September is the month of revelations. The final act commences, the fog lifts and we see what has really been going on since this time last year. It is truly the biggest, baddest month of the year, ready?
The month opens on a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo on the 1st. Now, not only are Solar Eclipses all about magnifying the potential of a New Moon push into new territory by 3 times the intensity, but, this one is happening in Virgo while Jupiter is spending his last 8 days of a year-long cycle here, expanding the horizons of this event and setting us on a trajectory towards growth we may begin or take to the next level now in our work life, with our health, through the paperwork, organizing, cleaning, or people we work with or hire, and with our animals and environmental interests. It may eclipse something out to make way for this bold new horizon. The Sun is squaring Saturn on this day bringing a test to the matter, showing you what may be ending, need restructuring, more commitments, responsibilities, the limits or no’s in the situation, those older, established authority types involved, and where you need to get serious with legal, travel, educational, media, marketing, wedding, religious, or political themes. The Sun also opposes Neptune on this day making it important to deal with another person over the addictions, healing, hospitals, research, romance, artistry, or spirituality in the mix. So it’s big and off we go.
Next, Jupiter ends his year-plus cycle through Virgo on the 9th and moves into Libra. He will now tour Libra for the next year. Since Jupiter takes 12 years to embark on a sign you can think back to the last times he was here in your life to look at how you may have benefited from his growth through key relationships. His last transit here was Sept. 2004- Sept. 2005. You may have seen something open up via a business partner, romantic partner, clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, competitors, opponents, open enemies, or others, but whether they opened things up for you or got out of your way, Jupiter would have been big when this showed up and will be again now that he is back here via these people. The Sun will square Saturn and oppose Neptune on the day of the Eclipse so it threads it’s topics into the forward momentum as it triggers the ongoing Saturn/Neptune square that will peak by the 10th. So, the Sun wants you to show up and get personally or physically involved with or about this key relationship. Saturn wants you to get real about endings, commitments, responsibilities, limits, no’s, structures that support, or ambitions in the mix and to look at where you are with personal goals, career needs or authority figures in the mix. Neptune wants you to look at boundary issues or karmic/past life scenarios that you are perpetuating or that in some way are about your, your body, image, brand, name, title, or needs. This may focus on healing, hospitals, romance, artistry, spirituality, addictions, or research you can do. So get serious as you move into that next chapter.
Jupiter then moves into Libra on the 9th kicking off a new year-long cycle for the first time in 12 years in this sign. For you it will be about luck or growth opportunities via loans, debt, inheritance, bankruptcy, taxes, insurances, investments, settlements, commissions, alimony, child support, a partner’s money, or other outside resources, or it will be about something opening up your world via sex, reproduction, divorce, mortality, birth, or third party scenarios. In Libra it will mean connecting with those partners, clients, specialists, agents, attorneys, competitors, or other players, or the things they do for you in these areas. The last time you had this potential was the Fall of 2004-2005. The Sun also enters Libra, this kicks off on the 22nd and lasts 30 days. It will be your call to start showing up and getting more personally or physically involved in these financial, sexual, reproductive, mortality, divorce, or third party matters. It’s time to take the lead, make it about what you can do and what you need, you will stand out. Mark the 26th on your calendar as special when the Sun and Jupiter will come together to show you what is possible for you in at least one of these arenas, plan accordingly. Finally, there is a 2nd New Moon this month on the 30th, also in Libra, so from this date forward over the 2 weeks that follow into Oct. you have your best window of the year to launch into that next chapter or start something new in one of these arenas.
The final Saturn/Neptune square peaks on the 10th after a year-long war in Heaven that has played out on the world stage between Faith and Fear. In your own life you’ve had to deal with this heavy energy and now any last obstacles to overcome or ways you need to give it one last push through will become apparent. Again, Saturn is about commitments, responsibilities, endings, limits, no’s, structures, authority types in the mix, and ambitions and is about your career, goals, reputation, fame, or those bosses, parents, judges, mentors, or other higher-ups. Neptune is about boundaries, deception, addition, inspiration, artistic direction, romantic needs, karmic/past life unions, spirituality, healing, hospitals, and research and is focusing its energy on you, who you are, what’s going on with your body, image, brand, name, title, or needs. So look at how far you’ve come since this time last year and figure out what needs to crest in some way now.
Within a week, on the 16th, is the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse and it is in your sign so again this is a major high-point for you with a focus on your body, image, brand, name, title, or needs, the artistic, spiritual, romantic, karmic, addictive, healing, hospital, or research themes, and anything that is eclipsing out, ending, wrapping up, coming through, achieved, or celebrated now. You may have this tie into a week-long period of highs from the 10th-16th or have 2 peak periods.
As noted above, Mercury Retrograde ends on the 22nd so at this point you can turn attention away from the past and start to look to the future again. This has been about rethinking things with partners, clients, specialists, agents, opponents, competitors, attorneys, or other relationships and now you are ready to shift with the energy into the best next level with or without them. Do note that today as the energy changes direction there can be more mix-ups, malfunctions or changes of mind so go easy and double check everything. After today you have the green light to sign new agreements, meet new people, or purchase new electronics or mechanical items again.
Venus moves into Scorpio on the 23rd kicking off a new love, women, income, and beauty cycle that is much deeper and profound. For you it will mean things can go well here through travel, with people at a distance, educational pursuits, weddings, media, marketing, legalities, religious interests, or politics, so smooth things out here or go for what you want. You have until Oct. 18th to enjoy this powerful influence.
Finally, Pluto has been Retrograde since April and now on the 26th goes Direct again in your social zone. This means that over the months ahead you are back in forward motion with sexual, financial, divorce, or third party scenarios with your friends, groups, the internet, astrology, charities, gatherings, or tied to your aspirations or original projects. So you may now be able to get that loan online or attract more financial payments online or meet someone sexy while out with friends or at a gathering or an online site, or get into a good divorce group, you get the idea. The next day Mars moves into this same arena for the first time in 2 years and he will bring his fire to get things moving in your sexual, divorce, financial, reproductive, mortality, or third party arenas. You’ll have this amped up energy until Nov. 9th and it will stir passions, bring your fighting spirit, help you deal with anger, or motivate more things happening, you will be busy, plan on it.
