Mercury is bringing ideas, news, talks, meetings, writing, sales, short trips, or decisions into it regarding goals, career or authority figures. Venus, well you know Venus is all about the love or money, or the beauty or pleasure. She is as well focused on goals, career or authority figures. So, this is what is driving us on a personal or physical level, and it is harmonic. As far as the background story in the mix, Saturn is about the time we put into things or the effort, our commitments, responsibilities or endings, any long-term goals, or higher-ups, and what is playing out in artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, or research arenas. Uranus is about innovating, trying new things or involving the internet, groups, friends, or aspirations, while Jupiter is about expanding, seeking adventure, happiness, or prosperity, and anything going on with legal, travel, media, publishing, educational, political, religious, or ceremonial outlets. Both of these energies are playing out around values, being valued, income opportunities, purchases, possessions, or products today. Uranus is now Direct and will be in forward motion today through Sept 1st this year. Time to shake things up again, time to lean into our inventive, quirky, genius side of being, time to make changes or respond to sudden changes finding their way into our lives, time to hug an Aquarius or Taurus, lol, they are after all ruled by and hosting this energy shift respectively, time to move ahead with social, online, astrological, or charitable influences as they pertain to our income, purchases, products, or possessions. Time to try new things, innovate, free ourselves, reinvent ourselves, find value, align values, or become valued in ways we've not been before. Now in forward motion again, this ruler of Aquarius will have quite a lot to express in the month of February as Mercury, Mars and Venus enter this sign and the Sun and Moon meet to form a New Moon in this sign, all systems go. This is quite the revolutionary, visionary energy downloading from the higher octave of Mercury, feeding tech and science, as well as the collective and how we proceed. Once set in motion it will be unyielding and shall be a force to be reckoned with so choose wisely and know much will gather steam now through the first 3 weeks of February.

The Sun in Aquarius formed it's square to Jupiter in Taurus in the wee hours so we wake with this expansive potential still in play around how we are showing up with all of these themes and how anything educational, legal, foreign, or involving travel, distant, media, ceremonial, religious, or political might be pushing the buttons on the show a bit more. Apply this to any personal growth you feel might be worth the extra effort in these stories. Uranus can be explosive or exciting and will meet with Mars the activator as he meets with Pluto in February to make it much more so, so do not fan flames you cannot put out, but rather stir passions that can be directed appropriately for the good of your own self-expression and the potential of all.

Next on the docket today is a focus on our Virgo Moon. This asks us to tend to the details, be flexible, put in added effort, and focus on work or health needs, the animals, any paperwork, organizing, or cleaning, or the hired help or co-workers today.

And finally, both Mercury and Mars meet on the 17th degree of Capricorn today to kick off a new story or a new chapter in an ongoing story for us involving time, commitments, responsibilities, limits, endings, authority figures, leadership, personal goals, status, fame, notoriety, career, or our ambitions. Mercury helps bring the ideas, news, offers, talks, meetings, sales, writing, or decisions into the story, it can make it local or ask for short trips or moves about it, or involve siblings, neighbors, vehicles, or electronics, while Mars brings the passion, fighting spirit, drive, motivation, and action into it. Wow, what a day!

Uranus is stationed today, (at a standstill), readying to come out of Retrograde and go Direct, and will be squared by the Leo Moon coming down from its peak Full Moon status. So... anything goes but it's likely to be a holding pattern, a period of anticipation or one of pushing or testing ourselves or feeling frustrated today as we wait for things to shift into forward gear with this energy. The players involve friends, groups, the internet, lovers, kids, creative ventures, recreational pursuits, income, purchases, possessions, or products, or hinge on values, being valued, entitlement, or drama and any aspirations in the mix. Use this combo to push yourself to do a bit more with the knowledge it all breaks the dam late tonight/early tomorrow morning and things start to move again. At 3:50am Eastern Venus entered Capricorn where she will now tour until Feb 16th. This should be interesting as she is now answering to Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, in Pisces. It gives love and income pursuits, along with any focus on beauty or pleasure a more serious, ambitious or reality-based vibe but with a need for artistic, romantic or spiritual influences, karmic give and take, or dealing with institutions or research to get there. We should be setting or achieving goals with our love life or lovers, income needs, beauty, or pleasures now. We might be reaching for someone higher up in the story as well. And we may be ready to mark any endings if things are not what we need them to be. There is also something to status involved with our situations during this transit. So, here we go Venus! The Moon in Cancer aligns with Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, and Mars today to really get us involved with emotional connections, home or family needs, history, or anything pertaining to moves, renovations, real estate deals, parents, or roommates. So, we should find we can ground these things or get ambitious about them, set or reach goals or connect with higher-ups, involve those institutions, the research, or the artistic, romantic or spiritual, and open up channels far away or around travel, foreign, legal, educational, media, or ceremonial themes. We are wrapping up the last of our Gemini Moon transit today via a square to Neptune and opposition to Venus. So the early part of the day is about the information we have floating around in our head, (perhaps a bit of busy brain), or the news, talks, sales, or decisions going on that push us harder or test us regarding institutions, research, addictions, secrets, artistic pursuits, romance, recuperative needs, or spirituality, on the one hand, and focus part of it on love or money, beauty or pleasure and our beliefs, distant situations, travel, legal, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, political themes, or ask us to address our happiness, prosperity or growth on the other hand. Yeah, that sounds busy. The Moon then enters Cancer at 4:51pm Easten/1:51pm Pacific and will then be adjusting to the Sun and Pluto in Aquarius the rest of the day. In Cancer we turn our focus onto our emotional needs, to nurturing, protecting, our home or family, grounding ourselves, or what is going on with real estate deals, history, moves, renovations, parents, or roommates.
