TUESDAY JANUARY 23rd

At 3:50am Eastern Venus entered Capricorn where she will now tour until Feb 16th. This should be interesting as she is now answering to Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, in Pisces. It gives love and income pursuits, along with any focus on beauty or pleasure a more serious, ambitious or reality-based vibe but with a need for artistic, romantic or spiritual influences, karmic give and take, or dealing with institutions or research to get there. We should be setting or achieving goals with our love life or lovers, income needs, beauty, or pleasures now. We might be reaching for someone higher up in the story as well. And we may be ready to mark any endings if things are not what we need them to be. There is also something to status involved with our situations during this transit. So, here we go Venus! The Moon in Cancer aligns with Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, and Mars today to really get us involved with emotional connections, home or family needs, history, or anything pertaining to moves, renovations, real estate deals, parents, or roommates. So, we should find we can ground these things or get ambitious about them, set or reach goals or connect with higher-ups, involve those institutions, the research, or the artistic, romantic or spiritual, and open up channels far away or around travel, foreign, legal, educational, media, or ceremonial themes. It should also help us make choices, have talks, and take action with others in the mix, firing us up and getting us busy. The week ahead of us is so very active and full of fresh new starts and momentum in the Capricorn area of goals, career or authority figures but first, we have today to figure something out in Sagittarius. On the one hand, the Moon in Sagittarius is meeting with Venus to bring lots of love, income, beauty, or pleasure around Sage themes; travel, legal, distant, media, educational, ceremonial, religious, or political matters. On the other hand, at some point Mercury brings news or a talk, meeting, sales, writing, offer, or decision about something going on with these same topics; travel, distant, legal, educational, media, marketing, ceremonial, religious, or political that is in square to Neptune. So, there is something hidden, karmic, crossing the veil, addictive, institutional, about research, investigating, the water, boundaries, artistic, spiritual, or romantic in the story that is at odds or is testing us or acting as a catalyst to push us harder about what is going on. This is at its height from around 8pm today through 1pm tomorrow Eastern Standard Time so it could be a bit cloudy, sad, weird, or tiring during this period or have the opposite effect of amping you up with the muse or subconsciously pushing you to feel your way through it. Perhaps it is all of this effort we make today to get to the bottom of some of this that then puts us into such positive flow the rest of the week. Either way, double check facts and figures and listen to your gut.

On a personal note, the 'r' on my computer has decided it is done working correctly so every sentence I write now on this computer requires me to go back and finesse the 'r' into place in each word by hitting it just the right way. You never know how many 'r's there are in your writing until you have to do without them. I'm sharing this with you because I do try to catch them all and fix them, but you may still find an occasional missing 'r' until I can afford a new computer so bear with me! Oh, and I'm blaming Mecuy (Mercury)!
