The DAILY ASTROLOGY Jan 17th

I'm back, sorry for the absence! James took me for a fun day out and about on Tuesday and the Greek salad I got when we went to lunch was tainted. By Wednesday night I had full blown stomach flu and let me tell you, that is no fun. The body pains are gone but the nausea is still lingering and unfortunately, James now has it as well. Ugh, so that's where I've been. I guess my 12 days of Neptune got nixed but we can still give a nod to it in the run down to the last day in Pisces. I hope everyone was ok the last couple days.

Venus entered Aquarius at 7:43am Eastern and will now tour this sign until Feb 10th. This may mean we are willing to try new things when it comes to making money, that there are more social influences or online opportunities here. It can mean that we are more free with our love or love comes through socializing. It can be a strong period to reinvent what we are doing or how we are going about it in these areas. We might also be drawn to some unconventional object of beauty or find some unusual way to have fun.

The Sun is in lovely flow from Capricorn today which can help us show up and get more involved with a particular goal, be it personal or professional. There is support from Saturn in Pisces which can help with institutions in the mix or with any research, artistry, spirituality, or romance tied to it. Uranus is in flow bringing the money, social, online, purchasing, or possessions needs into flow with these goals.

And finally, we are in the dark of the Moon as it will be a New Moon tomorrow afternoon so we don't have quite as much emotional umph. There is, however, a nice alignment with Jupiter from this Moon today so we might find we are engaging others regarding goals and the home scenarios, family dynamics or emotional needs and this helps a bit.

MONDAY the Scorpio Moon is in flow and should be helpful in going deeper with others, making changes, purging things, focusing on financial matters, getting intimate, or dealing with third party situations. There is open communication to any of this, helping with goals or authority types in the mix. There is also flow involving the bigger projects at home or with family, or involving real estate deals, moves, parents, or roommates in the story.

TUESDAY we wrap up the last of our Scorpio Moon themes so get the rest of that purging done or whatever is on your plate with the financial needs, sex life, divorce, changes, or third parties. Again, we have flow today which should help with love or money goals in the story and anything going on with institutions, research, or the artistic, romantic or spiritual here. At 6:34pm Eastern the Moon moves into Sagittarius and we shift our focus to travel or distant interests, any legal agreements, educational pursuits, or media ventures, or the ceremonies, religious experience, or political agendas at hand. There may be something social or online here that puts you one-on-one with another earlier in the day but crowds may be best avoided.

WEDNESDAY Mercury and Jupiter are coloring the day with big news, talks, meetings, sales, short trips, writing, offers, or decisions. This is opening up one-on-ones with others to focus on the personal or professional goals or involve a boss, parent, mentor, or other authority figure. It again can bring major things at home, through travel, political, foreign, legal, educational, or media interests into the mix or to open things up around what is going on with the family, country, land, or history.

THURSDAY is definitely a Venus day so perhaps there is more to do involving women or the focus is on love or money, or there is potential around beauty or pleasures. This is in flow with serious or long-term goals, ambitions, authority types, as well as with earnings, purchases, friends, groups, the internet, or astrology, sweet! FRIDAY the Capricorn Moon is guiding us, so we are more sober with our emotions and more motivated about those goals. We may need to give ourselves a bit of time to get up and go this morning due to weird or restless sleep, crazy dreams or other foggy influences but once we get further out into the day we should start to really pick up on the potential. This evening may be extra dreamy, inspired, magical, romantic, artistic, or spiritual, pay attention to the signs, doors are open.

SATURDAY Venus changes signs, moving into Aquarius at 7:43am Eastern where she will now tour until Feb 10th. Here she is quirkier, more free, more ready to follow her own interesting course, and more social. So, when it comes to true love, making money, the beauty around us, or enjoying ourselves look to friends, associates or groups, the internet, astrology or charities, parties, events, or gatherings, or pouring this energy into personal aspirations or original projects. This is a more unpredictable, color outside the lines, and sometimes unstable energy field but it can bring all kinds of new influences or untried pathways into focus with her themes. The Sun is quite active this morning so we may be more physically or personally goal oriented, out doing something for the career or with a parent, boss, or other authority type. This does seem to be in flow and may help with solidifying things, getting ambitious, marking positive endings, or earning, spending, or socializing.Talks, news or decisions tonight may open up new doors with personal or professional goals or those higher-up types and it is marrying to the actions taken. Finally, there is also potential at home, with family, or leaning into our happiness or prosperity with another.

SUNDAY is the New Moon in Capricorn. This kicks off 2 weeks of cosmic boost that can help us to start something new or take current interests into what comes next with more momentum. Focus on personal goals, career matters, status, fame or reputation, or on the boss, parent, teacher, director, producer, judge, or other authority figure. This kicks in at 2:52pm Eastern and is surrounded by lots of supportive energy as we get into talks, meet, write things up, send things out, look at sales, interviews, offers, or decisions in the mix and anything involving institutions, research, artistic, romantic, or spiritual needs, doors open. The DAILY ASTROLOGY Dec 8

First of all, my apologies for missing yesterday's post! I am blaming it on Neptune stationing Direct, lol. Arg. So let me touch on what occurred for us yesterday first. Venus moved into Aquarius yesterday morning and will tour here until Jan 3rd. Her presence in Aquarius is a freeing agent when it comes to love, income, beauty, and pleasures. It is a period when we may be more social in these areas of life, where friends, groups, or gatherings play a bigger part, where we may find these things online, be more inventive or original, or more of a maverick, in the quirky zone, or spontaneous. As noted, Neptune ended his months of Retrograde and went Direct yesterday as well. So, we are now in forward motion again when it comes to film, music, painting, poetry, or romance, as well as with magic, spirituality, psychic abilities, and dreams, with any motion towards tackling addictions, dealing with secrets, or with karmic cycles, or with investigations, research, or institutions. It's time again to tune into our intuition and imagination and move towards what comes next in these arenas. Neptune will be Direct in Pisces until March 30th at which point he moves into Aries in Direct motion.

Ok, so what is going on today? The morning looks a bit flip-floppy or perhaps we have a lot on our plate and get into a bit of everything or say to heck with it and go back to bed for a while, lol. There is a lot going on in our heads or with news, talks or decisions tied into it so let's pace ourselves. Topics to consider; short trips, writing, sales, siblings, ceremonies, neighbors, vehicles, electronics, travel plans, distant situations, legal needs, media ventures, educational pursuits, politics, religion, institutions, research, sleep, secrets, addictions, artistic needs, romance, or spirituality. Pretty much everything but the kitchen sink this morning, should we just go back to bed?! Not to worry, it shifts into lovely flow and opportunity after we get past this busy-brain free-for-all morning. The rest of the day we find our groove as social opportunities open up or ways to feel valued come our way or we find online interests opportune or the potential for earning, spending, gift giving, or getting busy with our possessions is part of the potential, and the artistic, romantic or spiritual finds its flow again. Now, for today, because we are in the last of Taurus Moon and in square to the Sun in Aquarius this morning, we may have a slow start to our day or feel a bit blah. This swiftly changes once we exit at 2:39pm Eastern as the Moon enters Gemini (Void Moon between 10:01am-2:39pm Eastern-don't push it). Gemini Moon, once in place, is seriously dancing up a storm today in beautiful flow and active with Venus, Pluto, and then Mars, all in Aquarius. This is about ideas and flirtations, talks or meetings, sales, writing, short trips, or what you are doing locally today. It brings love or income opportunities into flow, is enjoyable, brings change, involves third parties, focuses on other financial influences or sexual intimacy, and stirs the fire to make things happen or open up passion in the mix. Venus moved into Aquarius during that Void this morning, at 11:05am Eastern, and will now be in Aquarius until March 11th. This period can bring more pleasure, joy, beauty, love, or income flow with friends, in groups, at gatherings, online, through astrology, towards charities, around original projects, or with our aspirations. When it comes to love or money we don't want to be boxed in during this transit, we want to be open to trying new things or new approaches, we want to be spontaneous, unconventional, unique, and into the excitement it may bring. It can be a bit more unpredictable during this time or sporadic so try to just give a bit here. The only challenge today if it is a challenge, it could just be that you need to push yourself a bit more at some point, is around Mercury in square to Uranus, peaking around 10:53pm Eastern. So, this could be missed communications, mix-ups, malfunctioning electronics, or sudden reversals, giving that Mercury Retrograde kind of feel around something, or maybe you need to say or hear something that pushes a bit. It is definitely a day to take care on the roads, with electronics, or vehicles, as well as your words. The focus is on an aspiration, original project, friend, group, the internet, astrology (hey now), gatherings, or charities, and what is going on with income, purchases, possessions, products, values, or how you are being valued. As you can see, most of the day we have flow with the Aquarius energy, it is just this one thing popping up to be aware of, don't let it take you off course with all the good stuff.
