or involves our name on the dotted line. It could be we are reaching some achievement with our image, brand, name, or title, or ditto, we could be wrapping something up here and marking an ending. Our passions, anger, and motivation are also reaching some zenith now so expect to feel it as we wrap it up, get our breakthrough, celebrate, or say ‘the end’.

On the 13th Venus exits Virgo, the sign of her Fall, and a placement she’s been in the past few weeks that has weakened her a bit, to enter into Libra, a sign she rules, where she is going to be unleashed over the next few weeks to get things done. Venus is about true love and/or income interests and in Libra will want to see these flower via partners, clients, specialists, representatives, advocates, or the like. It is all about the connections at this point so see where they may take you. Venus also rules beauty, pleasure and women, so we may see more going on with these themes tied to these relationships. Libra is also the sign of balance, justice, equality, and higher esthetics so it can be a time of smoothing out issues, seeking refinement, and attracting the good things here as well.

By the 21st we have a New Moon in Libra which marks the beginning of a 2-week period that can helps us start new relationships, start new interests with current relationships, take current relationships into new directions or chapters, or in any other way get fresh starts with these key players. So, again, it is about connections, moving ahead with partners, clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, dealing with competitors, advocates, or other such one-on-ones. The added cosmic boost is strongest at the beginning of the 2 weeks and wanes the further out we go so make the most of it by getting into it sooner than later. 

Pluto Retrograded back on May 4th of this year so we’ve been slowed down and in reassessment mode with his themes since then. This ends on the 13th as Pluto goes Direct again at 10:54pm Eastern and will remain in this forward motion now until May 6, 2026. Pluto’s job in Aquarius is to tear down the old paradigm and rebirth it in a more empowered way. It goes deep, makes changes, and evolves. Aquarius rules the collective, revolutions, rebellion, and freedom. It also rules friendships, group activities, clubs and organizations, charities and foundations, astrology, science, big tech, and AI, as well as gatherings, events, and parties, and our original projects and aspirations. So, Pluto shifting us back into Direct motion through these realms means it’s time to move forward, time to make changes, time to look at where we are on a soul level in these arenas. It’s also time to look at any financial needs in these arenas, our sexual interests, intimacy, jealousy, or possessiveness. As well as what is going on with reproduction, death, birth, divorce, or third-party influences here. We may see moves now made regarding digital currencies, wall street, or the banks as it pertains to the collective or on a more personal side of things we may spark an attraction with a friend, join a financial group or empower through third party situations. Also note that the day an energy changes direction can be a bit more unstable so we could see something rocking a bit around any of these topics on this Monday the 13th.

On the 22nd Neptune Retrogrades back into Pisces for the last time in our lifetimes. Neptune started this journey through his own sign of Pisces back in April, 2011. It has definitely been interesting to experience this ultra powerful time with the ruler of magic, dreams, illusions, delusions, imagination, inspiration, and psychic abilities empowered in his own sign. It has emphasized the artistic, romantic and spiritual, the secretive, addictive and deceptive, the investigative and researching side of things, as well as our Karmic past and Karmic cycles, what needed to dissolve away, what need to be reimagined, and our involvement with institutions. So, starting today through December 10th we are in do-over mode in Neptune's Retrograde through Pisces, time to release, rekindle or rework something here. Once we finish our 7 weeks of Retrograde Neptune will shift again back into Direct motion in Pisces and we will move forward with what we figured out, in forward motion from December 10th - January 26th, 2026. Neptune will not return to Pisces after that until the year 2175 so we really want to make the most of this potential today through Jan 26th.

By the 29th Mercury will move into Sagittarius, still in the Shadow of his upcoming Retrograde that starts on Nov 9th. So, his motion is extended but not normal as it will move forward now in Sagittarius until Nov 9th when it Retrogrades and starts to head back over past degrees and old topics then through Nov 18th. Mercury will then take his Retrograde into Scorpio Nov 18-29 before going Direct in Scorpio Nov 29th. Mercury returns to Sagittarius in Direct motion Dec 11th and exits Jan 1st. So, break it down as far as the Sagittarius part of it; as forward but in the Shadow phase in Sag Oct 29-Nov 9, Retrograde in Sag Nov 9-18, and then returns in Direct motion again Dec 11-Jan 1. Mercury in Sagittarius is about catching the biggest fish and describing it, pitching the biggest idea, exaggerating in other words, or it’s about over the top thinking, expansive talks, meetings, or sales, the writing is more generous, the agreements more enthusiastic, and we may be talking, selling, writing, meeting, or making decisions now involving travel, foreign or distant matters, legal or educational pursuits, media or marketing ideas, or ceremonies, religion, or politics. With this in mind, although it is an optimistic, happier, more prosperous-leaning period, we can see that things will slow down, could get mixed up, be more likely to malfunction, or involve something about the past or our upcoming do-over. Therefor I would suggest you pace yourself, double check facts and figures, keep receipts, purchase warranties, and hold off if you question anything about it.

One last heads up, the second half of the month will see the Sun move to oppose Chiron while Jupiter will square it, forming a T-square in cardinal signs which can initiate vulnerabilities with health. It may be a good thing to see doctors early or to start a health regime from the start of the month to bolster oneself against it and/or do what you can to strengthen the immune system so you aren’t a casualty of the influence. On a more upbeat note about it, it may facilitate healing via specialists or seeking balance and a more generous and protective spirit in play if we are proactive.
