The DAILY ASTROLOGY Oct 22nd

We are here, Neptune moved back into Pisces, the sign it rules, at 5:48am Eastern and will Retrograde here over the critical 29th degree now through Dec 10th, go Direct on the 10th and take us forward over this degree until Jan 26th, and then exit to not return until the year 2175. Yes, it's a big sentence, lol, and a big energy combination. Between April 2011 and March 2025 we have waded through this deep water sign with its ruler and it has changed us. We now have this last period on a degree that magnifies its meaning and will help us to first revisit, revise, rekindle, or release things once and for all and then, once Direct in December, to move those things into forward gear.

Neptune in Pisces is about karmic ties-with people, ideas, situations, and the past. It is about film, music, painting, poetry, or other artistic outlets. It is about clandestine affairs, secrets, or deceptions. It is about romantic getaways or time with past life souls. It is about prayer, meditation, yoga, drum circles, magic, signs from the other side, or psychic abilities. It is about boundaries, water, pharmaceuticals, addictions, or bad habits. Or it is about research, investigations, or institutions.

Neptune in Pisces takes us the deepest into any non-reality, deception or fantasy about any of these topics so that we may move through any steps that dissolve away and then reimagine. Neptune in Pisces is the end of a collective story that began 165 years ago as we await the beginning of the next come Jan 26th, 2026. As an example, think of what has shifted and what went on behind the scenes in a Neptunian way with big pharma and hospitals since 2011, a couple things definitely stand out.

So, we start the Retrograde phase today, we head into a 7 week do-over and we should make this count. Want to kick a bad habit once and for all? Want to bring the truth forward, extinguishing the lie? Want to rekindle your spiritual life? You get the idea, look at the list, head back over old territory, get it right or send it packing. Throughout the day today we may find moments where we need to be flexible with partners, clients, specialists, representatives, competitors, or other key players. Bend as much as you can but keep your line in the sand that won't be crossed in your mind.

By 11:51pm Eastern the Sun moves into Scorpio with just 9 minutes left in our day. The Sun is now in the underworld astrologically, in Pluto's kingdom for the next 30 days so we are meant to go into those depths. Here we find we are being pulled into anything about power, sex, control, jealousy, obsession, finances, crime, the occult, manipulations, transformations, divorce, birth, death, or third-party situations. We are to put in whatever physical time needed or look at our physical needs here, or we are to pursue our own needs, making it personal. Don't get lost down there! Here we go.
