Our last day of 2024 is here! I don't know about you guys, but boy did I have vivid dreams last night, not sure what that was about since we were not in Pisces Moon. You'll have to let me know if you did as well, I'm wondering if since Saturn is in Pisces and rules Capricorn Moon we might not be getting more here when alignments support as they did last night? Interesting. Anyway, today the Capricorn Moon is in flow with Saturn and Uranus so it's all about getting into gear about our goals. It can involve friends, groups, or gatherings, play out online, be surprising or exciting, or in the moment. It can get us into flow with earnings, purchases or possessions, institutions, research, or recuperative needs, career interests, authority figures, or our artistic pursuits, romantic interests, or spiritual practices. Today is about our Capricorn New Moon! Capricorn asks us to lead ourselves forward with goals and authority, to put in time, execute a plan, build or lean on our reputation, further any career interests, reach out to those higher up like a boss, parent, director, teacher, etc., to tackle responsibilities, set limits, be willing to say no when necessary, make long term commitments, structure things that will support us, and perhaps give a nod to status. So, we are in this today on some level, the consummate professional, the leader, our ambitions amping up. The first part of the day, before we get the New Moon boost, this may link to some give and take around any past or current scenarios with the kids, lover, creative venture, or recreational pursuit. The New Moon then kicks in at 5:27pm Eastern/2:27pm Pacific and gives us 2 solid weeks of cosmic boost behind these goals, career interests, authority figures, ambitions, and the rest, so we can now gather more steam, get more momentum behind starting anything new or taking current scenarios into what comes next moving forward. TUESDAY we continue with Capricorn Moon energy and a focus on our goals, career, status, or higher-ups. This is in flow with friends, groups, gatherings, the internet, astrology, charities, values, money, purchases, possessions, and products, which should mean good times for most this New Year’s Eve!

WEDNESDAY we kick off our New Year 2025 with Aquarius Moon energy. Venus moves into Pisces at 10:24pm Eastern and will tour this sign until Feb 4th. Venus is about the love/lover or income flow in our lives, and she is responsible for beauty and pleasure as well. In Pisces she will have fewer boundaries, be more magical and dreamy, get inspired, find outlets for these themes behind closed doors, in private, in secret, clandestinely, romantically, spiritually, through institutions, tied to addictions, tied to karmic past life matters, or through researching things. FRIDAY we have more passion, anger or motivating forces amped up (if not the night before in the build-up) regarding our revisiting and reassessing what we want with past lovers, kids, creativity, fun, or dramas. SATURDAY Pisces Moon amps up the mystical and magical, the inspired and divine, the romantic and artistic, and puts us into flow with opportunities here and through digging into information, looking at past life connections, synchronicities, dreams, and time to meditate or pray. This is one of those days when you really should set or try to achieve goals, aim high, pursue your own personal needs in the mix, be there for others if need be, and make the most of the current that is flowing.

SUNDAY morning gives us more potential in these arenas, although some bit of news or conversation may push buttons at some point, overall it is inspired up until around 2pm Eastern. Chiron goes Direct today at 4:13pm Eastern/1:13pm Pacific, ending months of Retrograde, (since July 26th), and shifting us back into forward gear. From today through July 30th, 2025, Chiron will move ahead, from 19 to 27 degrees of Aries, moving us into the 3rd decan, the Sagittarius decan, of Aries. So, we head into what comes next with addressing our wounds, vulnerabilities, and healing on a personal or physical level, as well as with addressing our own guru teacher/healer potential in helping others regarding said wounds, vulnerabilities, or healing. On the one hand, we are exiting the second decan, the Leo decan, regarding wounds, vulnerabilities, and healing around love, lovers, the kids, creativity, dramas, and our sense of fun by Valentines Day so that should be a blessing. On the other hand, in the Sagittarius decan from February 15th onward, we are now going to immerse ourselves in things that may involve our personal growth, happiness or prosperity, the law, our education, travel, distant situations, media, marketing, ceremonies, religion, or politics. Examples could be, if you have planets in this decan of any of the Cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, perhaps you'll be called to get more involved in politics and in so doing will have to address your own insecurities regarding things about yourself that are dredged up by opponents but be able to step into your guru energy and address some of the issues of those in weaker positions in the public through this role, or perhaps you will put your brand out there and what you are doing as you lead yourself forward but must face how wounded it feels to not have the right education for a particular role but then are allowed the chance to heal that by taking up some new course that then enhances your title in some way, or on a smaller scale perhaps you decide you want to teach the kids or grandkids something but realize you have forgotten certain things so you then must brush up on your knowledge before sharing the information with them. Another example could be there is a big trip planned this year for a ceremony but you don't feel at your best and must focus on getting yourself in better shape before the focus is on you at this wedding or graduation ceremony, or your identity is being impacted in some way that is making you feel more vulnerable but is also healing on some level as getting married changes your name or someone else's marriage changes your identity in some way or the graduation changes your title, or perhaps the ceremony is a funeral and it brings up sadness for you to process on a personal level but you will find the strength to be there and comfort others. Another example could be that you want to have some procedure done on your body and have to travel to get this done and have to navigate the distance and healing process, or during travel you lose your ID and must have a new one made, or there is some legal process you are going to go through to change your name, title or brand and this of course puts you through a lot of red tape but then you get to step into this new version of yourself, you get the idea, it is a time to take on more in our personal growth for bigger purposes up ahead. Our other influences today involve Venus and Neptune. Venus is in a happy place today which should be positive for love or money, beauty or pleasure, friends, groups, or online pursuits. Neptune is in square, peaking around dinner time, so we may feel ready to withdraw early tonight to rest and recharge or get lost in our own inner world. If you didn't mean it, then repair those words this morning. Mercury/Saturn squares usually shut down communications but we're coming out of it as we wake so let's fix it and move on. If it didn't hit you last night but rather arrives this morning, ditto. At the core of it our belief systems, what's ingrained, forms our reactions and they are a bit over the top right now or got shut down for the wrong reasons, nip it in the bud. After this we have quite the dreamy Void period up until around 2:46pm Eastern which can be used to make art, enjoy music or film, get romantic, or find our spiritual pathways opening and it's all about getting lost in the magic. If this doesn't float your boat then use the time to rest and recharge, research or write, or dig through sales or ideas that inspire. Once we move into Sage Moon out of the Void we move into a very active part of the day/evening which is good for celebrating, expanding our ideas, or may go big around travel, educational, legal, or media interests. It is about what can be done in our do-over with lovers, kids, creative ventures, or recreational pursuits and how powerful our connections are with friends, the collective, at gatherings, or online. I hope you all had a blessed Christmas and still have energy left over for today, lol. Today is really about how interesting Mercury is going to be regarding news, talks, ideas, or decisions. It is in a square to Saturn while Saturn is being supported by the Moon, and it is in an opposition to Jupiter. So, clearly, we have something to hear or say, write, sell, get out there locally about, or decide today. Saturn brings up some kind of blockage, obstacle, time limit, responsibility, ending, commitment, goal, or effort in the story. It may involve an older person, something established, an institution, research, something artistic, romantic, addictive, secretive, or spiritual in the mix. With the support of the Moon in Scorpio we should be able to dig into something to work through or around this, go deeper, make changes, purge something, or evolve the story. It may mean we can touch on the intimacy, financial needs, divorce, death, birth, or third-party influences to help work through it. The opposition to Jupiter is the side of what is going on that is expansive, generous, optimistic, involves another person, and our happiness, prosperity or growth. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 24th

  TODAY is the Jupiter/Saturn square, the second and final square between these two from these signs, and about where we are in any turning points in the stories they represent in our lives. So, it's good to note in our busy Christmas Eve Day celebrations and activities that we have come a long way in a story of growth and personal happiness as it pertains to the things we need to do to structure such things or any endings we are currently marking that are tied to them. Jupiter involves our belief systems, Saturn what grounds and supports them. This is about what truly endures and what we have learned, how we share our wisdom and how we've matured. It may appear today as something lost in the celebrations, something that time has enveloped and a sense of picking up any pieces and regathering our hopes for the future in some newly informed way. In the mundane world it may present as some challenge with travel, institutions, legal, media, or research themes that pop up at some point or a test to the artistic, romantic, addictive, or spiritual we foggily move through. Overall, it is about turning a corner when it comes to a background story in our lives that has now obviously evolved in some new way, so we may feel as if we are at the beginning of this story even though we can trace its beginnings back a way. Then, at 2:08pm Eastern/11:08am Pacific, the Moon moves into Libra and we shift our focus to higher esthetics, balance, and connection with others. It asks for some give and take around any recuperative needs, do I hear a nap coming on, around the middle of the day or early evening, and it puts us into something optimistic, generous, happy, or expansive the rest of the night.

TUESDAY we start the day with lovely Venus energy tied to these relationships. This can enhance love or money flow or bring more beauty or pleasure with partners, clients, specialists, reps, or others. We have adjustments today with these folks regarding some last-minute changes or surprises around income, purchases, possessions, or gifts, and the magic in our lives so be flexible here. The big news on our Christmas Eve Day is that we are at the Jupiter Saturn square today. So, we have traditions, that which is older or established, on the one hand, and a need to expand, lift up, and grow on the other hand. This is also potentially bringing us into a story today regarding that which is at a distance or involves travel, is about learning or sharing wisdom, involves ceremonies, our beliefs, or media, and then what is more serious, has come to an end, involves time, effort, institutions, rest, ties in with a karmic cycle that is closing, or involves artistic, romantic, or spiritual matters. Things are changing or have changed. Give a nod to those moments, it's going to be ok, the whole world is changing alongside us.

WEDNESDAY is Christmas and the beginning of Hanukkah so I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! This morning we have some deep, profound moments in store as the Scorpio Moon is square to Pluto in Aquarius and Retrograde Mars in Leo. I would expect powerful emotions might be on tap, we might dig deeper into what is under the surface, we might be remembering those who have crossed over, we might be revisiting or releasing past love. The rest of the day then lifts in spirit and we find our flow as our goals unfold and we step into our place at the table.

THURSDAY morning may be more goal-oriented and helpful in finding support and the time to get things done, we are in flow. The rest of the day can keep this going or focus more on the big news, talk, meeting, sale, writing project, offer, or decisions that are opening up between us and another. This should be big, generous, optimistic, happy-making, prosperous, or about travel, distant situations, legal matters, educational pursuits, media ventures, ceremonies, religion, or politics, doors open. However, Saturn is square to this so there is some wet blanket around it somewhere that we'll need to deal with. This can be about something ending, an issue with lead, an authority figure, time, energy, a responsibility that requires attention, an institution, an addiction, a secret, or the artistic, romantic, or spiritual in the mix.

FRIDAY morning looks dreamy, imaginative, or perhaps inspired. Soak up the atmosphere and don't have a plan just yet, enjoy. Sagittarius Moon moves into place at 2:46pm Eastern and will then meet with Pluto and Retrograde Mars in positive flow so we shift our focus around this time onward. It is now about focusing on our happiness, growth, adventurous spirit, or generosity. This can take us deeper into social arenas for some powerful moments or ditto online. It can also help us to reconnect with the past or rework the current with lovers, creative endeavors, recreational pursuits, or moments with the kids. Venus squares Uranus at the very end of the day so there is likely some sudden change or surprise or shake up involving a woman, lover, the income, or a beautiful object, a friend, the internet, gift, purchase, or gathering. It should come and go quickly but there it is.

SATURDAY the Sagittarius Moon is all over the place. There is flow regarding beliefs, travel, legal, educational, media, or ceremonial interests and anything big going on with another in the picture but there is an obstacle to overcome regarding time, something artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, addictive, tired, or secretive. And finally, there is potential for fresh starts involving talks, offers, or decisions in the mix.

SUNDAY Chiron goes Direct, exiting months of Retrograde and ending the focus on old wounds and vulnerabilities from the past to turn and start moving towards what comes next in addressing wounds and vulnerabilities, healing, and/or spiritual guru potential to teach or heal others through said experiences. So, the day an energy shifts direction can bring some of this to the surface to address, be gentle with each other as it may feel personal or be physical. Venus is in positive flow today which lends to opportunities around true love, income, beauty, or pleasure, any social opportunities, online pursuits, or aspirations in the mix. And since we have a square to Neptune around dinner time, we may feel like retiring early and catching up on our sleep. Tonight is not a good night to drink or imbibe in substances.

At 4:21am Eastern this morning the Sun moved into Capricorn. This is what marks the Winter Solstice and kicks off 30 days of spotlight on this energy field. The Sun in Capricorn makes us more goal-oriented, serious, and ambitious. The challenge with the Sun in Capricorn is that sometimes it can make us more severe, cold, or isolating, but the positive far outweighs these moments as we show up in consistent ways, do the work, adult, look at the long game, get real, get practical, and make some things happen in our lives. Today this can help us get serious with others about commitments, time and effort. We may enlist them regarding research, institutions, artistic pursuits, romance, or spiritual matters.
