Our morning has the Gemini Moon in square to Saturn while our afternoon is about the Sun forming a lovely aspect to Saturn so let's look at Saturn. He's about the time we have to get something done, the effort we put into things, our responsibilities, limits or duties, he can drain us of energy or give us the tenacity to keep going with long-term endurance. He rules our goals, authority and authority figures. He is in Pisces, so this is playing out around any karmic situations, artistic interests, romance, spiritual pathways, institutions, sleep needs, or research. So, our morning tests us a bit while our afternoon and the rest of the day puts us into opportunity with these combinations. Venus is spending the day active in alignment with Neptune in Pisces which ads a dreamy, harmonic quality to the day, again, involving artistic, romantic, spiritual, institutional, recuperative, or research themes, growing stronger as the day progresses. Here we find love or money, women, beauty, or pleasure in focus thanks to Venus and the potential for powerful transformative moments. Mercury Retrograde backed out of Capricorn and into Sagittarius in the wee hours so we start our day in new territory with our do-over. Today through the 1st it is now about reassessing, rekindling, releasing, or reworking what we will with legal needs, travel, distant situations, educational pursuits, media, marketing ideas, ceremonies, religion, or politics. To this end we may run into past people, pick up past ideas or projects, focus on what is going on right now, take a break, meet, talk, look at any sales, writing, agreements, short trips, or what is going on with siblings, neighbors, moves, vehicles, electronics, or decisions in the mix so we get something right before this do-over ends on the evening of Jan 1st. Of course, double check facts and figures, watch out for miscommunications or mix-ups, and see what is brought to your attention that requires a bit more to make it right.
Taurus moon is working with Venus and Neptune today, getting us into purchases, earnings, possessions, pleasures, gifts, or products. I'm sorry I couldn't get last night's show up, Blog Talk Radio has been having issues with its platform over the past week or so, as you guys know the shows from last week had issues. Today Taurus Moon harmonizes with Mercury Retrograde, opportunes Saturn and merges with Jupiter, all positive alignments, and this is then followed by the Sun and Mercury Retrograde merging on the same degree to mark the midpoint/turning point of the Retrograde. Sweet. So, Taurus Moon helps us focus on our pleasures, the things we are building, slow and steady accomplishments, our values, how we are being valued, our income, purchases, gifts, possessions, or products. 1) Mercury Retrograde meets with Saturn today asking us to review, release, rekindle, or rework something through talks, sales, writing, agreements, meetings, short trips, or decisions about a personal or professional goal or with an authority figure. This may involve an institution, research, something karmic, secretive, artistic, romantic, or spiritual, door open.
2) Mars is asking that we act, react, get passionate or deal with anger over any travel, distant, legal, educational, media, ceremonial, religious, or political themes today. This is in adjustment mode with Uranus so pops up regarding something unexpected, last minute, online, through friends or groups, and involving income, purchases, or possessions, be flexible.
3) Aries Moon squares Pluto, pushing us to do more on a personal or physical level regarding a financial topic, sexual attraction, divorce, or third-party situation. This could test us or take more energy.
4) The Moon moves into Taurus tonight at 9:50pm Eastern/6:50pm Pacific and begins resonating with the Mercury Retrograde energy. So, we are more interested in pleasures, earnings, purchases, possessions, values, being valued, or the things we are building, and this is in flow with any news, talks, sales, meetings, writing, or decisions and our do-over around personal goals, career, or authority figures.
5) And finally, the Sun moves into Capricorn at 10:27pm Eastern/7:27pm Pacific marking the Winter Solstice and 30 days of spotlight on all things Capricorn for us. Happy Winter, dare I say it. One of my friends is like an excited child so ecstatic about the possibilities of snow angels, bundling up, and watching the window for the snow to fall, so I know some of you out there love this season, lol. The Sun in Capricorn for the next 30 days means we are ready to show up for our goals, career, boss, parent, judge, mentor, director, or other authority figures, to lead our way forward, pursue our interests, focus on our name, title, body, image, brand, or needs in the mix and shine.
So, that's a lot of energy at play today, let's make the most of it!

We should feel like we are given a free-floating pass today that we should use to do something for ourselves. There was a square to Mercury Retrograde just before midnight/just after last night, so we do still have a bit of that lingering but it it far more likely we experienced it yesterday and are just wrapping up the energy this morning. That would have been a push to do more, lots of energy built up in a frictional alignment regarding the past or ongoing story and any talks, meetings, sales, siblings, neighbors, offers, vehicles, short trips, moves, electronics, writing, or decisions about a goal or involving an authority figure. This is with a focus on releasing, rekindling, or reworking something. The rest of the day is just focusing on our Aries Moon and our own needs, personal or physical, without encumbrance from any outside influences. Now, Venus is building all day to come opposite Uranus in the sky, perfecting at 2:04am Eastern tomorrow morning or if you are on the west coast then at 11:04pm tonight. So, this gives us a strong focus on love or money, beauty or pleasure and going deeper, involving another, being in the moment, expecting last-minute changes or surprises, something social or online, about intimacy or sexuality, jealousy or triangles, other financial influences or control issues, and as with all oppositions can be about perfect balance or confrontational forces depending on your story. My guess is most will experience this as a positive but of course be diligent in all situations.

We have friction, then flow, then friction today so we're likely busier than normal and pushing ourselves harder to deal with or do whatever this is popping up. It breaks down like this: Friction: The Moon in Pisces/Sun in Sagittarius square up through the early part of the afternoon (peaking before 2pm Eastern) so there are challenges or more energy pouring into some big story here regarding institutions, research, artistic, romantic, or spiritual matters, possibly something hidden, deceptive or addictive, and something travel, legal, educational, political, ceremonial, religious, or media related, or what is going big regarding our happiness, prosperity or growth. Flow: We then move into an opportunity regarding changes, deeper moments, financial matters, sexuality, divorce, or third-party goals in the mix. The Moon enters Aries at 5:47pm Eastern turning our focus onto personal interests and what we want to do about them.
